Basic, counter-serve spot with late-night hours, serving burritos, tacos & quesadillas.
I DoorDashed an order of nachos today and they didn’t look anything like the pictures… everything came separate… guac was stale. Chips were cheap. Cheese didn’t even come on the nachos !!! MEAT WAS NOT FULLY COOKED. You’ve got to be kidding me. Literally the worst nachos I’ve ever had. Very disappointed
Getting two stars because I believe they can do better, I know they have it in them. I can accept that some people have off days. Anyway. This is the worst burrito Ive ever eaten. It was a shredded chicken chimichanga. When did I first encounter chicken? Well, at one point my reason for eating strayed away from hunger and became an attempt to chase away the dawning horror that there might not be any. About 2/3rds of the way in, it ambushed me. It was impressively crusty. My investigation felt like the end of Se7en. I didnt eat anymore. It never occurred to me how important organization was in a burrito until now, but it makes sense. People generally like consistency when it comes to them. Despite it being a chimichanga I think I had a total of 3? slightly crispy bites. There were an obnoxious amount of whole, soggy kidney beans, paired with mushy and lackluster rice. Keep in mind this is what I had to go through to get to the chicken(whats in the box?So, chill on the beans, and nothing wrong with the classic black or refried beans. Texture is important, maybe wrap them in tinfoil, put them in paper bags, something, to reduce sog. Marinate the chicken, and change it out more. Please.
Ordered a Fire and Ice burrito which claims to have double hot sauce and double sour cream. If there was hot sauce on either of the two burritos I got, it was so mild it may as well not have been present. The sour cream was also barely present, and mostly water. The chicken was fine, mostly just a texture. The beans were decent, but low on flavor (are you sensing a theme yet?)The rice was good rice. Ill give it that.Overall, not sure Id eat here again. If I did, Id feel it necessary to specify that I want the hottest hot sauce (which I must assume is fairly mild), and I want a measurable amount of it.Side note, when you pay, theres a tip option on the screen. The LOWEST option is 18%, and the option on the left (that youd expect to be the lowest optionis 25%. So, you know, keep your eye out for that too.
By far one of the worst places for delivery drivers. Been here a few times...and they always say oh u pick up outside...but theres never anyone outside. So you wait around for 10 plus minutes waiting for someone to come out and hand you a order you can see sitting there. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Well I tried to find there new location, didnt have any luck. But I was definitely looking forward towards getting perhaps 2- 3 giant burritos, 2 for myself, and 1 for my sister. Need to find there new location!
Used to frequent BTB late at night on their state st location but since the move, their food is trash. I ordered taquitos yesterday and they gave me the microwaveable ones… what a joke. Fries in the San Diego burrito also used to be way better. Kinda sad more than anything this place fell off.
Pretty bland and boring compared to how it used to be. Also way more expensive than what it was before. Definitely not going to go back again.
Quick pick up from the booth in front of Charlies on South U. Food is good and pretty consistent.
Quality has definitely deteriorated since the move. Often times extremely salty, chicken tastes like it was canned. Used to be a go-to, but might move to Panch instead when I want a burrito
Quality dropped compared to old state street location. Service time has increased while service quality decreased. They dont stay open as late as they used to either.
Food is really good if they make it right, but that doesnt happen a lot of the time anymore. Quality is inconsistent, and now ordering online is obnoxious. Not sure what happened to this place.
Yummy, yummy in my tummy. My pals and I love BTB! However, I do miss thee ole State St. location ;(
Used to be a favorite spot. I live 4 blocks away. Ordered delivery for my wife and despite being LITERALLY 4 blocks away order had not shown up within 2 hours.
I came to pick up an order and one male and one female are having a conversation talking about nothing important. I was waiting for three minutes and they did not notice I was at the window. I had to get their attention for them to notice I was here to pick up an order
I tried to make an order over the phone on 6/21/2021 and was informed very rudely by a host that I have to order through a third party website. This seemed weird as I have ordered over the phone many times, pre paying, large orders in the past. When I asked for manager to clarify (I have worked in A2 restaurant seen for past 15 years), because it seemed so odd I could not order over the phone and pre pay. I told the manager "Mary" that while I could understand they prefer the online orders, I had never heard of an Ann arbor restaurant turning down a large pre paid order for pick up. "Mary" then told me it was easier for the kitchen staff to take online orders, so that is why I could not order over the phone. Super great customer service, not the same BTB it was on state.
Good, cheap burritos, but very inconsistent with online orders and accuracy. Things are often missing and have to be asked for, like an included coke or missing guac.
Changed location moved into a bar the burritos used to be way better seemed smaller with way less flavor used to be my favorite burrito.
