A stunning garden with an incredible view.

One of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen in my life. Starting from the top, the sea view through the garden is amazing. The grounds are immaculately kept and everything is so pristine. Learning about the Baha’i religion and it’s inclusiveness was also really interesting.

Cool place! Very beautiful reviews. Its kind of stupid they dont let you walk through the whole thing. I dont really understand why, they said it is because they do not want people to trash it. I do not really think that would be the case, they should consider opening more of it up to the Public.

Its beautiful and all but note you need to book a tour if you want to go through the garden.Without one you can only visit 2 first floors from either side (free of charge)

If you’re visiting, there are some things you should know. It’s only open between 9am and 12 noon, the top balcony is open but you cannot go further unless you join the tour that happens.The tour was worth it, he explained the seasonality of all the plants and a brief history of the Baha’i religion

Good garden view from top. Only 2 gates on top are open. remaining are open only for registered big groups which is not good thing. Should be accessible to all public.

I traveled through Israel for five weeks. These gardens were, without a doubt, one of the most magnificent places I visited. Theyre absolutely incredible -- meticulously upkept, overflowing with color, and overlooking the mediterranean. Seriously, a trip to Haifa (hell, a trip to Israel!would be incomplete without stopping here.

Had the absolute worst experience in this very beautiful, peaceful place. A security guard there was the rudest gentlemen we have ever encountered in any tourist destination we have travelled to and we have been at least 30 countries and about 80 different towns and cities around the world. He had no respect for us (my husband and Ior to the rest of our group. Please avoid going to this place and spoiling your mood if you spot this "brash and disgusting" security guard sitting there. Bahai authorities - please teach this man some manners to speak to people.

Gardens are holy place. You can visit it only from designated areas. But realy nice place

Beautiful Scenery and views. A sacred place for the Bagai Religion, you can only book the 45min tour online the day before. The temple has been closed to the public since Covid.

Very interesting place to visit. Beautiful gardens and excellent landscaping! Giving it only 4 stars due to the tour that we got. The tour was in English and the tour guid did not give enough of information about the gardens or it’s religion. The religion it self sounded good according to guid, ended up googling it when came back to hotel and it ended up been same BS as all the religions just colored differently.My advice is to Look up information before you go there if you want to know more then just dry cherry picked facts.If you are interested only in gardens, this is an excellent place to look at , just don’t expect to be walking alive the place, the tour will take you from the top all the way down in 1 hour.Overall a good spot to spent an hour and change and see some cool plants and excellent landscaping.

The gardens and the view of the Haifa Bahá’í Gardens are amazing. Haifa is a beautiful town north of Israel, the view from the top of the garden is spectacular. Do not miss this place if you are in the area

The best view spot of Haifa and the Gardens.

There are three or four different entrances, all of them give access just to a small portion of the garden. If you want to have access to the whole garden you have to book a guided tour. The temple is accessible only for the followers of the religion.

A beautiful and inspiring sanctuary on the hills of mount Carmel. Offers sweeping views of the Haifa harbour and bay. The gardens themselves are immaculate and well maintained. I enjoyed my visit. The gardens were closed to the public when I visited. We were able get a view from the top viewing deck and then joined a small guided walking tour from half way down (access through another gate). Our guide was informative and accessible.

I tried not only once, i tried 3 times, 3 different years to visit. Sure, i had no luck - all 3 times the Gardens had been closed for the visitors due to the weather conditions. So my photos are taken from outside...

What a beautiful place to visit and experience. Have been to two Baha’i gardens including Los Angeles, CA., but this one, In Haifa, is breathtaking!!Wear comfortable shoes she nice there are lots of stairs and exploring.

The main entrance to the garden and its areas. A very beautiful place with a variety of trees, plants, flowers. Nice design of the whole garden and architectural decorative elements. In the center is the main temple itself. Below the temple is the main attraction of this place: "numerous green tiers".

