Backyard attraction featuring 40 life-size sculptures of dinosaurs created by the property's owner.
This was an amazing experience! The time and effort put into making these creatures is incredible. So much talent, thanks for sharing it!
This was such a cool experience for both the kids and parents! The littles were giddy excited to point out all the dinosaurs along the path. This is definitely in my top 5 favorite activities to take my kids to now in the tri-cities area!
We had such a fun time visiting! We brought our 3 month old son and even being so young he was still staring and smiling at all the Dino’s! I think this is such an awesome park and we look forward to coming back when he is a little older! Thank you for allowing the public to see your awesome creations!
Love this experience with my Lil granddaughter. Really appreciate the work this place has put into there place. And it only running on donations so please be kind if you have it to give. A good way to pay your church ties.
This place is an absolute gift to the community I can’t even describe how precious it is to our children to be able to go to something that’s donation and trust based and all the countless hrs and love poured into it. A true treasure I am very grateful for
Absolutely amazing place to take your kids or grandchildren. Its ran by donations and even has a little gift shop. Its a self guided tour thru many great and small dinosaurs with lots of information about each one I highly recommend this for everyone with children!!
A unique fun stop if youre in the area! Its free but donations are appreciated. There is a small gift shop and concessions area.
My kids and my wife and I loved this. Only thing that could be said is there were quite a bit of large spiders (not counting the impressive specimen over the picnic tablesand webs built up around the gift shop and the sea creature area. That isn’t out of the ordinary though as the attraction is entirely open air.
The newer dinosaurs are especially impressive. Mad respect to the owner(sfor offering such a quality exhibit to the public
We truly enjoyed our visit! We appreciated the thought, creativity, and research that went into each part of the park. The setting was perfect and we could all imagine that the dinosaurs were alive. Great fun and a great place. Thank you for creating such an escape!
This place was so much fun!! As an adult I loved every second walking through time and seeing life-size dinosaurs!! Great day trip for the family or as a day date. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing time!! The art and the wonderful exhibits makes this walking place so awesome! Just take my money! Its a free park that accepts donations as they are a completely non profit. I cant wait for the fall to do this Halloween style. Absolutely amazing! I cant tell you how awesome this place is, and pictures cant so it justice!
This place was awesome. My 2 yr old who is so into dinosaurs lost his mind with excitement. I was so glad he could run to each one and we could go at our own pace. Admission was free but leave a donation. You wont be disappointed!
We enjoyed this very well put together and educational display of dinosaurs! I was very impressed with the signs posted detailing cool information about each dinosaur. Its free but do donate some money to help this place stay open. Will definitely come back again in the future!
This place was awesome!! Such craftsmanship in every piece! Our family enjoyed this so much!! It was free but does run on donations so please donate to keep it going :gift shop, snacks and drinks on a trust system. I recommend to anyone with children!❤️
This place is so cool and could be very educational, that is, if you can get your kids to stop long enough to read. The gift shop has expanded and has lots of neat stuff. The fact that this awesome place is free to visit is unreal. Please, if you can, though, leave a donation!
So kooool!! Wow amazing thank you for sharing your beautiful crafted skills ❤ my favorite spot was the lil fossil dig area to see the area and catch a lil breeze
Awesome place was alot of fun even on a very hot day. 98 percent is shaded so that was great and allow dogs. This place was way bigger than we was expecting great family fun go and check it out very much worth it
This place is crazy. We have family that lives close so we stopped by, but Id make the trip off the interstate now that I know its there. Great place for kids to run around and explore. This guy has put some serious time and money into a park that is surprisingly professional and educational. Its not the Smithsonian, but it is pretty impressive for a backyard project.
IT WAS A BLAST! The dinosaurs are ALL VERY DETAILED and so lifelike! ALOT of care and attention went into this place! Came all the way from Florida, and was not disappointed in the very least! They also have a gift shop, ofcourse we had to buy a few things :WILL RETURN! GREAT JOB OWNERS!!! (Yes, the donation was so worth it as well!)
We live a couple hours away and I cant believe I hadnt heard of this place before now. Definitely a little hidden gem that we were so glad we checked out. Its perfect for a hot day because your adventure through the park is pretty much all shaded. We took 6 kids that really enjoyed leading us through the trails to find all the dinosaurs. There is a cute little spot towards the back where the young kids could play and that was a nice little surprise to stumble upon as we made our way through. You can tell the owner really enjoys sharing his love for these creatures with others. They have a gift shop that was pretty neat with lots of cool toys for the kids and even a jar of dog treats for the pups. Definitely recommend you make a trip here soon!
