Great veggie burger. Excellent rosemary fries. Excellent service. Will return!

Great menu options. Good portions. Nice drink selection of changing craft beers. Really tasty burgers and friendly staff too.

Amazing burger, I love food...I love burgers, with know what Im talking about, great! Maybe the only improvement I could make is toast the bun, it was slightly soggy but Im splitting hairs its great. I had the peanut jelly one.

Had my Stag do dinner on Saturday. Every bit of food was excellent, quick on service and with a smile, despite us being a large group of guys drinking.Worked with my Best man before hand to really make the night special, far and above what any reasonable person would expect, or consider possible, doing themselves out of us spending at the bar just to make the evening better for me.Absolutely will go again if were ever in Nottingham!

Probably the best burger Ive had in ages, the venue has tables outside which are perfect for summer but the restaurant itself itself is situated downstairs. We were surprised at how spacious it was and the service was great - fast with knowledgeable servers who were happy to recommend burgers and beers etc. Lots of alcohol free beers to try and although the burgers dont come with sides, there are plenty to choose from and the burgers are so filling that we ended up sharing a bowl of fries! Highly recommend but it does get busy so book ahead.

I’m sure the food is fabulous but the attitude is poor! I arrived and simply said ‘we’ve not been here before but I’ve read you don’t take reservations we just have to turn up?’ To which I got a dead pan response ‘well there’s no tables’ to which I responded ‘ok, do we just wait then & get a drink’ … ‘well there’s no tables so’You get the jist - we were not welcome!I get everyone is busy at the moment but simple manners? Surely everyone’s got time for that. It was my Husbands birthday and I was really looking forward to trying the famous Bohns! Will not return & will warn others

Booked for a group of 12 and had a fantastic time. Staff extremely accommodating, including a special request. Food and ambience both excellent. Would recommend to anybody.

Visited for the first time today, after our usual go to burger joint had taken a dive in service etc.What a fantastic experience the whole visit wasStaff were exellent, and should be commended, smiles all around and just the right amount of checking to see if everything was ok.And the food WOW!!!!!arrived very quickly,piping hot and absolutly deliciousBurgers to die for and the house fries, dont get me started!!!!!suffice to say we shall be backWell Done!

There was a long wait for a table but we had a few drinks upstairs in Brewdog and one more at the bar. When we finally got a table, we were relived to discover it was well worth the wait! The burgers were fantastic and we thoroughly recommend the dirty fries, though they are a little spicy. Staff were very friendly too.

Having not eaten at every burger restaurant in town I cant vouch for Bohns claim that theyre the best. However I can say that they were pretty good. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime without a reservation and got a table with no bother, though it was pretty busy. We skipped starters and just had a burger each and some fries to share. My burger was delicious. Cant remember the name but it was the one with jalapeños and a raspberry jam sauce. The burgers were nicely cooked and crunchy pickled onions and the jam and chillies were lovely and not too hot. Not the cheapest burger in town but certainly delicious.

I had beef rub, loaded fries and buffalo wings. Food was fine, but was not particularly impressed. The burger was kinda bland, the fries were alright, could have done with more pep: spring onion/jalapenos/etc and less chorizo. As they were, it was kinda greasy cheesy chorizo fries. The table was not clean and the ladies toilet out of order. Staff were not rude, but difficult to get hold of, which was odd, as it was dead when we arrived!! Finally, the restaurant smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. In retrospect, this could well be what put me off my food... This is not really BOHNS fault, its just that people sit on the entrance step smoking & the wind was blowing the wrong way. Still its easily been 20 years since I ate in a restaurant that smelled of ciggies!

Definitely the best burger in Nottingham. Absolutely love this place. Fantastic cocktails too, including deals mid week and very friendly staff!

The staff were welcoming and happy to help which is always nice to see!Bohns was recommended to me as I really enjoyed Fat Hippos the last time I was in Nottingham.Generally the food was really enjoyable. I had the PB+J burger, dirty fries and we shared some camembert bites.For me the burger was a little too bread heavy but that didnt take away from how nice it was.The dirty fries were OK but I found the chorizo to be a little processed. Like the hot dog sausage of the chorizo world.The camembert bites though. Would eat them every day.They had a craft beer selection. Now Im not against businesses making money but I felt like these were way too over priced. Beavertown Gamma Ray was nearly £6 a CAN (the small oneand the larger cans but less well known crafts were £8 a can. I ended up going for a Coke zero for that reason.Bill for the 4 of us was £85. We had 4 burgers, 2 dirty fries, 2 normal fries, camembert and 5 non alcoholic drinks.All in all, we all walked out feeling full, having had a really tasty meal!