Burritos are amazing, but I’m not sure the staff is capable of following online orders. I’ve ordered from them, 20-30 times because the burritos are so good, but I’m not sure they’ve ever made the same burrito twice. Disappointing each time.
BTB, Best Tasting Burrito. Yeah, I know thats not what BTB stands for, but it still applies here. Good burritos, great price, fast service, what more can you ask for?
Terribly disappointed and will not return. Ordered my food at 6:58 and received an email that it would be ready at 7:25. Arrived at 7:28 and was told it was not ready. Waited 30 MINUTES inside before it was finally ready just to get home to cold burritos. Completely unexceptable to tell a customer there food is ready and waste 30 minutes of their time for terrible food. Do not recommend.
Ok... so Ive only ate here once. My main reason for trying this place was because I was craving a churro, which they were out of the ingredients and had to refund me the money after I made the purchase online. Later on that evening after going to get my order I realized they left out the steak in the steak nachos I ordered. So all in all not the best first experience. My daughter loves the place and has eaten there before....as for me Im not sure if Ill try them again.
My favorite order at BTB Burrito is the BTB Fries. Its really the only thing I order. Although I enjoy this meal, there is a problem every time I order it. Ive received in the past, someone elses order and an order 2 hours later. I know Ive done it through GrubHub in the past, but its unfortunate that this has happened. This time, I placed an order for the fries and a chimichanga. I ordered at 10:24 pm, was received a notification that it would be here at 10:50. I waited until 11 pm and called Good Time Charleys, which had combined with them for covid, to see where my order was. I was told that my fries were being delivered by someone, but that my chimichanga was still at the restaurant and would be delivered when a driver a came. I then received a call, that unfortunately, something happened and there were no drivers but I can pick up my order on my own. I was fine with that and went to the restaurant, this time close to 11:30, so an hour after I placed my order. I got there, said my order, the bag said both of my things were there. I opened the bag on the way home to find only the chimichanga. Called them to explain, they apologized and refunded my fries Just really disappointed at this point. The chimichanga wasnt for me, so Im glad my friend got what I ordered for them at least. Would recommend if you can go inside, the BTB fries are really amazing, but ordering has always been a disaster.
Best burrito and chimichanga my husband and I have ever had in our lives definitely will be going back...We are going to introduce our kids To the giant burrito/chimichanga next time !!I definitely recommend going here🥰🥰Ps.. I couldn’t finish my chimichanga however my husband smashed his burrito but we were both so full that the fries went to waste ....
This place is seriously amazing. I’ve never had a burrito before today and I’m absolutely hooked now. My fiancé had the San Francisco (which he said was the one of the best and hottest burritos he’s had in a whileand I had the regular ground beef. Even the basics were done to perfection and our 30 minute drive there was totally worth it.
I’d truly travel any distance for Big Ten Burrito as the place has been on the very top of my list for over a decade. You have to get here and while the entire menu is delicious, I’d recommend the quesadillas because they’re a dream come true. BTB is the best. Also I should mention that Ashley from the location off Main St. provides the best possible customer service a person could hope for. Thank you BTB.
We tried the California burrito and chicken quesadilla. Both were great portion sizes and tasty. I love that this spot on campus is affordable and good.
Incredible burrito, heart of campus. Worth the traffic/parking. Neat to see currency from around the world stapled to the walls. Bring your spare currency from your travels and leave your mark! (Literally if youve kept some old German currency!)
Went late on a Friday night (actually early Saturday morningafter bar close. Wasnt surprised that the place was packed. Service was good for how busy it was and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Burrito was OK. The beef was not good quality. There were pieces of it that were impossible to chew. Also the burrito as a whole was cold.
BTB is love, BTB is life. The staff truly knows how to manage a hangry, drunk college crowd and I will always respect the employees here. They truly have seen everything! The hours are great, the food hits spots you never thought you had, and Ill always keep this joint close to my heart.Thx for carrying me these past few years <3
Great food at a great price. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. I was glad to see that they even have vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly and professional. Will be back for sure!
I dont usually write poor reviews but this time I feel its necessary. We ordered while at work and our order was missing an item and one of the items was wrong. Asked to have the item replaced and received a call back from the manger that it was my mistake and they would not replace the item but they would send out the missing item. Also, the portions of salsa sent in orders of chips and salsa were the quarter size side item. Having been in customer service for a very long time, the manager should have sent both items due to the order being wrong in the first place. Customer service could use some help and please give a decent size serving of salsa with chips and salsa order. Not likely to order again.
This was highly recommended to us by a University of Michigan alum and did not disappoint. The cheese fries were unbelievable!
