Baltic Restaurant and Bar in Qazaly

Came here last minute on a Monday night at 21:00 when I was in the area with my girlfriend.Bartender who greeted us was amazing. Funny and welcoming. Made us feel very comfortable. Gave us a great table. Despite us showing up late, all the staff were super super accommodating and I cant tell you how I appreciate that, as somebody who works in hospitality I can tell you that last minute walk ins can be annoying, but everybody was still so polite and nice. If they were annoyed, and Im sure they werent, they did very well to hide it haha.Food was delicious. Wine was so so good. Dont usually do shots of vodka, but it was so tasty that I had to order a second round.Service is some of the best Ive ever received. Im definitely coming back at some point, even if just for a drink. The one hour spent here has made a really great impression on me. Loved it.Thank you guys. Dziekuje!

Went yesterday for dinner for the first time: amazed first of all by the drinks bar at the entrance and felt so sorry that i did not have time to enjoy a drink there. Restaurant on the back so nice, ample space. Food was amazing, a surprise, its Baltic/Polish food but so tasty! We had a bacon soup (delicious), steak tartar (really good), some meat dumplings and pankakes with marinated herrings and salmon. It was maybe too much food for two, but we wanted to try. Drinks + 4 plates to share + 2 soups, with service, was 30£ each (as I say, too much food for two, i’d say 2 plates+soup would have been enough). But everything was so tasty! Next time we’ll try the cocktail bar and the mains.

Had a lovely birthday dinner at Baltic tonight. I’ve been coming here for years and the food is consistently good. The service tonight was lovely and I’m extremely impressed with the hygiene and social distancing arrangements. Very thorough without being intrusive, it felt very safe eating in the restaurant.

Been to Baltic several time and keep returning for a reason. Food is great, service is superb but best of all is the selection of Vodka, tried as many as humanly possible per visit but hardly scratched the surface. Awesome for cocktails!

Irresistible place in Centre East London with very well designed venue(hasn’t changed for 10 yearsexceptional cuisine and biggest vodka selection bar. Always highest level of service, fresh dishes made with best ingredients and warm eastern atmosphere. The prices are reasonable. Last time I was here 3 years now and was very happy, and it hasn’t changed now. Very satisfied and will come back.

Food was great,vodka the best,staff & SERVICE INCREIBLE,price mediun high.What i found not good at all is that the hole main restaurant was frezzing (Heathersnot working, our food got cold after 4 minutes on the table. Shame :s

Great, friendly staff. Amazing vodka selection (try some of the infused ones - ask your server for suggestions! The cherry and horseradish are fantastic). Food is wonderful. Im going back tomorrow! Do yourself a favor and do stop in.

A very light and open space with friendly staff. At the opening there is a bar area with sloe gins and a big vodka selection. Drinks are reasonably priced. The food was delicious - light and fresh, the artichoke salad starter and beetroot soup were especially good. Price was very reasonable, and they also accept Tastecard most days of the week including Sunday which knocked a good chunk off our bill.

I have been to Baltic a few times now and I have never been disappointed ! The food is delicious, there’s a good atmosphere and the staff is really friendly. There’s also a massive selection of vodkas. It’s definitely worth it, I highly recommend !

Excellent service, great food! Perfect place for romantic date. Loved the steak tartare. It was just like my dad used to make it for me when I was a kid in Poland :)I will definitely visit very often!

What a good surprise! The food, the staff and the environment are a 5 star experience. We tried a few of the vodkas between foods which made the experience even better. The dumplings, the pork belly and the salmon were the tables favorites.

Overpriced and overrated - won’t come back. I visited this place because of its reviews and was disappointed. Ordered a “large” portion of dumplings (pelmeni- £13 and those micro dumplings made me laugh. I was anticipating real “sibirskie pelmeni”, but this was probably the worst meal I had in weeks. No taste at all, just plain dough.The staff was ignoring me for good 10 minutes before I approached them and asked. With so many great places around I don’t understand why this one is rated so high. 2 stars max.

Great service and really good food! Came for a business lunch, the waiter was so lovely and attentive. The steak tartare was fantastic which I’d highly recommend!

Wow what a lovely place. Great fusion of Easter European food. Dishes were tasty and the presentation beautiful. A gem that looks like nothing from outside and them gives a wow factor on the entry.

Tasty Polish food, I like the dumplings and the pork, sorry I cannot remember the name, but it looks like the deep fried pork steak with potato and scramble egg, which is really good! And the service is also fantastic! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

A great evening. Delicious food in a really nice atmosphere. The layout of the restaurant was pretty much perfect and the staff were superb. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences Ive had in a long time. And not mine boringly expensive either. Highly recommended.

Good food at cheap prices.We paid about 45 pounds for three course and two course meals. Pre-theatre meals are very affordable and you get some of the highlights of the a la carte choices. 2 course meal costs about 18 and three course 22 if I remember correctly. Fresh bread is served with butter and a beetroot spread as well as pickles.If you come by around 530, happy hour means you buy one cocktail and get another free.All dishes tasted very good, especially the roast duck which was flavourful and succulent. Way better than what Ive had at duck and waffle (ironic since the latter has duck in its name).Please give this place a shot!

