موق جميل جدا ومناسب لحفلات الحناء
بيت النابودة احد البيوت القديمة في مدينة الشارقة ويحتوي على معلومات وقطع اثرية عن تجارة اللؤلؤ.
Bait Al Naboodah, the house of Naboodah, tells a story how wealthy Naboodah family lived in former Sharjah. Unluckily only the ground floor was open. As a part of history of Sharjah trip worth of visit.
A beautiful place to visit; loaded with history and culture.
Beautiful job of showcasing the olden times. Very peaceful atmosphere
A very interesting house museum in heart of Sharjah! This was the house of a pearl trader in 1840s and the house expanded to fit the extended family and it was restored to tell the story of this Trader and the traditional life style of Emirates! You can have a guided tour or to participate in the activity room (family friendlyall included in the ticket fees which is 10 ED only! It takes around less than one hour to complete the full tour and read the panels.
Local de interesse cultural.
This museum is hidden gem in Sharjah it shows it talks about one of the most successful traders of Sharjah, the economy of Sharjah and how pearls used to be one of the most valuable commodities of trade for Sharjah and his journey of pearl business between Sharjah , India and Europe
Sharjah, UAE
Such a nice place
Este museu está instalado numa bonita casa das elites locais, no caso um comerciante de pérolas. Nele são exibidas diversas peças associadas à comercialização das pérolas, balanças, calibradores, etc. e ainda se pode ver o luxuoso quarto do dono da casa.
Its affordable, 10 dirhams for an adult ticket. Small museum, well kept, each door ignites old treasures. The first room is very informative.
Museum that talks about one of the most successful traders of Sharjah, the economy of Sharjah and how pearls used to be one of the most valuable commodities of trade for Sharjah before the Japanese discovered how to make pearls artificially.
Beautiful place
Bait Al Naboodah first opened its doors on November 14, 1995. It reopened its doors on April 08, 2018 after renovation and restoration. Here we can explore the authentic architectural designs of traditional Emirati houses, as well as about the lifestyle and values of our ancestors. This house is a unique model of the marvelous Sharjah architecture.
Good place to visit with kids, family, or friends. It is a house of someone, that now become a museum. The architecture design is beautiful. There are a lot of room, a lot of things, picture, etc that show us about the history of the place. The place is clean, but not too big, and not all room opened. They also will serve us the traditional coffee and tea. But i feel not comfortable, because the security always following me and other people everywhere we go.

The Museum is located inside a historic house, carefully restored and combines historical exposure with images of everyday life of the past. Some rooms summarize the history of pearl fishing and the wealth that came from the collection of pearls. From the end of the 19th century until the 1930s, Sharjah experienced a period of wealth because the pearl trade was profitable and everyone worked. Then, when pearls began to be cultivated in Japan, prices went down and there was a great crisis, completely overcome only with the discovery of oil. The visit is carried out by visiting the rooms that open onto the courtyard, in some of which the rooms of the past have been reconstructed: a kitchen, a bedroom, other rooms. Then continue to the upper floor, where there was the summer bedroom, designed to be cooler. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The visit opens reflections on the history of Sharjah and helps to better understand the lives of its inhabitants.

Worth the visit, stunning architecture 👌🏻
It is amazing old home, perfect museum
THIS VERY OLD HOME BELONGS TO AL - NABOODAH A PEARL MERCHANT OFTEN TRADES WITH INDIA, AFRICA ETC..ORIGINAL HOUSE IS BUILD IN 1845 USING CORAL REEF BLOCKS ,MUD,GYPSUM AND PALM LEAVES FOR ROOFING.SMALL WINDOWS TO INSULATE HEAT AND HIGH WIND TOWER FOR CAPTURING WIND AIR IS SEEN.CORAL FROM SEA BED IS LIGHT,POROUS, HARD AND ALSO GOOD HEAT RESISTANT MATERIAL.THIS BUILDING HAS A INNER COURTYARD WITH TREES AND ALL ROOMS ARE FACING THE COURTYARD WITH A VERANDA .NARROW PASSAGES HELPS MORE SHADES FROM THE WALL.....THE ONLY DIFFERENCE FROM INDIAN - OLD KERALA STYLED NALUKETTU HOUSE AND THE ARABIAN TRADITIONAL HOMES ARE MODIFICATION OF ROOFS.IN KERALA DUE TO HEAVY MONSOON SLOPING TILED ROOF OR TRADITIONAL COCO-PALM THATCHED ROOFS ARE SEEN.
Most of the rooms are locked as they are used by management team.one of the oldest houses in sharjah. Good knowledge for heritage. But its not worth visiting such place specially. Well its ok if you visit is just passing by that area.
One of most beautiful heritage houses in the region, where you travel to the past.I highly recommend people to visit it to know more about how the life was in Sharjah in late 80’s and early 90’s.
