The atmosphere is perfect. Hands down the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve ever been to.We got the cappuccino and cookie combo and did some work for hours. So good we plan to return tomorrow.

A wonderful place for coffee 5 stars! Nice Cappuccino…but too noisy (employees talk too loud and sassyto hear my meeting with Earphones…& the washroom was mysteriously occupied for two hours, couldn’t get in…This is Panama…not NY…that’s not an excuse…

I only had the geisha coffee and it was great! You don’t even need sugar. That’s how you know the coffee is good. Unlike American coffee lol

Excellent coffee but super small servings - a latte should be 10-12 oz, and I’d be shocked if their “latte” cups hold 8oz.Staff is very kind and friendly. The pastries and the bread looked really good too, might go back to try them :)

We stumbled on Sisu while walking around Casco and decided to stop in on a Friday morning for a cup of coffee. I had their Geisha pour over, my mom had a hot latte with soy milk, and my husband had a hot chocolate. He also had a chocolate chip cookie, which was very good. The coffee was good, but I think I prefer the Geisha blend at Cafe Unido more. Their regular coffee is very good though, so we ended up taking a bag of their estate beans home. The aesthetic inside the cafe is on point and if this was a coffee shop in NYC, it would be popping. It is a no-cash spot, so youll need card or contactless payment.

Nice place, nice view, but the coffee recipe used for pour overs produced a beverage that was a little bit over extracted. Tried their Geisha, and their coffee helped them a lot to cover the sporadical deficiencies of their barista/brewista.

Wonderful place for pour over coffee, and the cafe is cozy too. The employees are very friendly and speak English, so it was nice being able to ask questions and communicate what I wanted. The geisha coffee is a must try!

This is by far the best Artisanal coffee shop in Casco Viejo. From the coffee latte to the Geisha pour over, everything is amazing in this mix of modern with old Panama. The chef makes magic in her tiny kitchen. Must go place!

This place has clearly revamped itself and I experience the best coffee here on my journey through Panama. The space is modern, open, industrial/minimalist, but for me, it felt too sterile.

Great coffee served by great people. I have been 3 times to Sisu since they openned (like 2 weeks ago). I keep going because of the great food, coffee and atmosphere. I am so happy they openned in Casco so many tourists can experience how great Panamenean coffee is.

Nice little space. No trio (flightoption of different Geisha coffees. Feels humble for what is a well known and expensive coffee shop. A class was going on in the back- with some neat teared seating options. Coffee is good. Communication is difficult- if you dont know Spanish. Ultimately not my favorite space or vibe. With the prices being so high and the decor not so good- it doesnt match up. A normal bag of coffee however- 8 dollars is a good price. And that coffee is high quality too. -with roast dates on bags- No roast date written out on Geisha, which is not okay in my opinion.

I had very bad experience here, I highly recommend you hire professional barista. Maybe because I can’t speak Spanish or because I came when it was close time.I was trying to ask the detail of the geisha coffee, the elevation, the lot and the flavor since there is no such information on the package. The barista only knows it is natural and it is middle toasted. A farm like Elida has bunch of different lots coffee, even it is natural but there are different natural process. As a consumer who is willing to pay 35$per 120g coffee, I have the right to know the information of the coffee. Even though I still bought two bags of it.

Cozy, friendly coffee shop making the ubiquitous "geisha" coffee pour over. It is well made. There is more space than is apparent when you walk in, so dont be concerned about finding seating.

Ordered a cold brew here and wooh. Im a fan of dark and bitter drinks, and have had coffee from all over the world prepared nearly every way you can think of. This coffee was incredibly bitter with very little actual flavor to it, somehow. Friend did not have a problem with theirs but I needed a decent amount of cream added to make it tolerable to finish.

I love a good cup of coffee. I stopped in to have the geisha coffee here. Honestly I was disappointed. Maybe its just not for my taste. The coffee didnt have much flavor and tasted more like tea than coffee. Maybe it wasnt made properly? Their pastries were tasty though.

Decent coffee, but there are better local options. Also be aware that there are fake tour guides working the crowd here and trying to hit you up for money, so be cautious about anyone who seems overly friendly or wants to take you to a specific shop or restaurant.