This is one of the best hidden gems in the tri-cities! The dinosaurs are amazing, and there is so much attention to detail throughout. Its also just a wonderful place to run around all the trails. My two two-year-olds love it, and we always see both older and younger kids enjoying it when we go. Cannot recommend this place enough! Admission is donation-based.
What an absolutely perfect adventure to do with your kids. Admission IS free however you can donate what you can. I highly recommend as it appears this individual put a ton of work into making this for the public. My kids 5, 9 and 10 had a bunch of fun. Additionally, the gift shop seems to be ran on an honors system. They do take cash but also have cash app, PayPal and Venmo which was awesome but I did read reviews and brought cash anyways because I did not know they had any of the money apps. What a wonderful day we had. Many thanks to whomever took the time to make this a spot that families could enjoy for an absolutely affordable amount. 10/10.
This place was amazing! The amount of work the owners put into this place shows. My entire family loved it, kids, teens and adults! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. And donate so theyll keep it going for more people to enjoy!
This was a nice place to bring the kids to. They really enjoyed it. Its not often you see things on the trust system but this is one of them in the snack area and gift shop. Admission is free but asks for donations to keep the place running so I think thats understandable and should be expected. There are very large dinosaurs there and its larger than it appears from the outside.
My grandchildren and I have been visiting here for years. They look forward to going back to see what is new. It is amazing what the owner has done. The dinosaurs are just awesome. I would recommend it to anyone with children. It is wonderful. Thank you for doing this for our children.
Took my two year old there and he loved it!! What a wonderful idea!
This was a fun and educational trail with a lot of areas to explore for different types of dinosaurs and periods. This was fun for both kids and adults.
This place is awesome, truly a labor of love! My toddler loved it, the dogs seemed to enjoy their time there, and I was truly impressed with the imagination and craftsmanship that went into building this place. Be forewarned, there is a considerable amount of poison ivy and mosquitoes around at least in the summer.
Its free the kids loved it so much work has been done for anyone to come and enjoy this place
I had no idea what to expect before checking this place out. I only knew of its existence from having read about the legal issues a while back. Figured Id take my two year olds and give it a shot. And wow! I might have had more fun than they did! I hate that the county has given you such a hard time, I can tell youve really put your heart and soul into this project. I hope other visitors can see this too and keep the donations coming. We easily spent a couple hours here and although my sons arent old enough to read the names and information at each dinosaur, they still loved looking at everything and the little play area. Thank you for providing this attraction to our area, especially while only running on donations. My personal favorite was the little popcorn fight right at the very end. Some notes for any first-time visitors: strollers are completely doable if youre reasonably able-bodied (at least a single, not sure if a side by side could fit on some of the wooden pathsbut some places are quite steep or very bumpy from large buried rocks or exposed tree roots. Most of the displays and signs are within reach from the trail so be mindful of letting your children grab and touch so it will continue to be around for everyone to enjoy. There are several little interactive displays and learning activities for younger children, theres more to this place than just statues of dinosaurs!
We were just looking for something different to enjoy on our road trip, when we found this we drove a bit out of our way, but were so happy we did! Even in 30 degree weather with snow on the ground it was cute and so much fun! We will be coming back when its warmer!
What a cool stop! We walk-through at night using our cell phones as flashlights and I think it was even cooler. What an adventure!
Free fun in the area is always great… this was an interesting walk! Definitely had some Dinos to see. Give it a try, even if only once. 🦕 🦖
This place is awesome! Donation requested, so the price is exactly what you think it should be. There is a lot of dinos to see and lots of things to play with for little kids. The information boards were very well done. We loved our visit. I wish they had a souvenir magnet, but maybe they will carry them at some point. We would recommend checking this place out.
We visited early last week and were so wonderfully surprised! The dinosaurs fill the trails through the woods and are really impressive. Educational and so much fun, were recommending it to anyone visiting the area. Cant wait to go back! Love that we could take our dog. Entry is a donation & well worth supporting :)
For free entry you truly cant complain about this! Its rather amazing and it looks homemade which is even cooler. Very cool and the kids, and ourselves loved it!
Good place to visit. Guy makes most of this stuff and they are in his backyard. They sell some snacks I believe on weekends and have a gift shop. All proceeds go to the host. Its free.
