Quaint motel, friendly host, spotless room, comfortable bed, quality linen.

We got small room but clean(espeacially with good price). Thats all we need for 1 night stay. The owner was so friendly. Highly recommended.

A lovely, family run, welcoming motel on Manning Street, in walking distance from Tuncurry shops, only a small number of rooms, some are renovated, all are very clean, excellent bedding and linen, bathroom towels and amenities, tea/coffee, all other utensils you would expect, TV, free internet, lower prices if you book direct, no road noise to bother you, onsite parking for one car per room, swimming pool. We loved our stay. Owner managers are happy to engage, and satisfy your needs. Highly recommended. Ask for a renovated room, if available, you wont be sorry.

staff was very friendly, rooms were clean but the beds where uncomfortable I woke up every 2 hours and the bunk bed in family room was very squeaky and looked like it would tip over whenever the kids would climb to get the top bunk. It’s good for a overnight stay.

Very clean, good price. On main road. Comfy bed. Lovely managers. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Not far from rockpool....little beach for little ones and older. Dont drive by.

Very clean fit for purpose basic motel. Comfortable bed and good shower. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I had some noisy neighbours, but cant fault the motel itself.

Big thanks to new owners, Tracey and Alan, for their warm welcome(!!and super cosy place to rest 💤 There was everything we needed in the room: Shower/bathroom, linen, super-soft blankets(!!), microwave, fridge, kettle, hairdryer - and even a pool out the back! 🌞 Located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood 🌿

Stayed 4 days and even though it is small it is clean and the bed is comfortable. Customer service is excellent. Highly recommend and it is close to the water.

The service there was absolutely disgusting, very rude and arrogant . I do not recommend this motel.

Nice small motel with a swimming pool added in. Convenience of being so near to the main beach at a decent price added with good reception staff. The lady at the office was very nice and gave us a good idea of what we can do in Forster with the family.

Lovely friendly owners, was very clean, cosy, comfortable and affordable. Only stayed for one night. Nothing to complain about, noise isn’t a problem, didn’t bother me in the slightest in like others mention. Seems like a lovely family owned Motel, would definitely come back again and would definitely recommend.

One word -wow - Excellent value, top-notch customer service, one of the cleanest rooms I have seen, high-quality appliances and pillows - cant ask for much - will be returning for sure :)

Great price for what is offered. Kids had a blast. The lady at reception was lovely and welcoming. Rod was great my son left his smart tablet and he kindly posted it back to me. Thank you.Didnt give five stars as I found the bed uncomfortable for the 4nights we stay. If it was just for overnight I would definitely stay again.

The manager (Rodwas specifically asked during booking process whether the place is noisy in the morning. The manager mislead that the place is quiet. TRAFFIC NOISE from 5am makes this place impossible to sleep. To make it even more disappointing, when you check other reviews you will find that overall summary of the place would be: small but clean rooms, and be prepared for early morning traffic (mainly passing trucksnoise. Disappointing that the manager mislead the tired traveler about inability to relax in this place.

Good price for room. Friendly managers helpful. Room felt a little bit cramped but thats my opinion. Great guest soap and shampoo conditioner.. Only down side was some excess traffic noise.

Though the rooms are a bit small (who cares? There’s so much to do out there!), they are very well equipped and extremely clean. Proximity to the road is not an issue at night. Very comfortable, brand new bed sheets and towels. Wine glasses, cups and saucers, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, iron and board in the room. Plates and bowls on request. Owners are absolutely lovely.

Booked very spontaneously and arrived late (check in is until 8pm). We were welcomed warmly and loved the room. Parking right in front of our door, wifi connected perfectly and was fast, the lovely lady who checked us in even gave us a free milk for coffee next day. The room was fully equipped, TV, towels, bath accessories, hairdryer, toaster, water cooker, microwave, fridge. Shower is big and has great pressure. Everything was perfectly clean. Had a relaxing, quiet night. Would definitely recommend this place and stay again!

Great budget motel. Small rooms but has all necessary items including toaster, microwave and hair dryer. Good quality shampoo and conditioner with great bathroom. Fan prevents mirror fogging up. Good size bathroom. Loving the locakable screen door and touch lamps on the bedside tables. Parking conveniently close to rooms. Pleasant, friendly and obliging staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean motel at the most accessible location.Just need to be mindful that the walls are thin and sound will cross over even if you talk and may disturb somone next to you unintentionally.All in all, good place to stay.

After day 3 of 5 driving from Nth Qld to South Vic this was the best nights sleep of all. Deb and Rod are so friendly and happy and Helpful. Clean, tidy, all amenities needed. Beautiful pool and the most comfortable beds. Breakfast is served to your door at the most incredible prices. Will definitely stay again.

Husband and i have a Queen size room was a bit small But ok wonderful and clean very friendly staff bed ,tv,and microwave were greatso was the hot water thank you allvery happy my first time writing a review thats how clean and good it is .

Humble little motel in a great central spot. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. We loved the room, clean and cosy and a really nice pool area. Tuncurry breakwall is a beautiful place to go!

Ah back in the 90s I stayed at this hotel several times. Kinda a dump but then again it was inexpensive for a traveling person on business. Nothing really jumped out about the room except it provided the basics. Shower with hot water, TV with remote & bed with no bugs.I will say there use to wonderful 70s Chinese Food joint that offered a great specials for under $10 across the parking lot.Well, sorry for a blah review but what do you expect from a blah hotel?

Great value for money, convenient, clean bathroom area. Rooms are a little small, but they are well equipped, with a microwave, tv, hair-dryer, and aircon, bbq and pool. Staff are very welcoming.The shower head is suitable for very tall people over 65". Would stay again.

What a lovely motel. The rooms are very comfortable though smallish. The managers are delightful and friendly. The quality of the glasses and drinking mugs etc are excellent. There is nothing worse than not being able to enjoy your coffee/tea in a silly small cup that your fingers dont fit through. Price is fantastic and the motel is in a good position. Very friendly and helpfull staff. The rooms have been renovated and are very clean. Even at a very busy period they were able to accomidate me for an extra night. I would highly recommend

Checked in: 5th April 2012 (Easter weekend)Stopped here overnight on a trip up north.The young couple who checked us in were extremely friendly and inviting.Outside impressions clean and tidy the same with the reception area.They provided room wireless internet for $4 and the overnight stay over Easter was a reasonable $73.The room was small but it was tastefully decorated, cleanly painted walls and tiled floors. It came equiped with a fridge, microwave, tea and coffee etc, wine glasses etc, kettle, airconditioner and if you dont like the ac there are lockable screen doors on the room, cupboard with extra pillows and blanket, iron, board and broom, fluffy towels they have thought of it all. The bed was extrememy comfortable. Bathroom was a reasonable size nicely tiled and very, very clean. They supply the basic motel toiletries and also a hairdryer. All rooms are non smoking but outside each room they have supplied tasteful double wooden outside benches with astrays for those deperate for a smoke.When I looked in the morning each room had been rented.Overall a very pleasant and comfortable overnight stay and if we are passing through again would most definitely stay here again.We stayed in room 9. Motel is on main road but not like a Sydney main road, it wasnt noisy at all.
