Camped with a tent. Nice camping by the sea, the showers, bathrooms and kitchens were like a high class hotel! Staff were nice, with a small store with necessary stuff. Not too expensive for the tent spot.

Very good location with access to the beach. A paradise for families with children. Nice modern and clean kitchen with a view at Terrasse.

Newly renovated/built campground with free showers, water and Wi-Fi. Very nice kitchen and very clean showers/toilets. Cooking in the kitchen costs extra, same goes for pool usage. Both of which we considered expensive. It’s directly next to the highway so it is not as quiet as other places.

We are traveling with a tent. Got a huge place for the campers. Beautiful views, new facilitiesQuite a place.

We called on a short notice in March and needed a camping sport with electricity for a camper van. The staff was really friendly. The views are amazing all the facilities are newly renovated and super fresh & clean. By far the nicest camping place I’ve visited.

Booked a cabin with a bathroom - it was great, enough space for two people and clean. Cabin is quite pricey (950.-considering full cleaning of showers and toilets is expected to be done by the guests when checking out.It can also be a bit noisy during night because E6 is very close and trucks pass by. Other than that great place with a great location.

Ballangen Camping is conveniently located at the E6 about 40km from Narvik.It is a large campground with many cabins as well as pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. While some areas seemed a bit muddy, I stayed on a nice gravel site near the pier. The facilities are amazing, probably the highest standard I have seen on a campground. Bathrooms are brand new with single shower rooms and nice tiling. There is even a community kitchen with all appliances and lovely decoration. The site offers many activities for families, which I did not use as I only stayed one night though. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Price was a little higher than on other campgrounds in the area but that was well justified. Overall a definite recommondation!

Many activities that you can enjoyed here, the shower and toilet are very clean, the staffs are very nice and helpful. I really enjoy it so much.

Too crowded but very nice camping place

Been on 10 different camps in 10 days, this is the best so far. Wide and clean kitchen with plenty of space to cook and enjoy your food. Also, no need to queue for toilet. Highly recommended.

Very rude. Returing from Lofoten Island, the owners rejected us due to their Covid 19 restrictions, because we drove through Sweden to enter Norway when, at the border controls, their own authorities allowed us to enter as we had shown to be only transit through Sweden. No advice on website. We had to driven kilometers in South direction to find another sleeping site. Worst experience in Norway.

Cozy experience. A place with a nice vibe, friendly staff and super clean and new facilities. After a long camping life outdoors, perfect place to relax!

It s a good place to spend your vacation, it s very clean and comfortable. I spend one day in their hut it was very cozy and relaxing, I recommend this place.

Stayed in a little cabin. Had all the necessities, everything was very clean and the place looked cozy. Communal bathroom was very clean, very happy about that 😄 Personnel also didnt disappoint, helped whenever needed. Recommend (:

1540Nkr for 1 night.Had to pay 250NKR also for the dog.Not toiletpaper,the madrass was warm and NOT good to sleep on.I dont know what i paid for, not comfort and no sleep.Im sorry im not going to recomend this cabin to no one.

This place never lets you down! OK, some will always complain about noise from the main road. But if you are lucky to get a space further down that shouldnt be a problem. Nice and tidy. Exquisit refurbished bathrooms and kitchens! Kids love it here!Due to covid-19 it has been jammed this summer, but safe with its restrictions.Always come back, and deeply recommended!

Good place to stay spescially with good weather

Stayed there several time in our caravan. Great service, friendly staff, nice campsite for kids. The service houses (shower/toilet/kitchenis really clean and nicely redecorated.

Very large camping. However not so much space for tents.250 nok for tent and car.Toilets and showers are included.Kitchen requires a special access card, which is not nice.Cleaning of toilets happens at the most busy time, which is not very convinient.

Meh.. Had heard a lot of good things about Ballangen Camping but was a bit disappointed. Overall a good experience for a couple of days but not good enough to pull me back there for a longer stay.+Free showers and toilet facilities+A lot of products in the kiosk+OK food at the restaurant+Pool+Nice place to swim at the pier+Free WiFi (check my negative comment about this)-A lot of dirt spots for the caravan. Some grassy ones but still a lot of the dirt spots. Many of them quite uneven.-Pool was a bit small. Mostly for smaller childrens use.-Bad WiFi coverage. Come on... Its 2020 and we definitely should have WiFi coverage in the whole camping ground.

