Bagelman in Brighton

After Uber eats completely messed up the delivery of a big order I placed, the lovely guys at bagelman remade the entire thing despite it not being their fault at all. Truly wonderful customer service and excellent bagels as always!

Omelette and ham bagel was really bland! Won’t recommend BUT the BLT was good, and you add an omelette to the sandwich!Ok coffee and lovely staff.

Love visiting here, the team are always friendly and the bagels are so tasty!

We loved this place on our trip to Brighton. Definitely a must stop for lunch.

After investing 60k of my own money into this company, in January 2022 the company Bagelman limited went into liquidation owing hundreds of thousands to local Brighton people and suppliers, people who trusted them! they wrote off all shareholders investments including mine. The owner then bought back the previously valued 1.3 million pound company for just £80,000. Now they have nice new branding, nice new store, nice new branded merchandise, such a shame about the morals and ethics of the company. If you are thinking of buying a Bagel from Bagelman please just spare a thought for the original shareholders and local suppliers...as this will happen again.

Nice and inviting small establishment in the lanes. The staff seemed friendly enough and the food wasnt too bad for price either.. In an area where everything is about trends, which includes eateries its nice to see a place I can still get something I want, rather than what my company of people want..

Always great! I’ve been to this location and the one at the station multiple times. Always get great service and delicious bagels. Great that they do GF as well. My fave is the Rueben and the CBA. Lovely bacon bagel and coffee deal too !

Caters for coeliac and intolerant. I went in and asked if they catered for coeliac and they immediately explained everything that made it safe for coeliac.Being a coeliac myself this makes life so much easier and happier because we don’t need to worry!Their gluten free bagels are to die for! It was my first time but I’d definately go again!

Bagels really tasty and original. The waitresses are really kind and he does the bread his self which is the final point to this incredible bagels. I really recomend it for lunch/dinner or even breakfast.In addition they have brownie and cookies for a sweet ending. Bagels are around £6-9

If no stars was possible I’d give it. my food came RAW and STONE COLD I did everything in my power to have someone listen to me every single person shut me down without even an inch of respect. The manager of this store is an absolute joke this is the worst customer service I’ve ever had , he was purposely so rude and personally liked to tell me how this wasn’t his problem, girlies please do not waste you’re money I’m APPALLED HOW DO U EVEN HAVE 4 STARS!!!!!!!

This used to be a favourite but my experience today was bad. It took over 10 minutes for staff to acknowledge a large queue of customers were waiting. The prices have gone up and the service has gone down since being sold off. Not what it used to be - disappointing

Visited Brighton to try these lovely bagels. I went for a classic smoked salmon and cream cheese but with a onion bagel and chives 10/10

So delicious! We both got the salt beef filling. I got a sesame bagel and my partner got the jalapeno bagel. The staff were so lovely and the service was very quick. The place isnt huge so I would recommend getting to go, especially if youre planning a picnic on the beach 🏖️ 🧺❤️

I cannot say enough about Bagelman and their wonderful gluten free bagels. This was a rare treat; anyone with celiac knows how hard it is to get a hot gluten free breakfast on the go that isn’t porridge, and Bagelman ticks all the boxes. When I ordered, the cashier asked if I was celiac, and kindly made my bagel in the back on separate equipment. The bagel itself was perfectly chewy, with a crisp outer layer, exactly as a bagel should be. It was loaded with cream cheese and tons of bacon. Truly, the only downside was that I made a complete mess of myself and needed to grab more napkins! What a wonderful treat, I can’t wait to come back for more!

Delicious gluten free bagels. They take care to prevent cross contamination too.

When I visited this place neither the person attending to me or the assistant behind her were wearing masks. The maskless guy behind the girl was refiling cheese slices into the containers with his bare hands. The girl made my bagel without gloves or any kind of hygiene measures. All this exposure for a mediocre, tiny, hugely overpriced bagel. The kind of place you only visit once unfortunately.

The best bagels in town. Our kids love this place, whenever we are shopping around town we always stop here for a snack. Lovely bread and all the fillings you could imagine. Lovely staff too

Paid £5.25 for a bagel filled with avocado, halloumi, spinach. It was really good, tasty but definitely would put on the pricey as far as sandwiches go. Recommended for people that want to try something new!

Amazing bagels, and wide variety of vegan options! I ordered the vegan blt with the plain bagel, and it exceeded my expectations. The bagel was fresh, crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Heaven! I honestly think if you’d give it to a native New Yorker, they would think its a ny bagel !🥯 got 6 of them to take home!

I challenge anyone to find better bagels! They are super duper delicious! Can get a little busy around lunchtime but the staff are usually quick and efficient. The prices can be a bit steep but if you get the loyalty stamp card this is a nice perk if you visit often :)

Lovely atmosphere, brilliant fresh products.Many different vegan options too!I purchased a plain bagel with sausage, bacon and mozzarella cheese.-Mouth watering!!I should also mention theyre brilliant at making drinks, one of the best coffee Ive had!Would highly recommend :D

Friendly staff and beautifully made vegan bagels.

Went to bagel man this morning before work and was served by the friendliest of staff members. I wish Id got her name but she worked the morning of Monday the 25th and made me one veggie sausage and one normal sausage bagel. She was chatty and helpful and generally put me in a good mood ready for my shift. Also the bagels were delicious!

Omg. Gluten free bagels and lots of options for toppings. Its very much an on the go place with a fast turnaround. A few high stools to perch and munch away but not many so be prepared for tasty food on the go.

Delicious bagels, lovely regular filling combos and really nice specials. Efficient friendly staff. You can buy bags of plain to eat at home if they have enough. A Brighton institution in my opinion

Staff are always really polite and friendly in this store. Great selection of bagels, there could be more vegetarian options but you can mix and match as much as you like. Overall great food!

Lovely little place! Friendly staff with a great selection of bagels/ fillings on offer. Very small though with limited seating. There is another store not far from this one with a much larger seating area. This store is better suited to take aways. Prices are fairly steep, but nothing outrageous.

Just love the sausage omelette bagel here. The staff are always friendly. This Bagelman has a little seating too. However it is pricey. Most especially on the drinks front. £2.65 for an Americano (Nov 2016).

Fab lunch snack spot, they are always pretty flexible with the bagels they can make you and are super generous with their fillings. Super friendly staff and even when the place is queuing out of the door you can get served pretty quick.
