Former 1905 hotel now displaying antiques & artifacts exploring local history across 40 rooms.
The historic Baldwin Hotel Museum is an informative place to visit in downtown Klamath Falls. Many turn of the 20th century items from lumbermen to the famous Maud Baldwins photography studio are displayed.
Very friendly and the yours are very informational
Looked awesome inside but they should really update their hours showing they are “Closed for the season”…Oh and the number provided is for the Klamath County Museum. Not this place.
It is a great tour. Such great history of Klamath Falls. The two hour tour was a great price $10 each.
What a great visit. Tour was worth every penny($10). So interesting and the rooms were all set up with different themes of the time. Would def recommend.
I absolutely loved going back in time! The tour guide was full of knowledge and made the tour fun and exciting. Artifacts galore! Looking at pictures wont give you the same vibe as visiting the hotel. Make your stop today, you wont be disappointed!!
Such a cool museum showing off the history of the area and of one of Klamaths founding families. Lots of well preserved history of past businesses. Highly suggest taking the two hour tour so you get to explore the upper floors. Our 8 year old daughter and 14 year old son really enjoyed it, so much to learn and look at!
We were pleased to find that this museum was open! Our tour guides were very sweet and we really enjoyed hearing about the things they knew. There is a wide variety of artifacts that you get to appreciate while learning about the local history. It was definitely a lot larger than I was expecting and I am certain we spent more time on that tour than the intended 2 hours. I would recommend it to any visitors to the area who are interested in learning!
Sadly close for the season. Wont open till Memorial Day 2020
What an amazing place! So full of History! It was full of stuff from the "olden" days and we had the best "tour guide" Cory👍
old man place
Great tour and I learned so much about local history. Great tour guide Mary
An absolute gem! What a wonderful place to visit & gain some knowledge of the local history, from a more intimate perspective. Thank you for the wonderful tour, Mary.
Absolutely love this hotel!! We took the 2 hour guided tour with Mary. What a great experience. She was so nice and knowledgeable . Im pretty sure we went well over 2 hours! The hotel is a lot larger inside than it looks. It has been very well preserved and the artifacts are interesting.
I cant tell you how much fun it was to go through this museum. Truly a step back in time, not like regular museums and more of a living history experience. Furniture, clothing, personal items, all displayed as hotel rooms as well as all of the merchant stores you would have seen in town at the turn of the 20th century. Four floors filled with antiques displayed "in situ" as you would have seen them at that time. Absolutely engrossing. Not to be missed!!
Great experience, we was there in 2015, great tour of the hotel, felt some cold spot, and seems like you are beening watched. I believe this place is haunted! We are planning to go back there soon.
Pleasant little museum, lots of artifacts and historical info. Although the tour by the volunteers was not well organized, it was informative and fun.
We had a fun time with our tour guide learning about the history of the building and the family of Baldwin Hotel!
A truly amazing piece of history. Curated to this day by locals. Learn about life at the turn of the century. Come in to look at curated rooms on every floor and see how life was 100 years ago. Learn about the Baldwin family and the White Pelican. Fascinating.
Beautiful historical building and the history is phenomenal.
Our guide was awesome . Ive been here a couple of times. I love it
Very knowledgable and friendly staff. The museum is beautiful.
This is a great museum to go to and it’s not one of those boring museums.
Super cool old hotel and felt haunted if you ask me.
A wonderful museum!
