Food is wonderful, service is great, reasonable price, i recomend for big eaters😁

Nice ambience, good hygiene. Good for Indian, Pakistani and other neighbouring friends as there were many at the time of our visit and having good times. They do not serve liquor. Staff was cooperative and well behaved. Although very less options for vegetarians but I liked Falafel with Hummus and chutney.

Food is just great, with very very reasonable prices. All meat plates are worth trying, especially the grilled ones. Juices are also amazing. Thumbs up!

The restaurant is so dirty. I got poisoned for two days I ate two times and I complained to the manager who was so rude, so in polite. When I expressed my observation he was angry and said to me do not come to the restaurant. The price also more and they play with the list of pricing. You need to be careful. I will never advise it to me friends or relatives. There much better restaurants. In fact the restaurant is not yamani and no one is supervising from Yemen who knows their cosine well.

I cant stay away! There are literally thousands of places to eat in Addis BUT every time I come I have to stop here first and eat before anywhere else. The food is great, the service is great and the atmosphere is very inviting. The owner ALWAYS says hi when he says me even he is engaged in a conversation or on the phone. I will continue to come here every time Im in Addis. Come see for yourself.

If you are looking for halal and Arabic food in Addis Ababa, Bait Al Mandi is the only choice.

I visited this place with my families and dine in the restaurant, the food was great taste authentic, the servers was very helpful as well, their tea also great. I highly recommend this place for families, friends dinner.

I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I was really disappointed on what they served us, the food had no taste nor quality the flavour was flat and horrible. Their hospitality was really really bad, the waiters were mean and had no manners at all.

Very clean and organized. The foods are very good and the service is also excellent. There are wide variety of foods to choose from and a few drinks. There are complimentary soups and tea. If u r looking for Mediterranean foods in addis this is one of the good places to check out.

One of my favorite restaurants in Addis. Great food and great service. In particular the mezzi platter, mendi, tibs, watermelon juice and the fasting macchiato.

Well, I was litlle bit disappointed. Maybe because I had expectation. As my parents came from yeman to Israel and we still eat a Jewish Yemeni food at home and I wanted to see the differences.Anyway, I felt no-one really look on me, maybe because is speak English. Best Middle eastern food in town

This is one of the best places to have mendi, I highly recommend it. Their food is always consistent and delicious. With so much to choose from already, they also just added Indian food. There is complimentary soup that comes as youre ordering your food. And they also have complimentary tea upon request. Their juice is also great. They clean their tables well after each customer too.

It’s a great restaurant!!! Bait Al Mandi is a Yemenite restaurant in Addis with amazing food and ambience. We went in the evening and the whole place was shining with hanging lamps and beautiful lights. There is open sitting area well. In terms of food, everything was delicious! From hummus to falafel, from pita to couscous salad and from juices to Ayron; we were so happy and satisfied and super full at the end of it. The cost is also fair and they are not over charging! I think one can ask for a pita which is complementary! Yay yay! The place has got such an amazing vibe that it your want to try Mediterranean food in Addis, it should be among your top places! *MUST TRY*

The best restaurant in Addis hands down. Others dont even come close. Amazing food on the second floor and authentic Shisha on the 3rd floor. Couldnt ask for more. Must visit!

Had a fabulous meal here, soft tasty lamb and great fresh arab bread, good rice, all would have been enough for two but it was so good I almost finished everything. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and a very nice and helpful manager. No tricks like in many other places, no hidden extra charges. Ate here 3 times now and always great.

Incredible service and food! Nice outdoor environment. The hummus, avocado chicken salad, and couscous salad were delicious. Definitely recommend!

So I have a lot of experience of Yemeni food and this is just not up to the standards I have come to expect from this cuisine. I dont know how "authentic" they claim to be, or how it compares to other "Yemeni" restaurants, but the Yemeni section of the menu is very limited and the quality of the food somewhat underwhelming.Still it is ok for a change but certainly not somewhere I will be returning to in a rush.

Wonderful service. Came in alone and was welcomed right away. They helped me carry my bags in, gave me the WiFi password and helped me choose vegetarian options. I was here while breakfast was being served and they went out of their way to allow me to order off the lunch menu. A few months prior, I came in with a large group for a birthday, and they stayed open late for us, again with wonderful service.

Presumably one of the best restaurants in Addis, Id rather stick to my hotels kitchen, didnt personally trust the hygiene of this place. Owner is cool and willing to help, but the standards there stay nowhere near the Europeans..

Great great great! I spent about a month exploring restaurants in Addis and this place is surprisingly priced and absolutely delicious. Also extremely welcoming, great service, and the owner/manager? (Not sureis quite wonderful.At my table we got a huge rice and meat for 2 platter (more like for 4 though its was huge), and bunch of hummus, complimentary soup, and a lamb dish.The hot sauce was ridiculous. It was so good.Just great. You gotta go.

Food was OK but uninspiring. The restaurant is great for dinner parties with lots of separate dining rooms. Service was good and staff very helpful.

We went here for dinner our first night in addis and LOVED it! The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming and will give you tons of tips on what to do in the city. Portion sizes are very generous and the hummus and ginger lemon lime drink, as well as the grilled chicken, were a few of our favorites in an overall delicious meal!

Nice and honest food, reasonable prices. Appetizzers (taboulleh, homusETB 120 each; main dish around ETB 280; dessert, ETB 80 (for 3 people). Whole lamb for 5 people, ETB 2500 - need order in advance.Dont believe in the waiter: if the dish is with red sauce, is spicy, very spicy. :)

Delicious Yemeni food, friendly staff. They have a nice mint tea (nana shaiand I particularly like the chicken or lamb aqda and of course the mandhi! Beautiful bread that goes well with the fresh tabbouleh and hummus. Come ready to eat or with friends as the portions are generous.Alcoholic drinks are not available.