Amazing camping, mainly due to the great facilities. WiFi and showers are included. There are dishwashers but youll have to pay for them, the same goes for the electricity in the cooking buildings. There are also microwaves and ovens. Only been there for one night so didnt test the pool.

Big camping near Narvik. Has all the services you need for free (showers, basic kitchen), electricity cost more but the spot is very pretty on the sea. Little bit too crowded the tent area.

2 nights, 2 persons in tent with electricity 290 NOK p/nAmenities 4/5The time we were there they just opened a new amenities building with heaps of showers, toilets and sinks as well as a huge kitchen. No complaints about that. The cubicles were spacious enough for all your belongings. Showers are free!If you wanna wash your clothes it costs 50NOK and another 50NOK deposit for the card you need to charge in order to use the machines. -1 star because we never received the deposit back on our credit card although technically we shouldve. So weve paid 100NOK for a load of wash which is ridiculous! Couldnt be bothered using the dryer which really isnt one and hung the clothes instead.Location 4/5It is a huge campground with lots to do for kids - which there were lots. It also comes with a swimming pool and minigolf as well as kart rentals. Theres also beach access and a walkway to Ballangen town which is, except for going to the supermarket which are all closed on Sundays, rather boring. So bring yourself something to do The time we were there it was packed. Be prepared to get comfy on a very tight space or even on a slope.OtherApparently theres a full day guided tour into an iron(?mine every other day starting from the reception. Theyll organise everything for you, just show up. The reception has a little shop for everyday things

Big camping with swimming pool, boat and go-kart rental. Many things to do for kids. We had a brand new cabin. With fridge and kettle. Very beautiful and neat out- and inside. The big shared room was brand new. Unlimited good shower. Big kitchen. Friendly reception with big shop. Restaurant and bar. Good location with access to the beach.

Good camping with everything you need. We stayed here about a month ago in cabing due to bad weather. Other wise we wouldve stayed in tents - cant tell if thats possible here. But i hope so.Cabins were a bit pricey but there was no other choice. Its small and for me, it was enough for one night.

Very nice place with lots of activities. There is a pool and a water slide for kids (60kr), mini golf, Segway (300kr/h), play area. The showers were clean but water very warm and it could not be adjusted. Kitchen was rather big and looked good.

We stayed here for one night sleeping in our car, so one and the only thing we expected to get in camp is possibility of having shower with hot water. But there was just cold water althow the camp wasn’t crowded. Other thing I have to mention is dryer. You pay 50 NOK for using it because you want to have your clothes dry. But in this camp you will pay 50 NOK just to wait 40 minutes till your clothes are enjoying centrifuga and you’ll take off your T-shirts etc.as wet as you put it in. Well spent money. I don’t think that service you’ll get there is enough for **** camping.

Little bit expensive for just a tent 200kr for 1 person with 1 tent without a vechicle. There is only space of maybe 10m^2 for all the tents on the camping. So thats a bit disapointing, showers are ok, kitchen is clean but you need your own equipment. Charging your devices is nearly impossible as a tent camper because they dont want to charge it in the reception. So you have to plug out the water heater in the kitchen or leave it in the toilet to charge your things.

Visited at summer 2015.Well equipped 4 stars camp site - a bit large, but with enough space for campervans, cabins and tents. The staff was professional and friendly. The price for tent campers was at the middle range - I think its more than well justified by the camp equipment and quality.Location at Ofoten fjord near Ballangen township is nice, although its not exactly the center of stunning outdoor activities, except fishing which is just around the corner. But e.g. hiking to monumental national mountain Stetinden is about 50 km away.Facilities are clean, communal kitchen large with couple of dining tables and stoves (but without kitchen utensils). Coin operated laundry and dryer (but theres no dedicated and heated dryer room for shoes and cloth, only the strings between the trees at tent place area). Hot showers were for free.Camp provides other facilities and services we did not test: sauna, boat ramp and rental, wifi, children playground with trampolines, mini ZOO (pets), sandbox with mini excavators (well... it seems to me Norwegians are possessed by excavators!), restaurant and swimming pool with tobogane.Conclusion, pros and cons: very well equipped and managed camp site for reasonable price with a lot of extra services. Only disadvantage is location, which is fine, but not stunning. But there is no other camp around in mid-distance.
