Awesome hostel in a beautiful city. The rooms were clean and good price. Shared bathrooms were private rooms with a shower and toilet. Has an equipped kitchen. A clean and modern hostel. Helpful staff. All in all great stay. 10 minute bus from the center station.

Best place to stay in Luzern. Room and washroom are very clean and spacious. Central station is only 1km away and supermarket is around 500m. There is a small beach right outside the hostel where you can take a dip in the lake.

One of the best stays I have ever experienced!I have stayed in over 20 hostels all over the world and have never seen one as good as this one. The rooms were large and clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of private showers and toilets just across the hall from each room. The kitchen was large andclean. Although we did not cook any meals there (only had breakfastit appeared to have all the utensils you’d need. Drinks are easily purchased at the bar.Perhaps the best aspect was the personnel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The communication and check in was fast, detailed, and friendly. We rented a few SUPs from the hostel to explore the lake, which you can enter from just across the road. The whole experience, including the rental was amazing, and at more than fair prices. We had 4 children with us and they all loved it as much as we did. Comes with free wifi and a bus pass too!I would absolutely recommend this backpackers to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lucern, looking for a quiet yet amicable environment. Great value at a great price too. If you are a bit worried about staying in a hostel for your first time, this one is definitely the one to do it at, but seasoned backpackers will enjoy it just as much.Thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

One of the best stays I’ve had. The host was very caring and flexible with chekin checkout times. The rooms were clean and importantly the bathrooms were very clean. Definitely recommended!

Stayed here since it was in the perfect midway point between two hikes I wanted to do and to cut down on the travel time. It was during the week and I still had to work remotely and during USA hours.The room was pretty hot but very clean. There were quite a lot of bugs given the season and the nature in the area. The facilities were very clean too! I stayed 2 nights and somehow their system assigned me 2 separate cards for wifi but I only received one. The receptionist was able to help me out by changing the dates and printing it out for me; a minor inconvenience.The location is pretty convenient as its a short walk from the main station and its right by the beach and park. Theres a supermarket nearby and some places to get food too. You can take a bus from the main train station too but seemed like it was about the same amount of time anyways so I always walked.

The hostel is very clean and well organised, did not like that there are no 24 hour reception, arrivals early morning before 8:30 is a problem

A very nice and lovey youth hotel in a calm zone deserved by 3 bus lines. Well clean and with the right gears. You can rent towels for 1f if you need them.

We stayed in a spacious double room with balcony.They offer a free local day travel pass during your stay.Around 15 mins walk away from the train station and 5 mins away from Lake Lucerne.Plenty of shared bathrooms and toilets.We could check out early in morning by dropping the keys in the drop box.Two well equipped, shared kitchens with refrigerator, oven, cook tops and utensils.A perfect budget stay which saves you money on local travel (due to free day passand food (kitchen).

Nice location, but too many bugs and flies in the common area.

The hostel is so nice. Close to everything. 30 seconds from the water and near walk to the train station. The owners have made a really cute welcoming space. They are super nice and friendly. Worth every penny, I only wish I could stay longer but they were fully booked.

Really adorable, quaint hostel! The bathrooms were so clean and the rooms as well. I loved the decorations and access to balconies, it was such a nice experience to also be so close to the centre. The pillows could be a bit better but the beds were comfy ☺️

The place is decent enough, but for the price you are paying... They give you a bedsheet to wrap around yourself at night - the actual sheets are probably not washed between customers. The table in the room was dirty. Curtains not very thick. Alright for a random hostel, but for this price you could sleep in the center of Luzern with decent service.

Fabulous hostel, great value for money, extremely clean and hygienic just how i like it.Very few people when I visited so couldnt meet a lot of people but the staff was great and accommodating to a lot of requests.And clean beds and fresh mattresses along with beautiful interiors.Go ahead and book without second thoughts.

Awesome hostle if you could call it that because this place os nicer than any hostle I have ever been at. It very clean, modern, well kept, outfitted with everything anyone could need. Great kitchens, yes there ar two separate kitchens you can use. Great location, view and I received top notch service from all who work there. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. You wont be disappointed.

