Baldinos Giant Jersey Subs in Marietta

46 year old restaurant hasn’t updated any of the interior in 46 years. Dirty floors, tables, and seating. Bland tasting tuna sandwich after I had to ask for my order after being skipped. Won’t return.

I love their subs! 5 stars for the food, but two stars so they actually read. One of my favorites! HOWEVER, I have come to b*tch a bit. I was recently in a car accident so I’m not driving at the moment. I had to have my ordered delivered and when it arrived, I was missing TWO items. When I called, the person over the phone acknowledged they forgot. Cool! But, I’m without my items and no way to get them. I leave this review to stress that whoever is in charge of online orders, MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE TICKET so you don’t forget anything.

Its okay. Maybe a bad trip but to me, bread is the key to a sub. Well, at least a key ingredient. Bread needs to be fresh and have a slight pull/tug when you bite into it. Can have great cold cuts but Id the bread isnt right, it spoils the eat. This visit, the bread was a little stale (on the dry sideand no pull/tug. Ill try em again, tho, to see if they were just off their game.

Should be called Delicious Subs. Right when you walk in you can smell the bread and the meat is sliced fresh, by friendly staff!!! Then when you finally get to sit and take your first bite you know “this is where you parked your car!!!” Yum. The bread is so flavorful and the meat piled high tastes so good. And getting it Baldinos way makes every bite as good as the last!!

Always get good customer service. A favorite from when I lived in Savannah. Like getting boars head turkey. Bread is soft and toppings make it perfect. Cookies are hit and miss depending upon who baked them.

Sadly this place has gone to total hell. Outside has torn signs dirt , very shady. Inside is the same dirty place since it was open and a nice food score of a 74 matches what the place looks like. What a sad sad ending to what was once a rockstar spot

My nieces favorite place to get a sub since she was about 4. Absolutely loved it and now she is 14 and still her go to place if that doesnt say something I dont know what will.

If youve ever been to Jersey, had a true Jesey Sub, you dont forget it because there isnt anything else like it...These guys bring that experience to right here on Powers Ferry Rd...Our son ate here religiously after school in the past, the taste the quality, the service are so consistent and just screams authentic... Try it out , you wont be disappointed

Food is fast, delicious & nutritious. The employees are friendly, quick and work efficiently. I have been coming here ever since I was a little girl with my dad when they had free bread. Our family has been coming here for decades! The GM Corey especially is great with customers and work ethic!

The sandwich was just ok for me. They didnt put the oil I requested on the sandwich or the mayo. There was no salt and pepper on the tomato and they forgot my hot peppers. They could have done much better than that.

The food delicious and Italian ballion ? Was amazing and now my favorite with jalapeños chips. The two young men were patient and kind.

Come here about once a week. Love the boiled ham. Provolone cheese and oil and vinegar are great too. Potato salad and macaroni salad also good. Very fresh and tasty sandwich. One of the best sandwiches around here

Dine in the sandwich was good, went to get a table and On my way to the windows, I notice that all the tables has a sticky shiny look git where I wanted to go sat at a table layer down the sandwich the plastic bag glued onto the table didn’t like it, seems to me that they are using some cleaning liquid or its just time to redo the tables tops,

I have been coming here for many years and the food is great however... The place is disgusting. No one cleans the tables, or the floors. The bathroom looks like one you would see at a truck stop. The owner just needs to do a deep clean.

Great jersey style subs.I frequent there because they have a daily special for about $4 best deal around the area. And their bread I believe is made daily in-house (which is the unique niche on their sandwiches.

This is BY FAR my favorite sub shop. If youve never had the opportunity,nay the pleasure of eating here, and youre close by and hungry.STOP AND EAT!! I was skeptical the first time I pulled up but dont let the somewhat unkempt look scare you off. The bread is delicious and ALWAYS fresh. Veggies and meats are sliced when you order so the flavor is always 10/10. Tables can be sticky but I cant stress enough how darn good these subs are. My favorite is "The American Army".

First time going to this Sub shop and loved it. Every bite of that Italian sub taste fresh and delicious, from the bread to all the ingredients. I would definitely recommend.

Love their sandwiches but lately they are late opening, and when u come later they a SUPERSLOW no sence of urgency at all. Dinning room is filthy all the tables are sticky. I trying my hardest to find reason to keep coming.

A hidden gem. Fast, friendly service and awesome sandwiches. The restaurant has an old school feel but it’s not dumpy as some of the reviews tend to insinuate. It has character! Lots of Atlanta Braves memorabilia on the walls from over the years. I go here for lunch as it’s not too far from my office in Kennesaw. I highly recommend.