It was interesting to know more about about the Bahai religion at the core. To my taste the gardens are way too much manicured to the extreme details, which makes it everything a part from natural. Still you have a nice view over Haifa and the port.NB make sure you check the website to know when you can enter the gardens, which is only possible with a tour. Our English speaking guide was unfortunately not good, but you can also walk around a bit on yourself

A must see place while you are in Haifa. I think one of the best place I had a chance to visit while travelling through Israel. My parents were also amazed by the Gardens. Place is definitely managed with the focus on every single detail and required extraordinary skills from people who maintain it. In addition from the green infrastructure of Gardens you have one of the best panoramic view in the city. Haifa is beautiful and monumental. Highly recommend to visit!

Need to visit if you are in Haifa. Most beautiful views, incredibly well kept gardens. To take into account the visiting hours is from 9 to 12 in the morning

This place is just breathtaking. I would say even if you are not in the area, and just in Israel alone, you should make an effort to visit this beautiful site. Haifa is a wonderful city and so is Bahai Gardens. Its a very peaceful grounds, much of it is closed off but even just the overlook point is enough to marvel at ( we were able to park on the side of the road near the temple and then later drove to the top overlook). We were fortunate enough to go inside to the main temple. It is free, a short wait and there was no flash photography or shoes allowed. Check their hours, they close early and for religious reasons. Its a must see magnificent place!

A beautiful garden, only it’s a pity that you can not get into the garden only if you are a believer of Baha’i. The normal tourists can only see the garden either from downstairs or upstairs. It’s very beautiful, though. You can see the whole harbor of Haifa from above. Security check in front of the entrance, no entrance fee.

Best view of Haifa is from here. The view is splendid. Guided tours are available in specific windows. Otherwise, it is open in day time in the mountain side entrance. A must stop at Haifa.

If you are in Israel, definitely make an effort to go here. The tour is interesting, the religion itself is interesting enough to learn about. Anyone from any background or creed can take something away from this group of people.In terms of the actual gardens themselves, they are some of the most immaculately kept and diverse plants that you will ever lay your eyes on. Everything is kept perfectly, down to the stones on the ground that you are walking on. As you descend, you will feel yourself appreciating the beauty more and more as you look back at each level that you pass.Take the time to explore the gardens and learn a little about the Bahai people You will not regret it.

We went to the night event to mark 200 years anniversary of the birth of the Bab in the Bahai gardens.We traveled at the balconi upper level, and also thru the terraces we climbed the stairs from the lowest level up to the shrine with the golden dome.We mostly enjoyed the panoramic view from the top, the amazing beautiful gardens, the story of how it all began, meeting all the nice volunteers Bahai employees from all around the world, the bus shuttle which took us from one level to the other, and more.

Great view !You should take the free tour, check their website for the tour time and location.I recommend.Also bring a water bottle :)At the end of the tour the is always a cheap cab to take you back to the top the tour started.

The sacred place for people of Bahai faith. The best view to Haifa is from the top of this garden. But its difficult to get inside. There are only way to get inside if you join to excursion, but they are scheduled.

Good place to visit. Free guided tours offered in English on Fridays 10AM and 12NN. Tour takes around 45 mins. Tour starts from the top all the way to the bottom. Unluckily, the shrine was closed for maintenance. Tour guides give so history during the tour. At the end, you can opt to watch a movie on Bahai history. There is a viewing section at the top (yesefroad and at the bottom (neat colonyhowever if you like to go inside you must join a tour. Placr is impressively maintained.

This is the beautiful Bahai Gardens in Haifa, Israel. The view from there is amazing. There is an amazing view and amazing landscape all around there are plants and statues and just art. There is beautiful flowers all around. Gardeners constantly watering and taking care of the beautiful plants.

We went on the walking tour down the gardens, it was a lovely experience. The gardens are well kept and offer great views. Everything is really colourful and you can get some magnifecent photographs. It offers great views of Haifa aswell. The guides are very knowledgeable and are open to recieving questions too. You will need to cover up as this is a religious area. There is a taxi sitting at the bottom entrance of the gardens that will charge you around 30 NIS to go back to the top if you have travveled by car to the gardens. There are some areas where photographs are forbidden and so is use of your mobile phone, you will be asked to take your shoes off when going inside the temple. It is a really good place to visit and look around. I highly recommend visiting.

