Lovely place to stay grounds are tidy... office staff are wonderful... dog friendly... great place for families and close to beaches and river great walking areas... close to shops enjoyed our stay

I can’t rate this caravan park highly enough. We stayed in a pet friendly cabin and took our two pugs. We will welcomed with a welcome pack and two pet packs with a little treat and a big 4 for lead, which was a nice touch. The facilities were wonderful. The fishing was great. Everything was right at your fingertips. Will definitely be my go to in Forster and can’t wait to stay again.

Great friendly staff welcome you to the park. Valet parking for your caravan, on arrival and departure, makes getting in and out hasslefree. Sites are generous and total level with astro turf. Ablutions are spotless and the kids watermark and pool is amazing.

Our waterfront pet-friendly cabin was spotless - Immaculately clean. Wi-fi does not work however, Sorry kids! Pools are heated, so good for swimming in not perfect weather.

This park is as advertised, if not better. Friendly, efficient staff, valet van parking and retrieval and excellent everything. Great for kids. Booking essential.

Ok place for a family. Steer clear if you dont. Price jump from $50 a night to $120 per night because of school holidays. People walking through your campsite. Groundsman mowing astroturf at 7.30am was very noisy.Heated pool is cold. Disappointed.

Really enjoyed our stay until one of our bikes were stolen from our caravan. Locks and bike rack cut. Management informed, didn’t alert other guests to the risk considering it was the second theft of the day. Secure your site!Facilities and the park really well maintained, lots for the kids to do. Excellent location with direct water access. Astro turf sites are awesome. Reception should inform guests when arriving that they will park your van for you, most people we saw throughout the week were halfway through parking their van when the tractor turned up, including us.

Very clean amenities, free sausage sizzle and glorious setting. But the best thing was the efficient and happy staff. Nothing was a problem. Did enjoy the van valet parking by the "marriage saver."

Absolutely the best caravan park in the area. So well planned out and love the astro turf sites.

A fantastic park. Extremely Clean, pet friendly, wonderful big sites, staff friendly n helpful, beautiful scenery n facilities. Valet caravan parking, n wonderful clean amenities. We booked for 2 nights stayed for 6 nights n would have atayed longer if time permitted. We cant wait to return. The Cafe was a big bonus with lovely friendly staff n appetising food. Well done..

Brilliant place to stay. Caravan park offers something different each day. Plenty to see in the forster Tuncurry area. Park would have to be one of the best ever been to.

Arrived last night but had the best service ever. Small tractor saved us the stress of parking the van, a blessing for us. Lovely park, looking forward to enjoying our time here.

What a caravan park. One free coffee, 2 heated pools, discount in fish and chips shop, they valet parked our van, artificial grass, absolutely huge site, stunning ensuit. Pet friendly. This park is 5+ stars. 🤩We had our rubbish picked up every morning so you need to leave it outside. They also give you a new rubbish bag. The WiFi is strong, the water pressure is great for shower too. The customer service is fantastic, all employees were kind and helpful. I posted this review on different Facebook pages and I received 50 replies booking in. 💞 Thank you!

Possibly one of the best sites we have been to! Great friendly staff most sites are Astro turfed. Just loved it. Nice walk to town. So many eateries. We loved the one at the end of the Main Street. Best coffee and amazing interior 😎

The staff at the park were AMAZING. I recommend this park to ALL holidayers. The amenities are Too Notch. The people are supe friendly and the staff are the most accommodating and sincere that you will find anywhere in Australia. A great place to stay. Sites are spacious and the valet parking of the van is really great and makes it all easy . The facilities are great and the staff exceptional. Friendly and efficient.

We saw many dolphins. The walk to the various lookout spots was not difficult. Spectacular views. No parking issues. Other areas around this spot said "no dogs" which I thought was very unfriendly, but there was no notice here.

We stayed for two nights with our kids and our dog, and we all wished we could have stayed for longer! The park is in a lovely spot and we walked over to the water several times (our kids especially loved the pelicans 😋).Our cabin was really well laid out, extremely clean and we really appreciated the dog friendly option so we really could bring the whole family!Our kids swam twice despite the Winter chill and lost count of how many times they giggled their way down the water slide. They also loved the arts and crafts session. The jumping pillow was unfortunately out of order while we were there (probably because of the torrential rains!but it’s also a great feature to keep the kids entertained.We will absolutely be back to stay again! Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful getaway ☺️

Big 4 was in the perfect location, had facilities to suit all ages, best holiday park ever, highly recommend it to all, the staff are excellent, the park kept clean regularly, very well maintained caravan sites & cabins immaculate.

