Beautiful place to walk up and over, fish, gaze at the wonderful stingrays (in high tide), swim (in low tide- and anytime picnic, thanks to its covered seats and tables! 🌞☂️

Beautiful little spot to swim. Its very calm with a cafe close by to grab a bite or coffee.

This was an awesome spot. So great for the kids.Calm beautiful water and stunning views.The tide goes in and out so be aware if the time.There are toilets on site and a good car park area.You can jump off the bridge, its super high approx. 8 to 10m. Way too high for me but the teenagers LOVED IT.Highly recommend to check this out if you are in South West Rocks area 💙💙💙🌴🌴🌴☀️☀️☀️

Great fishing and kayaking spot. Only gripe was that there was nowhere close to clean a fish.

It creates a lovely little circuit over to the beach and back around again if you like your walks on the beach. Would be the best holiday beach location for the family.Great swimming area.Fishing.Beaches either side of the creek.Toilets.Paddleboard hire.Caravan Park.Plenty of shops.

beautiful clean turquoise water, plenty of parking nearby and gets pretty busy on a nice summer afternoon. calm waters and plenty of shallow areas so it’d be good for little kids and people who can’t swim!there’s a cafe nearby too so you could eat and swim and spend a whole day here relaxingawesome place to jump off into the water in the deeper section, just remember to check the water depth and for boats before you send it! and don’t forget to take off your sunglasses before you jump, unlike me ;)

It was incredible good, the water was crystal clear, and the bridge was super fun and high to jump off, the only thing I would suggest is to wear shoes on the bridge as it is grated and hurt my feet for a few days afterwards

Easy access, plenty of fish in clear water. Dont drink the water but.. bit salty

Love this place we call home. Very popular 80% of the time the water is a vibrant clear green with shades of blue. Great for little ones and big ones. The foot bridge makes this beautiful creek accessible to all. It has wheel chair access to the water, and clean amenities. Covered picnic table and also uncovered picnic tables. Grassed area to lay a picnic blankets.

Beautiful spot. Kids love jumping off the bridge, our dogs lived swimming here too. Plenty of watersport options including fishing.

Beautiful creek with something for everyone including the littlies. Downside is not alot of shade on the banks and there should be warning sign when the tide / Creek recedes that the deeper water channel (where people jump off the bridgeruns REALLY fast - so if youre not a strong swimmer or a little person, you will get swept along which can be scary if youre not expecting it

Very good for kids and non swimmers as it is calm and very shallow except for a small channel which is good for fishing.

New Bridge to access Creek and Beach areas from town. nice walk to river mouth along unpopulated beach

Great view. Cant jump off the bridge into water anymore. There are signs prohibiting it.

Beautiful area . The bridge is new , the old one had more .. character. Hopefully they tried to save it before replacing it with this one .

BackCreek Bridge ,we had a fantastic morning swimming , jumping ,snorkeling in the clearest cleanest water .The old bridge needs to be dismantled as soon as possible as it is in poor condition and the young ones are climbing over the no entry ⛔️ barriers,hate to see anyone hurt .

It’s a credit to Kempsey Shire Council that the Back Creek Bridge has been rebuilt in a way that allows the community to continue enjoying jumping off the bridge, but in a safer way. Well done and thank you.

Very fun place, you can jump off the bridge too, but check the depth first! (If you jump to the right, when you look at the bridge from the parking you should be fine, but always check it yourself!)Sadly the bridge is closed now, as far as I know and you can only jump if you climb over the barrier.

Great views and fun for all the family. Best to visit in quiet times of the day to avoid large crowds

Such a beautiful and relaxing place. Perfect for kids because the water is quite shallow and still. There are always quite a few dogs having a splash around too, which is always fun to watch. Make sure you bring a flaotie!

An interesting bridge across the estuary. There is a great pontoon attached to the bridge that is Good for swimming off.The bridge Leeds to a great Beach that is good for swimming as well. The bridge and surrounds is a gem a short walk from town and the holiday Parks.

Back creek has some amazing fishing at the right tides with a footbridge to beach access canoe and kayak fishing friendly and safe sandy kid friendly swimming

This has been a favourite for the kids these holidays. It is a wonderful place for fishing, paddling and playing in the sand. Thrill seekers enjoy jumping off the bridge and the more passive can laze about in the shallow waters.
