Must go. Cheap food, wine and fun, lively experience. There was a line of locals and tourists waiting for .80€ wine and €1 paninos. Both are of pretty solid quality. You may have to wait but worth it. Go outside to a standing barrel and enjoy with locals on the canal. Stop by for 10 minutes and a few euros.

Great food and wine for very low prices, and the workers are very friendly, despite being super busy. The only criticism I have is that their Malbec wasnt my favorite, but at 1€ a glass, I wont complain ;)

Lovely traditional place with amazing prices the typical place the locals come, good small traditional sandwiches and good wines, if you want sun go in the afternoon.

Best to go before midday because it will be full of people and risk to not find food.. I arrived once at 13 and after waiting 20min food were finishedStill super tasty the red wine

The most unique and friendly bar in Venice. They sell small glass of wine and small tapas for around 1 euro, and the quality is really good. I loved the good vibes of the place and the guys working there, so ended drinking a few glasses of local wine and eating some tapas. I must confess that after I enjoyed more the canals of Venice.If you like to get lost in Venice and enjoy the tru spirit of the city, visit Bacareto da Lele, you will love it.

The best place for a quick food and drink. There is a reason why even the locals are standing in line to eat here every day!

Best wine bar in Venice. Expect long ques as you cannot beat the prices and authentic products. From Select Sprit, Refosco wine to local Salame. Cannot recommend this place enough. Is cash friendly but you can also pay with card. Also is excellently beautifully located by the canal with gondolas passing by, operates over 50 years! Bellisimo!

I was treated here so poorly that I still think about it sometimes. Knowing basic manners is more important than knowing local customs, would you not think?

Such yummy yummy Bacareto! Lots of different types of wines, and some beers and different spritzers and alcohols you can try. Yummy yummy mini sandwiches but they are a bit bigger in size!! A nice place to try and very inexpensive for traditional bacareto.Staff are really lovely and and speak italiano and English!

A hidden gem at the entrance of Venice!This is my favourite spot for a quick drink and snack before visiting the city

Off the train, grab a nice lavender gelato then stumble across this gem. We werent even hungry but who could say no to a cute little ciccetti. Everything was so fresh and it was the best way we could try a few typical wines of the area at such a reasonable price. We sat along the canal and chatted away with one of their usuals who spoke a very little English as we tried to put together the little Italian/French/Spanish each of us knew. Great dine, marvelous experience.

Phenomenal small sandwiches/paninis and wine. Prices, atmosphere and location are great. It really feels like a busy local place. Definitely a must in Venice imo

Great atmosphere, incredible experience. There were many drunk locals, but they were fun and harmless. Spritz was easy and great, wine was not bad for its price too. And finally - prices! Incredibly low for Venice. I am absolutely happy to find this little place. Totally would recommend!

Cheap drinks , good service but they ran out of food at 1:45 and we had been waiting in the queue for 40 mins. In my opinion if they close at 2 on Saturdays they should serve food until 2 especially when I saw they were making more paninis in the kitchen, probably for the next day…

This place is an amazing find! So cheap for the food n wine! Especially in a place like Venice! The wine was 80cents a glass - choice of sweet or dry wine. The glasses are small but still good value. Meat and cheese and crackers was €1.60 - cant go wrong! They take cash and card here. Definitely worth a stop here!

If you want to start the day in Venice the best way this is the right place. Cicchetti for 1€, wine for 0.8-1€, great service and amazing atmosphere.

If you want to feel spirit if Venice, you have to go there. Super atmosphere place, unbelievable, but its works 53 years! Super cheap drinks and food. Will come here for sure next time in Venice - to feel like locals.Bravo, guys!

This is a local bar that’s open in the morning til about 8ish in the evening. It was recommended to us and seemed popular among the locals so we visited. Like many aperitif bars in Venice, there is no sitting. However, this place is more like a takeout place where you get your drink and small sandwiches to go (drink someplace else).Unless you want a totally local experience, this is not the place to grab an aperitif after a long day of walking and sightseeing

Very cosy little place to get wine and some snacks (aperetivoin Venice, close to the station. The position is very good. You can enjoy the beautiful view on the canal or on the church

Under a € for a glass of wine! Tasty beer served basically in the street! There are some cool steps just by the side too which you can chill on like the hipster you are.

I had to make my way to this little spot since I had heard so much about it. This bar literally made it to any local Venice persons blog/recommendation. So when you are on a little bar crawl, add this one.When me boyfriend and I arrived here it was packed ! It’s literally I tiny spot with a counter. You don’t eat or drink inside. You go to the counter, order, pay, then head outside. There’s are small tables to stand at. It is along the canal so you can easily sit right on the ground near the canal.The menu is directly on the wall with glasses of wine for $.70. This is definitely the cheapest place you are going to find ! They also have different little sandwiches to snack on for $1.This is a mix of tourist and locals. The best part was that even though it was busy, they are fast ! I’m glad we got to stop in.

This is where you can find the local Venetians, standing in the street side, drinking cheap wine & eating great little sandwiches all day long.Watch out for the birds, they also heard the sandwiches roomer.

Our friend Megan who studied in Venice let us know this is where you can get 1 euro glasses of Wine and sit to enjoy your surroundings. We were not disappointed

How anyone can give this less than 5* I don’t know, €0.60 wine 🤯 game changer of a bar in an amazing location, tried every wine 🍷 and all were fantastic, unfortunately no €1 sandwiches left when we arrived at 13:00 on a Saturday, cheese, meat and breadstick platter for €1.60, will be back Monday for sure!

Escape the main tourist areas (and not by muchand sit by the Canal drinking a glass of beer, grappa or wine at great prices, felt like I was in a real part of Venice. The hors doeuvre are genuinely the best I’ve ever had and only €1

This place is right next to an university campus and at around 4pm it’s buzzing with locals. Great atmosphere, drinks are pretty cheap! Recommend the spritz. We felt fully immersed into Venetian life away from the tourist traps.

Cheapest drinks in the city! €1.50 for an aperol spritz. On a sunny day you can sit by the canal and watch life go by. Lovely local vibe with old Italian men gesticulating and chatting animatedly :)

Hidden gem of Venice, unspoilt by tourists (so far), an excellent buzz and stopping point for lunch or an aperitivo... so simple and amazing.€5.50 for a wine, beer and two plates of ham, cheese and and bread sticks.

Mini sandwiches for 1€ each. And they are delicious. What more can you want?? Lol. Ive gotten 2 sandwiches for breakfast and was perfectly content. Breakfast for 2€ is a pretty good deal to me. They also have a selection of wine for under 1€ for each glass. The place is also really close to the bus/train station. Definitely come here if youre stopping by Venice.

Cheap wine (less than 1 euroand cheese/cheap snack (less than 2 euro). Really really popular with the uni students crowd! Great to visit if you wanna relive that student life.