Fabulous, modern, clean and brilliantly appointed holiday park. One of the best weve stayed at. Superb amenities; especially the individual ensuite bathrooms in the amenities block. Great walks, friendly and welcoming staff. Good, level and dry sites with plenty of room to stretch out. Highly recommend this place .. and did I mention the sunsets and the small lake with its own boardwalk??? Heaven!!!

This is fantastic caravan park in a perfect location. It has a beautiful swimming pool and lots to keep the children entertained. The amenities are spotless and the park is immaculate. I will definitely return and will recommend it to my friends. .

Fantastic park, very clean, neat and tidy, love the valet parking for your van (very stress free). Right on the water, beautiful spot to have dinner watching the sunset.

cabin was spotless, with everything you could possibly need. We travelled with a pet and there was a welcome pack for him as well. Staff on check in and check out could not have been more helpful and pleasant. We stayed one night on the way to a destination BUT on our return this park will be a destination for about a week. Clean, peaceful, close to everything and setting beautiful. see you soon

We had an amazing time there. The classic cabine was impeccable clean as towels and beds sheets. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. The whole site was great. We would definitely go back there.

What a fantastic place to stay, especially with kids! We were so impressed with the facilities and play areas and how clean and well-kept everything was. Our cabin was just as impressive! Modern, super clean and had absolutely everything you could need. The Staff also deserve a mention, never without a smile and so lovely & helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

Have just stayed here for 3 nights and found it amazing. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, nothing was a bother. The grounds are immaculate, the cabin was spotless and their attitude and pride in the park was outstanding. We have travelled Australia for 2 years and never found a park with such high standards. Can not recommend the girls in the cafe enough, great coffee, affordable prices and spotless preparation and serving areas.Only issue, studio cabin 1 did not get any sun thus made it cold and the walls are very thin thus the adjoining rooms made for entertainment during the night. Have booked again in a few weeks time but this time for a stand alone cabin. Can easily see why this park gets booked up so far in advance. Would rate it 10+++ in every aspect. Great Place to stay. Got an upgrade and a discount as well. Very neat rooms and all utensils, bedsheets, pillow covers were clean. Few ( 1or 2Halal food Options available around the area. You can get the fish and chips from their own cafe if looking to eat something from there. But Cafe closes at 3pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends. Overall extremely nice and relaxing place to stay for a night and two.

We had 5 days with the fur baby and van. The van parking service via the “ Marriage Saver” was great. The chap driving it was really pleasant and must be a valued employee. Great facilities for all users. After the big storm Monday evening staff came to make sure we were ok. I hope the park operates just as well during peak times. Great to take the fur baby and be welcomed openly. The only thing missing is a Doggy Day Care. What an advantage that would be in the park. Great Stay!!

A great way to start a holiday is by being greeted at your accommodation by friendly, helpful people. From the conversation on the phone to book our on-site accommodation, through to departure, we were greeted with smiles, can-do attitudes, and generally just delightful people. The cabin was brilliant and the setting was just what we needed. All in all, a really great place to stay.

Just finished staying there for the weekend in a powered camp site. Id give more stars if I could. What a great place to stay. The camp sites are all astro turf in pristine condition. The amenities blocks are all spotless and clean. We had a great time. Well definitely be coming back.

What a great little holiday park. Caravan sites may not be the biggest weve used, but are a comfortable size with clean artificial grass. The use of the "Marriage Saver" tractor to park the van is both a novelty and very helpful. Amenities are large and clean. Easy access to the main town and across the bridge to Forster. The evening walking with the pelicans is a great diversion. Recommended.

Really impressive park!! Easy check in, the marriage saver tractor to put your van onsite, the fake turf under every site keeps everything clean, dry and it looks fabulous. The garbage collection everyday, the facilities for the kids, the easy access boat ramp and lovely chairs & tables by the water. And to top it off, a shop with everything you could imagine. Top notch facility that definitely deserve their 2022 best caravan park of the year award. Great job team Great Lakes, definitely a park to be proud of.

What a wonderful park. Exceptionally friendly staff , from check in onwards. They couldnt have been more helpful. The facilities are well above par and many other parks in the Big 4 family could learn a lot from Big 4 Great Lakes.

We’ve been here four times and will return again. This park is extremely neat and tidy with a great setup for kids. The park put on a sausage sizzle for everyone, there was also a pizza van setup by the water. We love the astroturfed sites also the cabins. Very friendly and accomodating staff. We won’t stay anywhere else while visiting Foster / Tuncurry.