In Haifa this is tha best place you can visit. Near to the German colony which is also great to visit. It has great view but you cant enter inside the garden. Just entrance and there is some entrance. In the Middle and on the top also (you can go by car or by walk it will take little time to get). This is a sacred place.

Amazing place, well worth visiting. There are different entrances for the shrine and this is not always included in the tours. Modest clothes are required if you are planning to enter. The viewing platform provides the views of the whole city.

This is a one of a kind view that you will never forget.The main entrance is at the top level where parking spots are scarce, and tourists are abundant. Enter with caution through the security gate, and make sure you spit any gum out before you enter.Have your camera ready to take snapshots of various views and angles. All of them pleasing to the eyes, and will instantly catapult to your top 10 collection of photos.The garden itself is already beautiful. But thats not enough. Throw in the astounding Mediterranean Sea in the distant background, plus the entire city of Haifa, plus its enormous Haifa Port. Now youve run over all the competition for good.Cloudy days are the best for visiting this garden. You wont regret it.

The most amazing and beautiful gardens in Israel. I highly recommend visiting the gardens if youre in the area. Theres an amazing view all over the gardens and a great view of Haifa and its port. The story of the Bahais is very interesting and inspiring and I recommend to watch the movie in the end of tour as well about the place and its people.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw these magnificent garden was, where do I get the name and phone number of the guy that did this for my garden. You cant visit Haifa without seeing the Bahai gardens. Not only for their unmatched beauty, but for the great view of Haifa itself situated below this garden.

Haifa is a very pretty city, having both mountains (or high hillsand the sea, kind of like Rio de Janeiro or Cape Town, but way smaller (and way safer).Inside this beautiful environment there´s the Baha´i Centre with its nice gardens and original architecture. The gardens are very vertical, built on a very steep surface, so its highly recommended being prepared to go up the 19 gardens that are connected through a lot of stairs. Keep in mind that the weather plays a big role, with very hot days basically from April till the end of October. Are you ready then for the adventure??!Half way there´s the Shrine of the Báb, a beautiful dome where the believers go to pray. From here you can already admire a stunning view over the city and the Mediterranean Sea.I assume by now you made it all the way to the very top from where you get an even more breathless view, over the city and the whole gardens.Absolutely worth a visit!

Wonderful day with the whole family. The gardens are amazing. If you can get there before 12pm you can have a chance to see the inside of the temple which is absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful garden in the very middle of this hilly middle eastern town. This garden has an incredible charm both inside it and from afar.From afar, it is a colourful strip on the Mount Carmel. From inside, it is a rather pleasant walk among so different plants.The entrance of the main garden is free.

Of everything in Israel, the Bahai Gardens in Haifa stood out to me. So much greenery. So much symmetry. Every person in the gardens were quiet-- they would whisper to one another. It was an interesting experience being someplace so beautiful and around so many people, but it was still incredibly quiet.

A beautiful place, unfortunately most gardens are not accessible to the public. View points are designated. On scheduled days and a short period of time entry is possible for English speaking groups or Hebrew groups 😔

The beautiful gardens in Haifa are only partly accessible to Non-Bahai visitors. But there are really interesting tours which start close to the top of the gardens and are for free. The Bahai religion is also introduced during these tours. The gardens are definitely French style since symmetry is considered as beautiful by the Bahai. So you might be disappointed if you do not like this kind of garden. And the tours might be quite exhausting in the summer due to the large amount of stairs one has to take.

Amazing gardens, built on the 19 terraces from the top of the hill, right to the port area, just before the German Colony.The garden has breathtaking views of the port of Haifa and it will easily be your best moment.At the bottom of the 19 terraces there is the shrine of Bab, shining brightly in golden.Important things to note: * No entry charges. * Visitors can take the tour of the garden from 0900 to 1200 hrs. So make sure to visit during this time.