Its really near to the train station. It has 2 well equipped kitchen and lots of bathroom. The hosts were really helpful, kind and available.

Great Hostel. Just stayed for a very short time. Staff that checked me in even offered to lend me an umbrella cause it was raining. Super clean toilets and had the room to myself maybe cause it was midweek. Bed was comfortable and they had euro sockets in case you don’t have a Swiss outlet. A bus ride and a short walk to get here. RoomThey also Swiss pocket knives at a pretty good price.

Good location, less than 15 min walk to the city center, rooms are well furnished, showers/bathrooms are clean. Great common room, with awesome decoration, where you can just hang out + a bar to get some drinks. Staff is 10/10.You wont make a mistake booking a stay here.

Really nice place to stay at Lucerne. Very friendly girl from reception. Really clean. They can give you some discounts for attractions and free access to wi fi (almost everywhere in old townand free buses. Definitely recommend it 👍

Super friendly en helpful staff. Minimal and good looking rooms and shared spaces. Everything well maintained and clean. All together one of my favorite hostels I’ve ever been.

Great location & friendly service but not otherwise a great value. Narrow check out time & rooms are pretty basic and lacking user-friendly touches for a more expensive hostel.

Host was really cool; very warm and welcoming. Hostel rooms and bathrooms are pretty modern and clean. Decent location, about 20 min walk from the local station.

Nice and clean area. The room is spacious and you have a nice view of the lake. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite. The common rooms have anything and feels cozy.There are also options to clean your laundry and rent towels.Everything is simple and if there are questions the staff dont mind answering them.I also love their lock system of the rooms :)Keep in mind that you only have wifi for 1 hour, since it is arranged via Swisscom.Also it is a 15 minutes walk from Luzern Station.If both arent a problem, I would recommend backpackers Luzern :)

Wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable room. Location wise is perfect, beautiful walk to town. In front of it is a beautiful lake and beach to chill and hang out. There are 2 kitchens which fully equipped with utensils, all well mentained. The reception is friendly and kinda helpful.

I stayed for two nights while visiting Luzern, and I have to say its probably the cheap option in town. The hostel is pretty good. Its cool, clean and the staff are great. Well located, only 15 min walk from the main station and beginning of the city centre. I stayed in a two bedroom room and it was spacious, clean and even had lockers. It has a good kitchen and common area as well to hang out. I would stay here again given the mad prices in Switzerland! Would recommend it.

Friendly staff, great location (10 minute walk at most from Lucerne cityand nice clean rooms. Two kitchens are both a little small, but have everything you will need. Common areas are decorated nicely with books and games also. Thanks!

Clean rooms and bathroom. Check in/out was easy process and staff were nice. Free Lucerne card makes travel into city easy from the nearby bus station. A good idea to carry mosquito repellent and close windows at night which is less a problem during cooler times.

Truly a hostel so don’t expect much. Provided us each with a clean bedsheet and pillow cover. However, the blanket was smelly and seemed like it hadn’t been washed in ages. Washrooms were very clean though. Towels can be loaned for 1 Swiss franc. Two of us stayed in a shared 4-bed dormitory. Four lockers are present in the room, one for each occupant. Smooth check-in. Provide you with a visitor pass that can used to take free bus trips on some routes in the city. Location is not bad - 10-15 min walk from the Lucerne train station.

Amazing hostel, I was a single traveler staying for a night. I was in a 4 bed room and had a cute patio. The receptionist was so nice and sweet at the front desk and gave me directions and everything. The rooms have lockers and little cubbies too. The beds were comfortable and the showers and toilets were always clean. The location walk is along the lake and right across from a beach. I 100% recommend for a cheap and great stay. It’s also right by the main train station.

Super friendly reception, very clean facilities and nice location just steps from a cute park with swimming beach on the lake and only 4 stops from the bus station (transit is free)! I enjoyed having a balcony as well. Good wifi. I would happily stay here again!