This place was fine but not great. The staff were not very friendly or inviting. Their cold brew coffee was pretty weak but still tasted good and was refreshing for the hot day. Coffee cake was good! I think there are better more relaxing coffee houses in town with friendlier staff.

Very small inside, if you want to buy roasted coffee beans you better bring you gold bricks. They have several types, some are small for $15 but one of them is a tiny package enough for 1 pot of coffee for $60. I have had coffee around the world some extremely good. None that were worth that much. I got a cold brew and it was ok. I didnt feel it was much of a caffeine blast like when I do cold brew at home. Not sure why, but it was ok. No real complaints.

THE place to go for the best Panamanian coffee. The owner of this coffee house owns three estates that make the best geisha and premium coffee (Elida, El Burro, and Luito Geisha). A regular latte is powerful and delicious. For a rare experience, try its drip geisha coffee. It’s velvety texture and complex notes will impress and charm. Coffee beans, $30 for a small bag of geisha beans, are available for purchase. A wonderful souvenirs for the coffee aficionados!

Visited Bajareque Coffee House after reading about their award-winning Elida Estate Geisha coffee. Although expensive (understandably so given it’s value and reputation), the coffee was phenomenal and the staff were exceptionally knowledgable and passionate (a special mention to Adele for being fantastic!).The non-coffee drinkers in the family also said the banana bread and chocolate brownies were some of the best they had tasted! An all around great place, thank you!

We came here to try the geisha coffee, as we were told it is one of the best coffees in the world. The store is way too cold and the barista women was really unfriendly and disrespectful. A cup of coffee for 9$ is simply too expensive , although it does in fact taste pretty good.

Not much of a coffee drinker but was told I had to try the geisha coffee. @ $9 it seemed mighty over priced but it was an interesting experience. The flavor is almost fruity and didn’t have that same caffeine kick regular coffee tends to have.

Great coffee in the old town. If you are looking to buy Geisha Coffee this is the place to come. To drink the coffee here as a filter drip version it will cost you $9. To buy the beans they are around $25. There are other types of coffee mostly from Boquete, Panama. The atmosphere is a little dark and dreary but it is a nice place to try Panamanian coffee.

This coffee house is a little hidden gem at the end of the shopping Street in old Panama. Their Farm is far away but their coffee is excellent they have multiple washed flavors of Elita and geisha and an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their coffee is Simply the Best in Panama City.

Stay away! This is a tourist trap. They sold me bogus coffee at $25 for a real small bag claiming that it was their specialty Geisha coffee. I had the Geisha coffee from them while I was there and it definitely tastes different than normal coffee, it has almost a fruity/herbal tea like taste to it and the little black bags of coffee with no label that were sold to me are clearly just plain old coffee. This place is a scam and the Geisha coffee is not worth what theyre charging.

They no longer have Esmeralda Geisha coffee. I gave a 3 stars only because iced coffee it was very good and friendly service. The food deserves one star or less. I wanted to try the croissant sandwich with ham and cheese and they didnt have it. This was at 9:30am. Ordered the empanadas (cheese with spinach and chicken. They were terrible. Dried and tasteless.

Great local Panamanian coffee house. Love their Elida coffee. Comes in natural, washed or honey roasted. Their coffee is brewed in Chemex. Which is the only critique, I like mine french press. But great cozy intimate place. And you can buy your own beans. A bit overpriced.

My first coffee tasting experience and Im sure it will be my best. Wilford the the owner whom gives the class is amazing we went through the complexities of coffee and tried their speciality that they grown on there farm. one of the most expensive in the world, geisha coffee. This is a must do experience you will learn so much and best of all you will meet Wilford whom is so passionate about coffee its been in his family for generations.

In A Nutshell:-My wife and I have been looking forward to our trip to Panama, especially to try out the highly-coveted Geisha coffee.-For $9 USD /cup-of-joe you can taste the smoothness of this rare coffee bean. The taste then leads you to feel the caffeine circulating through your bloodstream until you are TURBO-CHARGED.-The shop itself is very small, very clean and cute. You can see the simple menu, various awards for their Geisha coffee, photos of the coffee trees and cute upside-down coffee cup lights.Overall, as we enjoyed our coffee, we noticed several local guides steadily bringing in tourists to explain the history of their coffee. Very enjoyable place!
