Bain Park Picnic Area in Kempsey

Toilet door off. Place was a mess. No hand drying. Does not reflect well on an otherwise clean town

We love it here. The fence is great to give the kids freedom to play and keep them safe, while we keep an eye on them from the coffee shop!!A little sad that the gardens were neglected

Nice clean and great place to have picnic with children.

The park is ok but the amenities are atrocious.the toilet pedestal in the male toilet is not attached to the floor and falling sideways.

Good place for family bbq

Even though it is a small park and the small garden box is not maintain but its useful for the kids to use the park, it has a training road for small kids for their small scooter or small pedal bikes, It has a cafe in the side of the park has water bubblers and has toilets its still helpful for the town of Wauchope.

Gated playground with even MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS(!!to keep the playground-goers safe from the movers in the traffic/road park!

I just had a rest in my car after swimming at the pool next door (lovely people therehowever I noticed the undercover table, BBQ & disabled toilet.

There Are no public bbqs here. Park is nice though

Great dog park for All Dogs,it has sectioned off for both big & small breeds. Water & Doggie Bags provided Zeus loved the small dog section & had a play with new dogs. Before nine & you should find the place to yourselves

Nice park near Wauchope town centre. Fenced in to keep younger children contained and a wide variety of equipment. Also has a bicycle road/path adjacent for kids to practise riding bikes, and grassy park for my running around.Some of the equipment is a little past its best so a little TLC would make the park perfect.

Great little park, its got it all for the young and old, play ground, a tared push bike learning and training ground with road signs for the first new bikes.Fantastic coffee shop for mums and dads or grandparents over looking both to keep watch over the little cherubs.Highly recommend it.

Very popular with the locals clean public toilets has a lovely atmosphere and shelter for the whole family to relax and enjoy the playground is well maintained with plenty of room and the children will love it also has a large area where they can play it even has electricity points plenty of parking and is a short walk to the main street it even has a coffee shop running on one side of the park

This place is great. Its got everything youd want from a park. Toilets. Playground equipment. Bike track. Picnic area. The bike track is ridiculously cute with all its road signs and we had a blast playing pretend.The only issue I have is the gates are a little old. They need a little TLC to make sure they close properly.

Great place to take the kids for a picnic as you dont need $. Which is always a bonus these days....

It was very quite and relaxing,with toilets and cafe..BBQ area a fantastic childrens fully fenced playground area. Travellers dream many cafes surrounding Bains Park

This park is incredible for kids. Scooter/bike track with road signs and off road terrain. Slides, swings, climbing equipment and an oval for playing soccer, football or walking the dogs. Theres even a coffee shop. This is a great place to stop off on the road trip along the coast.

Its a great place for kid of all ages. It is starting to show a few signs of aging and needs a little maintenance but the kids look past that. The bike track is excellent

Bain Park is a great spot for families to enjoy a relaxing time. It is great for kids to play in the outdoors. It has amenities close by and Watermans Cafe is ideal for meeting up for a coffee or sharing a meal with family and friends. Wauchope has a lot to offer and once you visit you want to come back more often. Say Gday and share a fantastic town. 😀

Fantastic spot when youve got the kids/grandkids... they can run feral in the park and you can grab that well earned takeaway coffee! Or when the ankle biters have temporarily worn themselves out you can all sit down and eat cake...mmmmm

Good place to go for a picnic. Has tables under cover, a tap near by and many bins provided.There are some play equipment and small section of tiny roads for kids to go around on bikes.

Well maintained childrens playground and park area with clean public loos and covered picnic area. And theres a tap to fill the dog bowl.

Large enclosed kids playground, open park land, under cover picnic tables and toilets. A good amount of car parking places along 3 sides of the park. Shell service station and shops near eastern entry.

Great place to sit back and let the kids do wild inside the gated playground.Away from the play area there is a bike path to help the little riders learn all about the different road signs.Plenty of room for the family picnic as well as a clean public toilet block.

Pleasant setting with childrens playground and nice cafe. Carpark is available.