Very, very well done!! I was impressed with the way this turned out. The kids absolutely loved it!! I have a 7 and a 5 year old that went today. Free admission, but they take donations to support the park. Lots of shaded areas, in the woods, and bring bug spray! I cant wait to go back again! Great way to spend the afternoon!
What a hidden treasure! Needed something to do with 4 bored boys while we were out of town. My youngest has mobility issues so we really didn’t want to get into anything with too much walking. I found this place and thought this might be perfect. Truly impressed with the artistry and my kids (even the 13 year oldwere amazed.
Vacationing from Wisconsin and we had to check this place out. Now I’m in my 40’s and we didn’t have any kids with, but that didn’t stop us from stopping. It’s fun for all ages. I will admit it was like 91 today so that was the only downfall, but we did it anyway. I wish I would have brought more smaller bills. I was going to get a pin from the gift shop 😩, but I will survive. I have the memories to last me a lifetime. We enjoyed ourselves. And of course I had to do the geocaching adventure lab while I was in there.
This place is DEFINITELY worth a visit!! It has such an authentic feel to it that is astounding, but you may want to bring bug spray. We stopped by on a whim and we were so glad we did. The entire experience is much larger than you would think, super kid friendly, very well maintained and has expert craftsmanship. It may be just a backyard exhibit, but its HUGE and is much better than many of the others Ive visited over the years....and for the price, you cant beat it! The entire family enjoyed it and we look forward to coming back again! This would be a great place to pack a lunch and plan a day/afternoon trip to, as they even have a picnic area and bathroom facilities. With ample shade and tree coverage on all the trails, it keeps the facility at a very comfortable temperature, even in the middle of summer, and even though it started to rain while we were there, we were able to stay remarkably dry. Im super thankful to the owners and creators of this place for offering it up to the public to enjoy, like they have.We cant wait to come back again!
Still love this hidden treasure. Donations are welcomed. Both times have been isolated enough to not feel abandoned, but free. This time there were prices (reasonablein the gift shop based on an honor system. The only, very small complaint would be the mechanical dinosaurs werent working, at either location. Still a wonderful backyard treasure for Bluff City, TN. A great place to make the kiddos feel like weve taken a trip but quick enough to not take the entire day! Favorite place locally to go!
My daughter really enjoyed it! There no admission , but theres A box for donations.Be sure to bring some small bills theres a gift shop that is run on the honor system
I am from Michigan in Tennessee taking care of some things from my mom passing away just recently and searched up fun things to do in the area and came across Backyard Terrors and Dinasaur Park. My boyfriend, son, and I decided to visit today. We were absolutely impressed with the layout of the park and extremely impressed with the various amounts of Dinosaurs. Definitely will visit again the next time we are in the area :thanks guys for the amazing experience
Dude. Just moved to the Tri Cities area and was looking for something to do on a lazy afternoon. We have a toddler and figured we would give this place a shot and wow. I was amazed at every turn and my son had a great time. The quality of the Dinosaurs and activities available in such a beautiful setting made for one what I am sure is going to be one of the fondest memories of my family ( specifically my son whose aunt taught him to roar at the dinosaurs). I strongly recommend this place for kids or dates or just a weird walk.
If you want to support an AMAZING family-fun experience with a great back story, then I highly recommend this place (its free but please consider donating to support the creation of new dinos.Lots for the little ones to do, and very entertaining for the adults. I loved all the little jokes and references to a certain dinosaur themed franchise 🦕🦖 We will be back to visit for the Halloween event and the mythical creatures!
I was pleasantly surprised by the property size and the dinosaur craftsmanship is dino-mite! A hidden treasure that is certainly worth the visit. It was pretty inspiring that some folks just decided to construct enormous dinosaurs for mere passion/enjoyment. That shows and was appreciated. Donation-based trip that also has a small gift shop and snack station. Feel free to pack a picnic and would recommend wearing comfortable shoes - gravel and rock foot paths. Thank you for a prehistoric adventure that makes history!
Very cool place! It doesnt look like much when you drive up, but this Dinosaur Park is something to see and it is on donation only . . . meaning its FREE (but I do suggest putting a little something in the donation box There are ALOT of dinosaurs to see and information about all of them. There has been time and $$$ spent here and it is worth a visit if you are in the area, with or without kids :-)
Such a wonderful find! Never expected it to be so elaborate and cool. My 5 year old daughter loved it! Its totally free, but we wrote our family name in the book and left a small donation. I cant believe I didnt know about this place until recently but I highly recommend it.
