Great place to get local Lithuanian beers chose your own bottle from from a hugh selection and pay at the bar a great place for craft beer lovers ,small selection of spirits and soft drinks, well worth a visit if in town.

Great place for local craft beer! Every beer they have is from Lithuania. Its more like a beer shop with tables then a bar. You select your beer from the cooler, pay for it, they open it, you pick a glass then sit and enjoy. They had a great selection at reasonable prices for craft beer. We paid €4 reach for ours. They have free WiFi and are open much earlier then a lot of the bars in the area.

This is a lovely place built into a cellar. There is a big list of different beers and ciders with a great selection of craft beers. It isnt big but lovely and cosy. An excellent place for evening out with company or even a book.

Cosy basement beer pub with a great selection of non-boring beers. The knowledgeable staff assists you gladly when you are trying to find some interesting local brews.

Its basically a beer shop with tables - you choose your beers at the fridge, pay the cashier and take a table to drink it. They also got snacks. Its a cellar, so enjoy your company - your most likely wont have the internet down there. I liked it. :)

Very friendly staff. Only Lithuanian beer lager, pils , non filtered. Plus something to eat when drinking beer like: meat plate or fried garlic bread or cheese plate or smoked pork ears 👍. Really tasty. Lovely cellar.

A great selection of beer. Almost spoilt for choice but the helpful staff are ready to give you tips if youd like some help. I particularly liked the hemp seed beer.

Found this place by chance. Ventured down the stairs to find a lovely beer cellar stocked with extensive array of bottled beers. The knowledgeable host catered for our preferences. Reasonably priced; a great experience.

Awesome place with refrigerators full of Lithuanian beer. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and help you pick personalized bottles. We had several great bottles which we haven’t tried before and had a great time.

Very cosy cellar pub in the heart of Vilnius Old Town. They have a wide selection of Lithuanian and other beers you probably have never heard of before. Theres a big fridge you can choose your beer from. If you have no idea where to begin, there is always someone to guide you through all the beers to help you make the right choice. So with a wide selection of beers, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere, Im giving this place 5 stars!

+ Located in the luxurious Stiklių street, in a cozy basement of the old town building.+ Pretty good beer assortiment, rare beer kinds can be found.– Beer sold only in bottles and this results in considerably worse taste comparing to one from barrel. When comming to a cozy place in old town named "alaus rūsys" (beer basement), I would expect to get quality beer from barrel and spend some pleasant time there rather than pick up a bottle.– "Fried bread" was horrible and almost inedible like rubber with vague salty spices. "Souce" for this - a poor mayonnaise. I would rate price/quality ratio at 0/5.– We concluded that stuff here is treated offhand for price of 5-star level, i.e. only pretends to be a good place a.k.a. kitsch

Slightly hidden away in the tangle of streets of the old town lies Bambalyne, a small yet mighty craft bottle shop come ale house, the off license laws apply the same here (so 8pm Mon-Sat and 3pm Sunbut dont let that put you off. Inside you walk down some steps and into an old refurbished cellar, decked out with antique tables and chairs, candles and beautiful artwork. Your able to pick any seat you like and happily drink away. The selection is very good so youll have your work cut out, it ranges from Belgian Trappist, to Lithuanian Craft beer and a fair bit in between. The atmosphere on our visit was cosy and this is the place you must come to wind down at the end of your day exploring. The service was good and the prices fair. Cant wait to return.

Great selection of ales.... Staff really helpful with plenty of advice. You just pick a bottle of beer that you fancy, pay for it at the counter, sit and enjoy your choice.

If you enjoy beer, this is a great place to check out! Many quality beers to choose from in a cozy basement space. The server was very helpful in suggesting beers to try based on our preferred styles. You are able to select bottles to drink on site or to take with you. Highly recommended!

Go down the steps into the cellar bar and you will find some great local beers to choose from! It was quiet when I visited but I think it gets busier later in the evening. If youre a beer lover then this place is a must visit!

I and my friend got there accidentally, having no idea about such a big amount of pleasent openions about this place- and we where pleasantly surprised by beer and welcoming barmen. Recommend to visit, hope you`ll like it as we do.

Great place to chill out and chat with friends in the old town, very cool atmosphere as you are in a cellar - no phone signal even so no interruptions. Great range of beers available (all bottled though)

Very friendly staff member talked us through the available beers (of which there were many local ones). Nice atmosphere and the recommendations we were given were spot on.

Hipster type cella bar. Most, if not all, the drinks are served in bottles from 2 large fridges (you peruse and chose your own). Stairs down to the bar are steep.

Quaint bar in a basement with a large selection of bottled beers in various fridges, mainly local brews that you can choose yourself, show the bar lady what you have chosen, pay and then drink it. Would recommend a visit if in Vilinius.

About 80 -100 types of beer. In basement, so mind you need to go up after few beers. Barmaids talk english, lithuanian and likely russian, very friendly. No basement stench.

Great selection of beers and a cool basement setting, that was kind of ruined by the blasting MTV and the staff and friends having a hairdressing session in the middle of the place. At 6 on a Saturday there were only two others there, and I got the impression it might be better later in the evening. As it was, we decided against a second, awkward drink and went elsewhere.

Lots of fridges full of craft beer, but unfortunately only one of them was sufficiently cold to drink beers from, most of which were available at the supermarket. No taps and unenthusiastic staff.

Nice basement bar/beer shop with an excellent selection of Lithuanian beers. They do takeout or drink in with a one Euro a beer difference. On the negative side the chairs or a bit jammed in and not the most inviting, and the temp was a bit warm.

Small, cozy place with rare selection of local bottled bears. Possible to get 0.3, 0.5 and 1l bottles. 3.5 EUR for 0.5 l beer. Don`t expect to find draft beers there. Not great selection of snacks, but worth to taste local beers.

We were very impressed with the selection of bottles on display here, lots of local beer, would recommend for any beer nerd visiting. The interior is cool, and its very central in the old town.My reason for giving a 4 instead of a 5 was the service we got. We came quite early in the morning, and the girl working behind the counter seemed quite disinterested in us. Had hoped for a little more details on the bottles we bought. We suspect that there might be more service-minded in the evenings.

Amazing bar hidden in the basement, pick your beer from numerous Lithuania breweries, get a mug, and sit down in a nice European atmosphere. Nice snacks as well.