Polish Restaurant right next to Southwark tube owned by the same people that own Ognisko on Exhibition Road. Has an extensive selection of vodkas and a bar area as well as the main restaurant. All the traditional Polish dishes are available such as pierogi and beetroot soup, also has a good value set menu at lunchtime.

Came back to this restaurant again and got to try more of their food on the menu. All the food was delicious. Only wish we could try more different dishes! Their drink list is big and loved their cocktails. Will go back again for sure.

Awesome Polish restaurant.Very good atmosphere inside. Authentic menu to pick from.The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our meal.We ordered the duck leg and snow cooked lamb, both were delicious.Tried a few of the different flavours of vodka as well, all were delicious .

This excellent establishment is both a refined bar and a classy restaurant - and as the name implies, the main theme is Eastern Europe.At the bar you will be treated to outstanding cocktails and original creations, along with a large selection of vodkas - I personally recommend the Żołądkowa Gorzka, especially for those who are adamant that they hate vodka.At the restaurant, one cant go wrong with Żurek, a traditional Polish soup loaded with hearty ingredients. Pilmeni and Pierogi are also my guilty pleasures.

We went there for Christmas party. The food was a good combination of Polish and Russian cousin. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming vibe with life music on Sundays.We will be back again.

Great food and atmosphere at this extraordinary Eastern European restaurant. Try the bigos and the pirogi for true Polish deliciousness. Good selection of red wines too. Will definitely be visiting again.

The location of the restaurant was good. The layout was nice and relaxing. The food and portion were good. However,my duck confit was not finished with browning the skin soft was a bit disappointed. They did well to accommodate gluten free diet. I enjoyed the starter and desert a lot.

All about dumplings baby. Pork and veal pelmeni and fried cheesy dumplings to fight off the chill of winter. Steak tartare average but the ox tongue and pavlova dessert are phenomenal! Something cold and impersonal about the service/experience...

East European restaurant dressed like an old barn. Hearty food. Wide range of vodka.

Great ambiance with good taste of food from Baltic cuisines though not traditional representations. Good choice for a first date if you want to present your culture especially. Not mouthful portions but tasty, yet a bit pricy. Cutting a star since the drink options were not rich if you are not a great vodka fan, otherwise you are in your heaven.

My friends all loved it and the ambiance was perfect for our gathering. High end and spiffy but relaxed. However, if you’re vegan be aware that there are only three options: an artichoke salad (which they sold out of when I arrived but a friend who had it said was amazing), a Pilaf, and a beetroot dish.Everyone that got dessert gave it two thumbs up. I can only rate it four stars for now as I didn’t get to try anything myself but I’m looking forward to going back and trying it out myself.

Excellent restaurant with extensive menu from Eastern European countries. Front entrance hides the beautiful setting inside. Light airy and beautiful. Great waiting staff and value for money menu. Extensive cocktails wine and food menu. Gave us complimentary vodkas for us all for Fathers Day. Highly recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by tis restaurant. I didnt had high expectations from and Eastern European restaurant from my past. The all atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are attentive. The food was delicious. It made me feel like I was once again home. I would definitely recommend this place. I m looking forward to coming back.

Pierogi was just as good as having it in Poland! i chose the Steak cooked medium rare as a main and it was cooked perfectly despite the thinness of the steak (was still quite large, enough for a mainothers had the duck and pork belly, all were quite happy with their meals. Service was quite good on the night as well, all very attentive but not overbearing and helped refill glasses if need be. all in all it was a very pleasant experience!

Excellent service and food. Good value set lunch. Atmosphere is beautiful...don’t be fooled by appearances from the main road: it’s airey and modern inside.

Great food!We had perogi and spaetzl, and a small carafe of plum vodka for £20 (a promo for January)Food was top notch and although we thought the vodka was gonna be mixed with something, it was still pretty good straight!Really cool bar and restaurant, could easily spend a whole night there (although it would get expensive!)

Always a lovely experience to dine here. Food is delicious, staffs are always friendly and courteous and the vodka are awesome - but be careful how much you drink as they are so delicious. Weve also taken our toddler here and they are welcoming and baby friendly. We will be back again. Keep it up!

Utterly amazing place, great interior, fantastic service and delicious Eastern European food. Nice ambience and an experience worth having. Was not disappointed to take my foreign friends to try my homeland cuisine. Definitely coming back to introduce other friends to polish cuisine. Ps - the range of vodkas available is insane!

Those dishes are made from fresh season ingredients with references to Eastern European kitchen and have a good mix of creativity. Atmosphere is very calm and makes you unwind. I liked it so much.

Intimate, quiet atmosphere. Authentic Russian cuisine. Braised pork was divine, the meat falling off the bone. Barely had to use my knife. Mashed potatoes was amazing and the pears and raisins complemented the pork wonderfully. Hubby had the sea bream which he raved was most excellent. He also had the snow queen vodka which he said was really smooth and great. Awesome service too.

Very friendly staff and tasty food. But I was little surprised that price and description of Bigos I saw online didnt match to the one I received. It was cheaper and didnt have mushrooms in it. It was still nice tho.

Stunning restaurant. We ate in the main part of the restaurant which is at the back and has a stunning vaulted ceiling. The food was divine, having not eaten a lot of Polish food before the waitstaff were great at helping us through the gorgeous choices and making the most of the menu.We had to run off for a show and so didnt get to enjoy the dessert menu (which looked divine!). We will definitely be back.
