The temple is located near the main road. It is a heritage of Singosari kingdom. There are some reliefs in the temples wall. The statues are mainly missing except an incomplete statue of the goddess Durga. There is no entrance fee. You may give tip to the keeper as you will. A standard parking fee is applied. Unfortunately, the temple suffers from vandalism.

This Sivaistic temple was erected in 7th CE under the Kanjuruhan Kingdom. The place is clean and worth to visit. However, vandalism in the temple degradates the value of the visit.

Historical site in Malang that is well mantained. It reserves the history of East Java.It is located at the Tidar Atas area of Malang town. The temple is accessible by public transport. You may take the e-hailing transportation or else you may take the public minibus, AT route, and alight at the last stop. The temple is just 3 minutes walk away from the minibus terminal.

When I came, there is no security or person in charge. Would be nice if there is place to have picnic in...

The temple located in the middle of city. It was a quite place but have a lot of history. Hope you can add the coffe shop or restaurants near this place.

Good enough. But due to the pabdenic of covid 19, this place closed. You could saw from outside the fence.

Single temple/candi in the middle of housing complex. Still in a good shape and well maintained. Good to see one of kingdom history’s proof in modern age. Recommended to visit as traveller in Malang.

This Temple is the oldest temple in Java. Also unique because it is placed between two place. The border or the capital of Malang and the regency. Also this place is so open to education, religion and cultural activities. This place is magical.

Hindus temple is located in Tumpang District, Malang

The Temple is not well maintained. I found lots of vandalism practices. Therefore, I rate "1" because of unrespectful practices.

This temple is now a place for Hindu people around Malang to celebrate Nyepi Holyday. The religious ceremony is usually held in March every year, which is also done by other Hindu people throughout Indonesian archipelago.

Early classical Javanese Hindu Temple. As one of oldest Hindu Temples in Java, it was built at Kanjuruhan Temple era. The architecture is similar with its neighbour, temples of Medang Kingdom. Presumably it was a vassal of Medang Kingdom or it is a common archutecture for Malay kingdoms at that time.

The temple and the park around it is well maintained. The temple itself is well restored, although there are still plenty of signs of vandalism.

Historical place for Hindus. However, they need to hire a guide so the tourists who want to visit here can get explanation about the temple better.

First of all, the English description of this place is terribly inaccurate-- I heard its been around since 800 or 1200, not 1920. Second of all, this place is really cool! You can really feel the history when youre there. Really beautiful site, with tons of amazing stonework and sculpture. You can climb up and enter the temple, and it looks like people still use the altar. Kind of hard to spot from the road--you kinda have to take an alley to get there. Not really sure about the parking situation, either. Theres a gorgeous mural in the lot next door, though!

The only one Temple in east java with mataram kuno style like central java temple. The Kala has only one jaw like the ones in central java