A wonderful break away in this secure and fun park, that is pet friendly & with our Ensuite right next to our Van, we couldnt have wanted for anything.Including a Cafe with delicious meals on site. Offering discount meals everyday.

I have to agree with alot of reviews that this would be one of the best parks in the area,fantastic water area for kids including a mini water slide. Synthetic turf and a tractor that does all the work when it comes to moving the caravan giving you that VIP feeling!!! I would highly recommend.

This is an absolutely wonderful park. I couldnt fault any aspect at all. The van sites that I saw were all level with beautifully maintained astro turf as well as very efficient valet parking. All staff were friendly and helpful and the amenities were all immaculate. I highly recommend it.

What a wonderful park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very impressed with the valet parking and departure with the marriage saver tractor. Loved getting text messages with cafe specials and what was on. Live music created a wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely return and stay on a site closer to the lake.

After staying in many many parks over the last few years, this is by far the best park Ive ever stayed at. Highly recommend this place. It has a great spot upon the water, close to town, a tractor valet service that puts your caravan on and off your site, large sites, clean amenities, bin service - you leave your rubbish on the sidewalk and they collect it every day, big pool with big slide, lap pool, playground, jumping pillow, cafe and many activities for the adults and kids to do. We had the most amazing holiday with family at Easter. The staff are exceptional, the park and amenities are clean. There are wonderful activities for the children. We love coming back here. It is the best park so far that we have camped in. Thank you

Great venue, most of the sites have artificial greens so no dirt/mud. The staff are freindly and the guys on the tractor to help park your camper/caravan are so helful. 2 pools to choose from, kids activites during school holidays and close to shops/supermarket.

Great park! The staff are always lovely and super helpful. The artificial turf is a winner. School holidays would be great for kids (we dont have any 😆- but lots of activities happening. Free live music this afternoon - and they were actually really good! Gorgeous sunsets on the lake. Its expensive-ish in school holidays, but for good reason. Cant fault it. Dog-friendly too!

Great place for families. Very neat and clean, staff were really nice and helpful. Although busy, kids were still able to ride around the park and the daily activities run by the park were much appreciated by our kids. We will definitely be back

We came from north, south & west to celebrate a milestone birthday. We had stayed several times previously & knew it would be the perfect spot. Our family & friends have all vowed to return as they were blown away with the amazing amenities & how professionally run the whole park was. Cannot recommend highly enough. The rain has no impact on our overall experience. Look forward to visiting again!!!

This is one of those holidays where it is meant to be a relaxing caravan park with a boat launch and incredibly friendly staff. We waitied for months since our booking and had a restful 4 days in this place that I mentioned as a piece of heaven. Quiet and even live Music on Saturday evening. Just pleasant way to celebrate a weekend. Swimming pool and facilities were kept clean and very accessible. We will come again and explore Tuncurry area even more. One absolute feature of the park that really just made things easy is the tractor they used to park your caravan and pull it from the spit when you are done. The Astoturf is great for the kids and the caravan park is very pet friendly and you just dont see the combination of all of this in one park. A great time with my family and a piece of tranquility over a beautiful weekend.

This one of the best Cara Parks on the NSW coast. Its artificial lawn makes it clean, fresh and inviting to bare feet. The sites are large and best of all the friendly Staff place your van on the site for you. BONUS Marriage Saver!! Amenities are cleaned regularly and are of modern appearance. The recreation facilities are fabulous and you can bring your furry friends on a leash. Close to Forster and Tuncurry and the Coffee shop at the what more could you want.Highly recommended for families, grey nomads and any one else who want to chill out in camp luxury, Come and meet the Friendly welcoming Staff

Exceptional park. The sites are large and the artificial turf absolutely fantastic. Valet parking for the van amazing.Facilities spotlessly clean and second to none. Pool, playground and jumping pillow kept the kids entertained. Cafe had great food at reasonable prices. Staff throughout the wholePark friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to all and will definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic park. Great sites, great amenities, great for kids but also includes adults only pool / quiet area, surrounded by water and minutes from great surf beaches. As good a park as we’ve been too (the valet van parking and daily rubbish collection show they go the extra mile in all they do). Highly recommend and will be an addition to our regular places to visit and stay.

I have been going to Great Lakes for holidays for 3 years to catch up with family, and every time the experience just keeps getting better. The staff are amazing, the park is spotless and there is always something to do…Water Aerobics, live performances, free sausage sizzles 2 nights a week in the camp kitchen to mention a few.The Cafe is a great place to go and have a cuppa or get yourself something for lunch.Do yourself a favour, if you haven’t been to this park before put it on your bucket list now.
