More like bagel sh$&. This place is so bad employees here don’t give a hoot at all. There’s no consistency whatsoever every time I give it another shot they fail miserably. So annoying that I end up wasting my money hoping they will be better. But this time I’m done.

My wife and I try OC bagel shops on Sunday mornings after hikes with our dogs. They have yummy bagels. I bought the toasted cinnamon with cream cheese. Cant wait to try their sandwiches.

What happened to this place 😭 would not recommend ordering ahead as they make terrible substitutions and do not offer half the things they list on their online ordering system

I ordered a bagel sandwich and an iced coffee. Got the sandwich and ate it before I even got my iced coffee. Very inattentive and felt like I was being dismissed. 3 other customers came in and had their orders in full and left before I even got mine.

Place is usually great, but unfortunately got Rob. Worst customer service in the history of bad customer service. Boy just didnt care.Ill keep coming back though.

Fresh bagels baked daily. Good bagels, especially love the hot breakfast bagel sandwich options! One favorite is the Lowers: eggs, cheddar cheese with optional bacon. Generous portion of bacon! Lots of other options available. Good selection of bagels and cream cheese. Try the cheddar & Jalapeño! Great spot for a quick bite or bagels to go!

Tuna did not taste fresh. Fresh orange juice is either from the bottle or old definitely not fresh but they lie of it being freshly squeezed.

It used to be a good place, not great just ok. But after previous owners moved, sold or whatever, the service is terrible especially with the new kids in the front. I liked to order a fresh juice and see the prep. Now they give it to you so cold from the fridge. Is it really fresh? How old is the juice? Do they add water just like the donuts business place next to them? The funny part is they sell it to you at the same price. They dont refill their coffee and cream containers, if you buy a coffee and the container is empty you have to ask right? Well they dont like it and they get upset. I think the business is too much for them. Too many bad experiences. The food and service doesnt improve just become worst. Im not coming back.

Best bagels in town and great coffee! Ive gone here for many years and its always fresh. Friendly staff and the owner treats his customers like family. 👍

Busy on a Saturday morning. Quick and great service though. I got an everything bagel with cream cheese. It was good, but nothing special. I wish I would’ve got a breakfast sandwich; those looked much better!

The texture of the bagel and the service was good. The bagels are chewy and fresh. The cream cheese was also very creamy. I found the bagels too salty though. Not sure if this is characteristic of this stores bagels.I had a quarter of a strawberry bagel and a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. An excessive saltiness and absence of any appreciable strawberry other than the hue of the bagel was disappointing, so I requested a replacement blueberry bagel, and they graciously obliged. The blueberry bagel shared the saltiness sadly.Both the strawberry and blueberry were drowned out by the saltiness of the dough. Its not extreme, but it disturbs additional flavors of the bagels.

My first time going into the Bagel Shack. I will definitely be going back. I ordered the veggie bagel and loved it. It was huge and came with a pickle. Game changer right there. They added bagel chips with I’m assuming Asiago cheese crisped on them 👏👏 bravo. The staff was polite and looked as if they enjoyed what they were doing. I will be adding them to my lunch spots from now on. Kudos to management for paying attention to details.

I change my rating. Not fair to the rest of the crew. Most of their employees are friendly and provide good customer service with the exception of a couple bad apples

Have not found ANYthing on the menu so far that I dont love when it comes to their bagel sandwiches.Learned of a couple bag sandwiches that are NOT on the menu like The Baja Malibu and The Wedge. Try to stop me from going back!!

Still the best Bagels you can get.They do not disappoint.Churches or Old Mans are some favs to try.The french toast bagel is a winner for the less savory minded eaters

Delicious bagels and reasonable prices. Smoothies are decent as well, and they even have an option without banana!!The asiago bagel is delicious with good spices and not just a little cheese sprinkled on top of a plain bagel!

First visit and wont be the last.I ordered the Cashew Chicken and it was delicious. I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu.

They have a great variety of bagels that are cooked fresh everyday. The service is great! Its very clean inside. I had the Lox bagel with tomatoes, cream cheese, capers and onions on a toasted bagel. It was fantastic!!

The bagel was great but my favorite thing was the crew. They were so happy and positive! They were joking around with each other and I could tell they were smiling underneath their masks. Such a great energy in there!

Top Notch Breakfast delights. Would drive here from cedar city Utah, again, just to indulge. If you are choosing between here and the Wind and Sea. Choose here you’ll save a lot of money and the food will be much better.

Best bagel we have had in OC. Luckily they just moved even closer to our place :it’s still a (fewstep(sdown overall from what we were used to in NYC but I feel they have continued to improve over the last year so kudos to them! We are grateful to be able to get some high quality bagels for sure. My go to is the everything bagel, bacon egg and cheese with tomato.

Location has changed and the listing needs to be updated. But the phone number is the same so we got directions to their new location near Albertsons. It was absolutely delicious!! Staff was super welcoming and friendly.

Good enough. Bagels are made fresh. Not the best but good enough since its the only bagel place in town. Cream cheese is amazing though. They are a little cheap on portions of cream cheese I have to always order extra and sometimes it seems they dont add it. Fresh Orange juice. Prices are high. Over $5 for a bagel and plain cream cheese. Last time I ordered my bagel was burned almost black and they served it to me anyways. Avocados were not ripe either. If they arent ripe they shouldnt serve them anyway.