Came tonight with a group of six and the folks here we extremely professional and served us pretty quickly while still taking care of other customers. My first time having a chimichanga and it was amazing!
This place is great. Friendly service, tasty food, awesome location, and it has a super cool vibe. BTB is definitely by far one of my favorite restaurants in the area. They’re also open well into the early hours of the morning which is a HUGE plus for me, considering most places are closed when I get out of work and am starving. I suggest the Fire and Ice!
Went here at 3 am and the food was great! Got a giant steak burrito and ate it for two separate meals it was huge lol. I recommend them and their churros were really good as well. Great place to get stuff to eat at night since they are open till 4am.
First off we ordered over 50 dollars in food. The delivery guys was cool but when I got the food upstairs everything was cold and my nachos came without chips. The food was poorly prepared. Will not be ordering through them again.
The burritos are tasty, and the staff is friendly enough. Although, it is more of a college hangout for frat boys and girls where they can get a quick meal up to the wee hours. When I got there, the door was blocked by college students. Since, the space is so small, I had to stand tucked in the corner to wait for my burrito. Plus, the chick that took my order didnt have the best customer service. I was greeted or given any recommendations.
Best burrito on campus. There was one manager that was a bit of a creeper on me, but the food was still great. I used to order delivery all the time after late night rehearsals or on drunken undergrad weekends.
There are a million burrito places out there but only one BTB. I try to stop here often when I am in Ann Arbor. I got hooked when I was in college. Everything on their menu is massive and delicious and inexpensive. You know its terrible for you but it doesnt even matter because youre so happy.
This is a great place to get a quick bite. The burritos are good and filling. They also dont break your wallet. There isnt a lot of seating, but Ive never found that to be an issue. Excellent place to grab a bit to eat late at night also, since theyre open quite late.
Ordered online at 930am for a 1115 arrival. started calling the business at 1130, no answer, called back at noon and the lady said, yea they are running behind...estreet driver says its in route..he picked it up at 1140 and sorry....WHAT!!!!!! NEVER will i put a tip on my CC again. No one ever called and said they were going to be late or anything... not a great way to run a buisness. 3 of the 6 people i ordered for already took there break. Great!!!!
Having arrived from Toronto (where a good burrito will set you back by $10 at the very least), I was blown away by the sheer amount of food BTB put out for $4.50. The vegetarian burrito I ordered was loaded with beans and cheese, and proved immensely satisfying. It was accompanied by a heaping portion of tortilla chips and a refreshing salsa (both of which were entirely welcome). I would have settled for a lot less at that price. Needless to say, I will most definitely return to BTB. You can’t beat a delicious, hearty meal at under 5 bucks.
Hole in the wall burrito joint popular with the college crowd. Great selection of huge burritos for a reasonable price. Chimichangas are my fav! Love the churros, but do wish they had more dessert options.
I came. I ate. I loved it. Tastes super fresh-- they make their own hot sauce, which is always a good sign. Kinda small inside, def meant to be a grab n go kinda place for us college kids. An excellent late night meal option.
A co-worker and I ordered online. Sunday May 27th 2018 . It told us that it will be delivered at 6:54 p.m. he ordered it at around 5:30 p.m. . Unfortunately the order took too long that we called them to check on the status of our order. They unfortunately failed to communicate with us telling us that their system was down and its been about an hour and that our order was not made. They assured me that my order would be there in 15 minutes there was no apology about the delay. Unfortunately we have no service in the hospital. So they did not call Norma can tempt to try to look for us. They cancelled the order without notifying us. Took another hour for us to get our order. And it was wrong in the first place. Im a first-time customer and I will never ever order from them again. They got ghetto people working there that will talk to you like they are ghetto
Thee BEST burrito in ann arbor. Awesome food and service. Opwn til 4am
They make an excellent burrito at a competitive price. They are open late and are fast. Burrito quality is often determined by the placement of the ingredients inside, and BTB does a good job with that as well.
Holy wow, this place is absolutely amazing. Theyre open late, have low prices, and serve huge servings of delicious food. I would absolutely return for the sheer value and great flavors as well as the friendly cashier. Online ordering was seamless, and Id recommend BTB Burrito to anyone- vegetarian or meat-lover.
Whether its lunchtime or its 4am and you suddenly have the urge for a burrito BTB is probably the best in Ann Arbor. They have tasty and inexpensive burritos. Theres technically seating there but groups of more than 2 people shouldnt plan to eat there.
The owner is from California. I am from California. We Californians know and appreciate our style of burrito. Its not fancy its not expensive its just simple delicious ingredients mixed together in the right proportion. This place does burritos right. And the south u location is one of the more underrated bars on campus for the food and drink specials, location, seating...