As far as hostels go, this is pretty decent. Rather clean, decent rooms, and a pretty awesome lounge and communal area, with board games and books and foosball. Our only complaint is about bugs, hence the three stars. Our room was very hot in the summer, and there are no fans or any air circulation in the rooms. However, if you open the window the mosquitos will come flooding in. We spent a good hour in the middle of the night killing them. I know its a hostel, but with the amount of people going in and out and the price, I would think a fan wouldnt be too much to ask for. Or put a screen on the windows.

We stayed here for just one night. The location is right next to the lake Lucerne and a beach(!and a park. It is a few minutes bus ride from the old center and the train station but you get a free travel card for travelling by bus to the city center. These buses are very frequent so theres not much time lost commuting to the center. The staff at the hostel were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen was adequate and you can cook whatever you want, provided you bring the ingredients and have the time! Our room had a nice balcony. The only downside was that sometime the corridors smelled like cigarette smoke even though there are no smoking signs everywhere.

Very clean, quiet, and nice. About 10 minute walk into town and the train station. Also, across the street from a bunch of parks with beaches, food trucks, and different events in the summer. Staff was nice but they will be short with you if you are loud and dont read the signs in the lobby. Overall great experience.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. It was pretty quiet for the most part, and there are 2 kitchen areas. Its walking distance to everything and about 15-20 minutes from the train station.

Stayed in double room and room was big enough for couple of nights and clean. They even offered small child cot for infant. Staff was very helpful. Shared kitchen was big enough, but most of the time busy as lot of people were preparing food. Bathroom and toilet was clean. You can buy few items like milk, yogurt etc in the reception. Bus stop is around 5 to 7 minute walk from hostel. I felt bit far from Central location even though you can walk.

One of the best hostels I have ever been to. Is nice and clean. Hostel staff is very friendly and helpful. Location wise its a bit far from Lucerne Bahnhof. Overall the best you can get. Book in advance as it is always booked.

i booked 2 bed in share room for 4, but then they gived us 2 bed in private room for 2. we are lucky. small kitchen but there are 2 kitchen there. with spacious dining room. near to lake with nice view. near to train station and bus stop.

I stayed at this place for over a week and loved it! The location is great, it is right next to the lake, a beach and a little retro trailer bar is 5 minutes walk away and it is close to the city center. The room is adequate and the washrooms were clean. The guys who work there are very nice and helpful and they look really cute when they clean the kitchen and do other domestic things about the place which they always seem to be doing lol. I hope the one with the missing cat who has the nicest way of speaking and great dedication to his job has been reunited with Sheba. The only bad point for me was the sourly cleaner who made me feel like I was about to be scolded. I mean I didnt see a sign that I should remove my presence when she came to clean in the morning especially since I was on vacation and wanted to sleep in late! Overall, I highly recommend this place, it is affordable (for Switzerland), clean, being next to the lake is quiet and a bit romantic, it is very close to the main part of the city and the best part is the people who work there (except for the cleaner).They are absolutely lovely and will make you feel at home and will even wash your clothes too for a fee of course so you can spend maximum time exploring Lucerne, Interlaken etc.

You can feel at home in this place. The guy at the office was SUPER nice and he spoke English fluently. The kitchen is big enough and the WC and showers are clean. Also you have a lake (which looks beautiful at nightnext to this place. Loved it

Staff was super friendly. Location was easy to access. Had a park access and very close to the station.rooms were clean and good, Higher end of hostel in maintainance, almost like a hotel.we were even given free bus pass to go around during our stay. Highly recommended .

Very nice stuff. In low season they gave me the room before the usual check in. Very helpful they assist you with everything they can. The rooms are very clan and comfortable. I slept in better beds but for the price its still good. For me if you are not there for business the best option in town.Thank you for everything.

Located near parks and train station. Very busy and filled to capacity during our stay. Was pretty noisy during the night down the hall. Staff was helpful. Plenty of facilities available, showers were decent.

Stayed for couple of nights and had a very good experience. The Reception person Marcus was very helpful and allowed us to keep our luggage prior check in, we even got the room by 2 pm.Kitchen and rooms were clean and good with basic amenities. Has a wonderful stay at this hostel, will definitely stay here if I visit Luzern in future.