Great tasting burgers!! The dirty fries are amazing!! Good table service.Definitely will be returning I drove from Leicester to try this place and I wasn’t disappointed at all.Keep up the good work guys.

We visited here from a recommendation & being given gift vouchers by our foodie friends. For drinks we had Moretti Larger, a Horizon mocktail, also accompanied with water in a cool glass skull.For the burgers we went for the Torero, assured it was delicious & a diffidently have again. Also the Peanut Butter Jelly, wow I was defeated, however it tasted great. I made the mistake by eating loads of sides, before eating the burger, these being halloumi fries & rosemary salted fries, with both having unique tasty flavour.

The best burgers in the East Midlands! What an absolute treat this place is. The patties, fillings, sauces ands buns are all perfect, delivering a taste sensation. Will be back again and again!

Best vegan burger ever! Great staff, atmosphere and food. Been here many times with friends and family and will certainly go again!!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Im rating experiance and not the food (as, unfortunately, we were not able to get to that part)Myself and my daughters - we came in for a fathers day treat, about 20min after opening, got a table and made our order.We waited over 1 hour, and despite politley asking the staff about our order we got no real anwser as to we when we could expect our order to come. After another 15min someone went and check with the kitchen only to tell us that it will be minimum another 45min before it will be served . I understand. You need to wait for good things in life and food is a good example... but 2h wait for 3 burgers???Thats super excessive even in my book.It seems we should have booked a 3h slot? In the end we couldnt wait any longer and had to leave without trying BOHNS famous burgers... which Im told are amazing but... 2h wait left us severely disappointed as we had to go and look for a different fathers day treat as well.

Been to BOHNS a couple of times for lunch and dinner, they never disappoint. Burgers are always well presented and full of flavour. Rosemary fries are definitely a mush get. Milkshakes are also fantastic. Overall great value for the quality you get

The burgers/ food are way overpriced, they dont include a side dish like chips, like almost every other burger menu. You cant buy coke on tap, all they have are tiny bottles, also overpriced. They even charge for a miniscule pot of sauce to accompany your food. Limited menu.I ordered the chicken burger, which was actually quite decent. What really annoys me is, it had loads of onions and gherkins on the burger. It does NOT say it has onions and gherkins on the menu. So why does this happen? Are they not concerned about people with allergies or maybe absolutely the hate the taste of certain foods like onions and gherkins?Please alter your menu.The staff were pretty great and really friendly.

Cracking burgers. Loaded fries are awesome, but watch out, theyve got a kick to them! Service was great, super friendly. We were lucky enough to get a walk-in table around 7pm. Shortly after people were being told to wait or come back as it was full pretty quickly.Burger was tasty, well built, not too messy and delicious. All round top marks 🍔

For someone who is no longer that fussed about burgers after having so many bad ones, this place will reignite your love for a good burger. Excellent quality meat, great prep and great selection of sauces and brilliant tasting sides - a perfect lunch.2 burgers, 2 sides and 4 pints set us back £60 between 2 - which is a pretty pricey lunch however.

LOVE IT!Excellent food and service, great value too.I have had 2 unsuccessful trips to BOHNS, sadly on a couple of Sunday visits theyve closed the kitchen just at I got there, I think they have a floating closing time depending on how busy it is, anyway it was worth the wait!Friendly staff quickly greeted us and showed us to a table. Great looking menu, everything available, picked the Rump Rub and dirty fries, both so good, epic proportions, the chorizo on the fries was pure genius.They recently won an award for best burger in the UK so really well done to them, the food was fantastic, look forward to going again.Highly recommended!

Amazing burgers and brilliant, attentive service. Really good beer selection and the vegan burger is the best Ive ever tasted - almost concerningly so. A gem in Nottingham, infinitely better than a certain Lace Market rival with an enormous menu which Ive always found underwhelming. Bohns prove that quality beats quantity every day of the week.

Great burgers. Fresh buns and good,not over the top fillings. Gluten free buns and vegan burger options. Nice crisp fries. Service was cheerful, prompt and courteous. I was with a large sports team and the service was very quick. Would definitely go again. Not good for an intimate, romantic dinner but excellent for families and groups.

staff are friendly but the place was too hot and no ventilation...I didnt like the burger and expect ages to bring your order!I ordered the peanut butter burger and taste was terrible as peanuts oils were clear which made it much worse. Beef was not that delicious and onion taste was stronger than the burger itself.Portions also do not match prices.The fries was amazing.

