Either closed or impossible to find. Weird.

It was defently the best meal we had in portugal.The food was authentic, the staff were super friendly , polite and accommodating.our trip would not be completed without the lunch we had in this hidden gem..

Empty space in a Sunday afternoon, but somehow, the owner made the time spent there worth it. Food? Go try it, way better than the posh places where you pay too much for what you get. Oh, and its right next to Museum of Discoveries which is a great place to go.

They food was bland, I ordered the Turkish Burger & guac with chips.The patty was great, but literally everything else was absolutely bland.

We came to this restaurant as my partner loves burgers and I love seafood so we thought this restaurant would be perfect. Once we got there and looked at the menu there was no mussels on the menu at all, only one dish of prawns in the starters.I asked the waitress if they had any mussels and she said no, we do not serve mussels anymore. I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to having some coconut curry mussels. We ended up not eating here and left. I think the name of the restaurant is misleading and should be changed to a this problem for other customers.One thing to point out the burgers are made with Veal meat.

Nice place with decent burgers. The beer selection was a bit limited and warm. Nice tucked away location so better to go there before the sun goes down.

Great place to visit in Porto and nice food and friendly staff

The place is cozy and rustic. Ive been there 2 times, 2 years apart. Ive decided to give it a second chance since I was disappointed the first time and it looked like the place had gotten better by the new photos and reviews. Unfortunately that was not the case... The burguers are just OK, the meat could use a little more seasoning and a little less cooking, since it was too dry, I advise the Quattro Fromaggi because all the different cheeses help with the seasoning, the ones with less ingredients such as the turkey one are a bit bland. One thing that I cant forgive is the frozen chips, a good burguer deserves authentic artisenal potatoes, every other burguer joint gets at least this right.As for the attendance, no complaints at all, food took 10 minutes to come and the waitress was very nice.Not a bad place but Ive definitely had better burguers in other places in Porto.

Great spot. Open early (we tried a couple other spots that were closedbut empty since we were early for supper. Server was attentive, burgers were delicious! I had the one with goat cheese and it was excellent. Construction beside it makes it hard to spot, but there is a sign that helps, it is there!

Very nice but empty place. Mrs. owner was very nervous. We ordered shot but not succesfull. Very good red port wine sangria.

Was here 2 years ago and loved it. Busier this afternoon (which is a great sign for their business!and still awesome. Great burgers and Portuguese craft beers. A hidden hangout!

After waiting 35 minutes for just a drink we left. Locals had arrived after us and already finished their burgers and still we had no drink. They seemed ofended that we did not order food immediately and just a drink?Perhaps they do not like tourists?

They tried, good value for money and nice drinks. But all our burgers were really tasteless, as if not spiced at all. Also dry/too little sauce on the burgers (we had 4 different ones and all agreed on this).

After 1h30 of waiting, the waitress was lying to us : " yiir order is coming", " 5 minutes", " you are just after this table!"30min later the cook said us that our order was lost.I do not recommend.

Nice cool place to sit under the stone arches, just outside the tourist centre. Worth the extra walk to save some money and get some peace and quiet. Excellent burgers and very attentive service.

A real gem, off the beaten track but well worth the effort to find, away from the crowds on the waterfront. My husband had the traditional Portuguese mussels and I had a delicious prawn dish. Both were delicious and filling. The burgers ordered by other diners looked good and the menu was very appealing. The outdoor seating was not crowded together like the riverfront, was and the staff were genuinely helpful and welcoming. A special thanks to Joao and Christina for making our visit special. This is a place to put a smile on your face and your stomach.

Different in that there were lots of mussel and beer options on the menu. Ribs and burger were delicious. Side dishes of chips/salad werent very inspiring. Attention correct.

Great place with fine burgers and ribs. Has lots of space, some Portuguese craft draft beers and some botteled craft beers. Seems to have lots of space but feels very cozy.

Nice place, not so expensive. I recommend Francesina Burger, one of more interesting I ever saw. Unfortunately didnt took a picture.

Small restaurant close to Ribeira. It has an original menu with burgers, mussels and pork ribs. We tried a burger of the house and the BBQ ribs. The food was good, nothing very exceptional but good. The quantities were also correct. The burger was classic. The ribs are more original and difficult to find in Porto. The meat was falling of the bones, but the taste of the sauce was a bit overpowering the meat. For these two dishes, water and a beer, we paid 29€. It is reasonable for the area. The service was ok.

Very nice burgers, large so dont order the double of youre not hungry! BBQ sauce very nice. Also had an amazing strawberry cheesecake for dessert. Nice relaxed place for a light bite.

Great burgers! I had a rib burger which was amazing, nice staff and a nice place to eat, would definitely cone back, good choice on the menu aswell and has an English menu which is helpful.

Nice place, an old rock building, sort of catacomb full of charm. Very attentive and nice staff. Good burgers. Definitely a good outing!

Great Mussels. Good burger ..but i expected far more than cold bun and overfried french Fries.Btw great idea with apple inside 😉

Amazing mussels. They were spicy and worked well with fries. The buffalo wings were really good. They were crispy and juicy.I liked the staff and owner as well. Very fun to talk to and very friendly. Great service!I recommend this place. Especially when you want to try something different and very well made.

We had burgers, they were both delicious. Good value for money and friendly service. Has a nice atmosphere too with stone walls and arches. Craft beers on the menu were tasty too, and they had nice espresso for 0.80

Good food and delicious home made desserts. Friendly English speaking staff went out of their way to make our experience very pleasant. Highly recommended!!!*****

The food was very good, tho a bit expensive. Best thing about the place was the waiter who was super helpful and friendly, yet not at all obtrusive. Probably for tourists but I would not hesitate to come back.

Weve been there last year 2 times. The food was amazing! Atmosphere was like at home with best friends. If our stayd be longer wed be there more times. 10 stars out 5 possible. ❤️

4 stars for a great bar and hidden away cosy place however it loses a star as the burger was not great. Tasteless beef and very average overall. I eat a lot of burgers too.

We found Backson’s by chance and were positively surprised by the high quality of the food and the great service. We had beef and veggie burgers, both amazing! The place is off the touristy paths but it’s totally worth it the walk.

Super restaurant with a fine selection of artisan burgers in a stone arched room. Chatty and genial member of staff waiting on tables, but with only one person serving, service was a little slow at times. Well worth seeking this place out.

Nice location just outside the centre, funny advertising signs, English speaking service and the food taste really good! Don’t hesitate, but grab a burger and a beer.

relaxed , tucked away burger restaurant . Daughter had burger which she was very happy with . Rest of us had snacks - chicken wings , fried mussels ( scampi like and nachos with guacamole ( fresh avocado used 👍. Good wine but pricey cw rest of Porto .

Great delicious burgers for a good price. Seating inside looks nice and the service is friendly. One of the best meals that we had in our week in Porto and even nicely priced!

Great mussels and staff was friendly and helpful.

The restaurant room is very cool, built among old-style Porto stone columns. The burgers are delicious, the staff is super nice, and their spicy hot wings are to die for. Special mention to the english cheesecake they have - try it if you can.

Stopped by for a casual lunch of mussels and craft beer. Was absolutely fantastic. Really good friendly atmosphere and excellent home cooked food. Would definitely recommend it

Very tasty mussels, quite big choice of local kraft beers in reasonable prices :-and what is also very important really friendly service. Its a good place to have lunch when you stay in Porto.

I had ribs which were lovely and tender and very enjoyable. My husband had a burger which he said was up there with the best! Very enjoyable couple of hours! Well done:)