Whoever does not know Baldinos Subs is missing out on a local jewel! I have been coming to Baldinos forever and they never fail to please! The staff is respectful and professional in their demeanor and I am always welcomed. I hope you get the chance to try them out and get to enjoy one of my local favorite places too.

I grew up in South Georgia. My dad worked on base in Ft.Stewart, and would always come home with Baldinos subs. My sister and I always said no sub place would ever compare. When I moved to Atlanta, I was so glad to see Baldinos nearby. The quality is just as good here as it was in Hinesville. I highly recommend Baldinos to anyone wanting a good sandwich. It’s worth it.

Got #19, this was the best in the past. Today it was the worse, the cheese was raw not melted into the CHEESE STEAK. I have been a customer in the beginning especially when they made potato salad with bacon. I recommend customers that been there for the same reasons I did. Time to find something better

Walked into a empty baldinos and I ordered a tuna combo, baldinos way... Tuna taste like it came straight from the can, no season or flavor. Just thick chunks of tuna. The tables were pretty sticky and in need of some sanitation. Doubtful Ill be back to this location.

Have not been here in a while. I order the US HERO sub, which has about everything on it. It is a double meat sub as well. The bread is always freshly made each day. Great cold sub sandwich.

One of my favorite places when they do things right which is getting to be few and far between.think they got rid of the main problem but employees need to be trained on handling food I hate onions and half the time my sandwich tastes like onions from cross contamination almost threw up today didn’t just get onion juice but multiple onions need to store them in there own spot on prep station next time will be the last

Ive been eating at Baldinos since 98. This location is barely kept up on cleanliness, which is why I give it 4 stars. But they still can put down some great food. It can get very crowded during peak hours.Jersey steak fan? #26 whole, add jalapenos. Try getting one of those for takeout and not drooling all over yourself in the car.

I went into this place for the first time. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I have to say that I was originally from the northeast and we are known for the best subs or grinders as we call it. They were just as good here as they are there. I will definitely be back on a regular basis.

They make great sandwiches, but the facility has not been updated since it was originally started. Everything is stained and or dirty. I travel Internationally, most third world food providers offer better accomidatons. If you stop by, the torn awning out front isnt a sign that they have closed up shop but it does reflect the owners thoughts of the customers.

Great Sub & Excellent Deal -I would go to the one in Doraville weekly when I would go to my office before the Covid Pandemic. Now that Im working from home in Marietta, I have been to this one a couple of times for lunch. It seems as if their a little short handed - as the order takes twice as long to make. They still have have the $3.99 Daily specials and the sandwiches are just as good.If you havent tried them give them a shot - Im a big eater, but there daily special and a cup of soup keeps me content w/out feeling like I need a snack later in the day.

Edit 2: Tried it again, still disappointing and just not the same.Edit: This place was sold to a new owner recently and much of the staff was replaced. The service is pretty bad now. Tables are constantly sticky and not cleaned off and food takes significantly longer to prepare. Back again! We eat here all the time and its always good. Love the daily specials and the fact that they change them every month. Fantastic subs, amazing potato salad, and definitely check out the pepperoni rolls. Theyre good to pick up for a quick breakfast during the week.

I have been a fan of this place since I first decided to stop in while my car was being worked on several years ago. Anytime Im near I swing in for a sub. If Im not hungry, I make it lunch for the next day. Delicious is an understatement for the bread! Treat yourself, you will be glad you did.

I went here with coworkers and ordered a Chicken Italiano. It was fabulous. Great food, 10/10. I give Baldinos a 4/5 though because all my coworkers were done eating by the time my Italiano finally came out.Sure it was hot and fresh and delicious and Im definitely going to be back because I want another in my mouth literally right now, but its awkward to shove a giant sub in your mouth as fast as you can while your coworkers just watch because theyre all done eating.Ill definitely be back, but may consider a cold sub to make sure service doesnt take 10 minutes.

Incredible sandwiches. Great taste. Only hiccup is that the staff has no sense of urgency. They are incredibly busy and I totally get that, but don’t be hanging out having conversations with one another while 10 customers are waiting on their sandwiches. Recap: great food if you don’t mind waiting

I have been to Baldinos several times for lunch, and it has always been a joy. Their subs are absolutely amazing and I have never been disappointed by one. Especially the "Steamed Ham" because I love it SO much. I order it almost every time.If you are tired of the same old subs, and want to try something with a classic feel to it, try Baldinos. It will fill ya for sure!

Decent, but not nearly as good as the Doraville location. That one is more newly updated and is cleaner. Plus, their sandwiches are better. This location is so stingy with the veggies - even on a veggie sub.If I order a veggie sub, Id assume that theyd give me a decent amount of veggies. Not this time at least.