Came for Sunday lunch, and was relatively quiet. Lovely friendly service and nice environment. Burgers were excellent, the patties were full of flavour and great quality buns. The pickles and onions were a nice zingy touch, and there was plenty of cheese. Word of warning, these are a messy eat (the small plates - although aesthetically pleasing - do pose a challengebut totally worth it. House fries seasoning was great, we shared one portion between us. Oh and the mayo was the bomb. Only thing missing is a tap from Brewdog upstairs!

I know burgers very well, I travel to try new burger joints, but I didnt have the chance to try this place until now.So I went to try Bohns with really high expectations after reading many reviews and articles; but to be honest my expectations were not met. Bohns EXCEEDED my expectations by far, let me tell you why:To begin, I was buried with smiles from every staff member. They were really professional, fast, and straight to the point.The venue was simple, clean, real clean, well ventilated and well lit, despite being half hidden underground.MANY sauce options, youll want to dip once in each.Chips came straight from the fryer, and were PERFECT.The BLUE, was the burger that I went for, a choice that I would never regret!The BUN was perfectly fluffy, and soft. Balanced, not sweet, neither salty; covered with various seeds, so you have a slightly different, but relatively close experience with everybite. The burger was like a swing, youre happy with every move, although no move is exactly the same.The blue cheese added a fantastic zing to the perfectly smashed patties, which were filled with their mayo, sneaky mayo.I enjoyed this burger to the last pickled slice of onion.Thank you, because of you, I had an amazing beginning of the day, you, literally, made my day.

Incredible burgers!Somewhat different to many other burger places and certainly has a more ‘upmarket’ feeling / lovely decor throughout.The burgers were absolutely delicious.Also to note is the drink selection - absolutely great - as gin lovers, there is a lot of choice. Plenty of ‘higher end’ gins.We absolutely love it at BOHNS.We’ve been twice and will definitely be going again!

Have eaten at Bohns a few times and the food is really great. The problem is the food always takes about an hour even though the restaurant isn’t that busy. Also having to pay £12.50 for a burger and an extra £3.75 for chips is quite a stretch, you even have to pay 50p for table sauces like ketchup which seems bizarre regardless of how good your burgers are.

Now, albeit I’ve only been to Bohns once, it left a lasting impression on me. I had The Torero; a double patty, topped with sweet chorizo, cheese, ketchup and mayo. And it was ‘glorioso’!The guys working there were warm, friendly and accommodating.I’m looking forward to going back.- edit: been twice now, still banging!

Cant fault the food, its very good. Its busy so waits for service can be lengthy, and the background music is too loud so you have to shout across the table to your companion!

Food is amazing and theres a great selection of beers and cocktails. Very frustrating that you cant book for groups of less than 5 as when we turned up as a four we were told they were fully booked. Fortunately we waited around and there was a no show. Peanut butter burger is something you just have to try!

Got the vegan classic and really liked the burger! Bun was pillowy and toppings were good, only complaint was the burger was actually quite small so I would definitely recommend getting sides too if you want this to be a full meal.The meat eaters with me loved their meat burgers, described as best in Notts!

Really tasty food. Had the peanut butter jelly burger... flavours!! You can tell the sauces are homemade. Reccomrnd the mango wing also. And the dirty Fries!! Pricey but worth it.

Best burger in Nottingham! Very juicy beef fantastic bun, lovely sauce and the only let down is the cheese.Dirty fries where the best chips I have ever had. Highly recommended.Staff were nice, good covid precautions. One issue is our table was very central and felt crowded by people and foot traffic.Not a great beer selection either which could boost the place up.

One of the best burgers I have had in a long time! We had buffalo wings to start (9/10), a pork belly bao bun (10/10the torerro burger (8/10and the rump rub burger (8/10). Great food, nice clean dining area, friendly staff and great service! Loved it, will return!

This place is a must. Amazing burgers and baos, all packed full of flavour and made with quality ingredients. Very good value for money. The blue cheese chips were packed full of blue cheese, I couldn’t stop eating even though I was feeling full already! The freakshakes are impressive, they are so much more than just a milkshake, but also more than a dessert. Fantastic.

Great burger but far too small.Also not a fan of having to purchase fries seperately. I know its probably the norm these days, but still grated on me.Musician was very good, but a bit too loud for an eating establishment.Did i enjoy the food? Hell yeah. Would i be back, yes, but probably not for food as wasnt substantial enough as a meal.Hats off to the lovely attentive waiting staff in the form of Katie.
