Bale mountain national park (kiyu)
Bale National park is a beautiful park in Africa
One of my favourite National Park in Ethiopia. It is a breathtaking. The park has endemic wildlife like Ethiopian wolf and Mountain Nyala. A must visit park in Ethiopia.
Gorgeous, remote, wild. One of my favourite national parks in Africa.
Amazing alpine forest and plains… big problem with human and livestock encroachment…
Best Place to visit
it is one of the high land conservation area of Ethiopia
Wildlife is extremely endangered by the growing population and their cattle who graze inside the Park. Grasslands are completely overgrazed, leaving endemic speciesto go hungry and extinct. The road is busy with trucks carrying illegally imported goods to avoid control at the main road.Apart from the lodge owner and his staff, nobody seems to care about it. Management and rangers of the Bale National Park should take action to preserve the Parks wildlife. The nature itself is gorgeous but in need of proper protection.
Beautiful park, with great variety of landscapes and climate : from Harena rain forest to the high lands of Saneti plateau. However after 4 days there we really noticed the danger facing this park.Deforestation and over grazing done by humans cattle are damaging this unique place. We wonder if national park teams are taking the issue seriously, or if they have the means to improve the situation.

Amazing Discovery landscapes of Ethiopian experiences and knowledgeable Tour Guide and Tour Operator Ethiopian. Come visit the property country Ethiopian .
Enjoy it every time! Love the quietness and air! Can be chilly!
This is a fascinating natural wonderland with amazingly diverse vegetation and biodiversity in the altitude range between 2900 and 4220 meters above sea levels. The scenes are so special, but the roads are too bad and the area is not well developed for tourism. There is a lodge at about 100 kilometers from Robe, but it takes you an adventurous 3 - 4 hours to get there. But the wonders here, worth seeing regardless of the challenging roads
40 km walk with no one around. It was truly amazing and a nice break from the city.
Great spot to see Ethiopian wolves.
very interesting place. We saw some animals but not the famouse native fox (or is it a wolf, its not clear).
One of the most memorable experiences of my life!
My husband and I did a 3 day/2 night guided tour around Bale HQ and Web Valley a couple weeks ago. Generally mixed reviews from us. While the wildlife was abundant and fascinating, we found prices for a camping tour ($265 per person after LOTS of haggling, though note that this included transport from Hawassato be unreasonable for "average" backpackers. Also, our tour felt rather rushed and relatively little of our 3 days were actually spent in the National Park. Probably wouldnt recommend this trip unless you have a large budget and more time.
I trekked the 4 day trek in about two days with the help of our guide Armaye. We were short on time, but he was up for the challenge on guiding us at a faster pace. We had an awesome time and he was very knowledgeable about the area and was good at reading weather patterns. It was a tough two days and we were very sore, but we had a great time. Thanks Armaye!
The best place to visit and enjoy. It is the Paradise to earth.

Beautiful nature and wild animals
Very nice
its so green, beauty & a nice place to take a breath, & to know the secret of nature.
A fascinating other worldly place, and probably the highest place you can reach by road outside the Himalaya and Andes (4300mMany people come here to see the Ethiopian wolf, the worlds rarest canid and they are easy enough to spot on the Sanetti Plateau part of the park. Antelope too are easy to spot and get close to including the Mountain Nyala, another very rare species and birders will get a few ticks as well.
Wild animals easy to reach in their natural habitat
Beautiful and wonderful area, I wanna go another times.💛💛
Very few facilities, but lots of wildlife.

It is the most amazing place I ever seen. It has forest and mountains. And some of the place looks like that it has never seen by people. It is so quiet and the cloud is near.
fresh air, awesome view, cool people just I love the place😍😍😍
Oromia Bale national park is very interesting place all over the world
Stunning scenery of Alpine Africa
A fantastic place to see wild wolves, seven of them playing together just before sun sets, spotted by Yegerem our very good guide
Bale mountain is one of the best park in ethiopia to see different kinds of animal.
Part of this national park is shared with indigenous peoples, therefore there is a conflict with humans and animals. For that reason dont expect to see the big 5 here. Most of the animals one will see are game with the occasional leopard. The park is interesting allocate the whole day, make sure you have picnic food and refreshments. Once we left the main gate that was the last we saw of others. During our visit we were the only tourists in the park. Make sure you have a 400 mm lens to capture the Simien fox, raptors or to take landscape photos. Budget at least one days travel from Addis to arrive at the Bale Mountain National Park.
The park is just awesome We entered the park feom Dinsho town Stayed at the lodge inside the parkWe were there on a cloudy, drizzling morning It had rained the previous night Everthing was wet n lush greenThick vegetation Seemed almost like the Amazon rain forest
Beautiful nature and almost no tourists there.
Huge range of endemic bird life, the extremelyendangered rare red wolves, equally rare lepidoptera and a new first rate hotel "Bale Mountain Lodge" in which to stay after a day exploring.