Bagel Shack is among my top 3 lunch spots to pick for a healthy bite to eat. Between their smoothies, hot or cold sandwiches or a refreshing iced coffee when Im pressed for time between work and volunteer commitments this hidden gem is a go-to!

Made our order, but realized they were missing an ingredient. Gave us two of our order to make up for it at no extra cost. Very friendly and apologetic. Sat under the heat lamps and enjoyed ourselves on their patio while we ate.

I made the mistake of giving them a second chance, but Nothing has changed since the last time I was there.22 minutes after ordering 1 smoothie I ask what happened and all they said "I dont know"When I asked for a Refund they refused to give it to me.A bunch of Pot heads that work there and have horrible customer service.

Best. Bagels. Period. Jalapeno cheese with lox/cream cheese is my guilty pleasure. I visit every week and their service is always prompt. Smiling faces too. Whats not to like?

The bagels were so delicious! I had the Old Man, asked for tomato slices, and had it made on a sun dried tomato bagel. Their lemon pepper sauce added so much flavor. The bagels are the perfect combo of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I have had bagels that are too toasty/crunchy that they end up cutting your mouth, but these were absolutely perfect. I also had the aloha berry smoothie and it made this light breakfast more filling. I recommend making a pit stop here if youre taking a Metrolink weekend trip, since it is a short 8 minute walk from the station.

We came here for the Bagel and Lox.It is soo good. Everytime we visit from Nor Cal we stop at the Bagel Shack.

Fantastic bagels. Just like NYC. Seriously good. The shmears and such are standard fare, but those bagels are top tier. Service is pleasant. Appears to always be busy for good reason.

I’m a huge fan of these bagels! Every time I’ve gone they’ve been warm and heavenly. They’ve got great spreads and even if you’re not a cream cheese person they’ve got great options. The service is pretty fast and the prices are pretty good too. Overall, I would say a good place to go for a quick, easy, and delicious breakfast!

Fairly good bagels. Pretty good parking. Friendly service. I would go there again, but I recommend they add a little more flavor to their product.

Very disappointed with this location. I was in the area and usually go to the one off El toro road and always have a great experience there. This location was a mess. 1st off, most of the staff seemed miserable and/or over the fact that they have to work. They worked very slow and seemed out of it.Also, the bagels were not made well. See my picture for the cinnamon crunch bagel. I opened this after I left and to my surprise is was doughy and not cooked, even after it was "toasted."Management, you need to either train your staff on quality (food preparation AND serviceOR work on hiring people who have pride in what they do.

This was my first visit to this location. Unfortunately, I dont think I will return to this location (definitely not if I have a limited amount of timebecause of the lack of customer service. First, the kid was somewhat taken aback when I asked him for a sample of the tuna salad. He had trouble entering my order because I asked for dry bread. Then I waited for 15 minutes for 1 of the 4 employees behind the counter to make my sandwich (Im not actually sure what the other 3 were doing). After continuing to wait, a sandwich appeared on the counter. I walked up and asked if it was mine. "Oh yes maam" was the reply. Now that my 30 minute lunch was over and I was now late getting back, I open the box to see that its NOT even my sandwich!! I tried to call the location, but the phone was busy every time I called. I would go back and try to exchange my sandwich, but they close at 2:30 and I work 8-5. Sad to say, this was one of the worst experiences. Aside from returning to lunch with a sandwich that I wouldnt eat anyway :(

Fantastic bagel. The green Chile and Cream cheese were nice added touches. Fast friendly service. As good as it gets for bagels and coffee.

Normally this place has my favorite bagels but today I ordered 2 dozen for my office and received a variety of the least popular flavors. On top of that, the cream cheese had a consistency of being frozen then defrosted. Overall, this was kind of gross and disappointing.

Great selection of bagels. They have hot and cold sandwiches. They serve Peete’s coffee. The staff is great and the service is fast.

It felt rushed to order something which is not a problem because it seems popular and of course most people are ready.I wanted to look for something specific.I ordered an Uppers.It was made sloppy. There was hardly any cheese. The meat cubes as they claim was shredded. The meat portion was low. The grilled onions had a foul taste and was green colored.There was nothing good about this pricey breakfast bagel other than the vanilla nut coffee.I did not tip their jar because I wanted to ensure a solid visit first.

We love Bagel Shack! They have excellent customer service, always friendly and attentive. The bagels and everything else are always fresh. Theyre busy at certain times during the weekends, but they handle crowds really well. They work fast and theres usually not a very long wait for your food. They have an app where you could order ahead and just pick up your food within 10 to 15 minutes. There are plenty of parking, some tables inside, and more tables outside. The tables outside are dog friendly. We frequently go here and they have never gotten our orders wrong. Always a pleasant experience here and weve been going for about 3 or 4 years now. Great locally owned business!

Went here once. Saw a girl sneeze and kept making food. Okay.Went back today to try it again. I was the only customer in here. It was not loud. I said, "cinnamon raisin, toasted, easy butter". I get my order and get to my destination, open up my box, and its a disgusting cinnamon sugar bagel with a ton of butter on it. Also got a sandwich with literally no seasoning of any kind. Delicious bread... Hopefully these people will be the first to be canned when minimum wage hits 15.

What can you say about the bagel Shack its amazing and awesome love the people there theyre fun to talk to great music. Cant forget about the bagels and all the food that they offer there which is fantastic. Im there almost every day. Beach Break Construction,