Sadly this place is sliding. The sub was ok, other than not being made as ordered. It used to be the absolute best sub anywhere but, something has changed lately. This was the first time I had to wait over 20 minutes for my food. At one point the entire staff disappeared except the guy at the register! I heard others complaining their food was incorrect and after the staff tried it again, it still was wrong. Truly disappointing! I hope they get it corrected!

This has been a favorite spot for me for YEARS. Since the ownership change, the staff has immensely changed in service and absolutely could care less about service. I have had multiple run ins with cashiers who tell me "I just work here". If there is a price listed for a product in plain sight, that price should be honored. On multiple occasions I have been told the prices are not "up to date" and was told today "those prices are 20 years old and they dont matter anymore". The ownership change has taken the charm out of one of the best sub shops in town. I can no longer recommend due to not know how my referrals will be treated when they get here.

There was a lot of hype about this place but it was ok. Decent at best and its hard to not have a good review for just a sub. Went back to try it again and they actually lost a star and business. Service is not great and an up charge to change the type of cheese you want.. really?? I was probably charged for the toppings too.**Update**They are always out of spaghetti

Ive been going to this place since 2001! The people are always nice, the food its delicious, always busy during lunch and Im glad to know that they are closed on Sundays. My favorite is the Italian Battalion. Way better than Subway!

Takes a while to get the food even on slow days, but it tastes great. Their bread is amazing. Also the dudes who make your sandwiches are chill and tend to banter with you a bit, but Im too socially awkward to respond appropriately :P

Very impressed with how many people were in this little place... Even after I ordered people kept coming in for lunch. Health department was there and all the associates on the line still kept cranking out food like it was nothing. Ordered the Wednesday special meatball sandwich to go and it was affordable and quickly prepared. Incredibly fresh white bread. Savory, juicy, hot meatballs. Absolutely one of the best subs Ive ever had. Going to make it a point to go back asap. Outstanding job!

Sandwiches taste fantastic, but the service and wait times are poor. The red-haired female cashier has the most unbelievably poor, toxic attitude. Her welcome/greeting has the most extremely disgruntled tone that lets every customer know that she absolutely hates her job, and that she hates serving you. I never expect rainbows and sunshine when dealing with customer service employees, but this is beyond ridiculous. Everyone hates their job, sis, dont take it out on customers who have been nothing but friendly to you. As for the wait times, its a little bewildering how they can have so many employees behind the counter, simply making sandwiches, yet you have to wait 40 minutes for a single sandwich. Having sat so long waiting for my food, I think I have figured it out: The bottle neck in their assembly line is the meat slicer. They only have one meat slicing machine, and the operator has to change out the meat multiple times for every single sandwich, due to their most popular sandwich having like 3 or 4 different types of meat. They try to be smart and batch similar sandwiches together so they are minimizing the number of meat swaps, but theres only so much you can do with 1 slicer. The other employees in the assembly line spend the majority of their time waiting on the meat slicer. Invest in a couple more meat slicers and I believe this place would be a sandwich making dream.

Just had a veggie stir fry sandwich for the friday lunch special and it was excellent! It was my first time here and i will be back every week moving forward. Food was served quick and everyone was friendly. See you next week

Never been here before and decided to stop by and try it because I saw the great reviews! Definitely happy we stopped. We split a giant Turkey sub and it was delicious! I noticed in other reviews that people said the bread must be fresh and i completely agree. I really like the bread they make there its soft! The cookies are a must! Both chocolate chip and macadamia nut were awesome, theyre always fresh and soft! Girls at the counter were very helpful and nice! Overall a great visit

I found this place about a month ago and they have killer subs. Fresh baked bread, fresh sliced meats which they dont skimp on. All subs can be customized to exactly the way you want and they do it with a smile. They even have the right style of ice to complement the perfect fountain Coca-Cola. They also have some hot sauces. I eat here twice a week MINIMUM!

The sandwiches are totally awesome! The staff on the other hand mehhh. They all look miserable and unhappy. Theyre never rude however. Sometimes it takes pretty long to get your food especially at lunchtime, but thats also a testament to how yummy their subs are.

My first time eating at Baldinos, can I just say best sandwich Ive ever eaten before. The wait was a little long but its diffently worth it. The sandwiches have well enough meat on them. Ill be returning soon to try something else and the prices is reasonable. The only negative thing I have to say is that the workers need to Smile, they all looked as if the were either ready to go or mad about something. They also maybe need to have a extra person working to keep the tables and things clean we they get busy.

The Italian Battalion sandwich was awesome! Fresh bread, lots of meat and quality provolone made with my preferred toppings. The chicken tortilla soup was disappointing--didnt taste like fresh ingredients, more of a canned soup taste. But I will definitely come back for the sandwiches! Next time Ill try the pasta as well.
