The food is amazing here!! The chocolate chip pancakes are unbelievably fluffy and delicious!! Its a small and quaint restaurant with just the owner and his wife running the show. They are awesome.. Super friendly and great to chat with. Their service attitude & work ethic is amazing as well. The ONLY qualm I have about this place is the time it takes to get your food when its busy (which it most of the time is bc its so good lol- because its just his wife cooking in the back [I believe]. BB had mentioned to try calling in your order a bit before you wanna come in (and we live super closeso when you arrive, youre basically in line already and your food should be out shortly! Well definitely have to try that next time we go but I definitely recommend checking them out! We have most definitely found "our place" with this one and cant wait to go back this weekend 😊

I always try to find little mom and pop diners to go to, and this one was fabulous. The owner and (Im assuming?his wife were sweet and attentive. They made small talk which I always enjoy. I got a veggie omelet, cheese grits and oatmeal, and it was good home cooking. Definitely come support this diner!

A Breath of Fresh Air! A small venue that hides in plain sight! The Food is EXCELLENT! The Price is REASONABLE! The Service is FRIENDLY and EFFICIENT! Remember there is a parking lot to the right of the restaurant. Dont be afraid to wait in line or sit at the counter for this Unique Dining Experience!

Service was terrible! Not busy but ignored my order.

Had the frick track. It was good but nothing to write home about. The husband wife pair that run the kitchen are cute and like to chat with patrons. Prices are good.

The food we had was hot and delicious. My wife says they make the best French Toast in Sanford and we have tried them all. I had the Small Bee and it was great! Not the white sausage gravy I am used to, but more of a country gravy... still very good! We will be back and try their other dishes.

Dont ever order the chicken parmesan or the collard greens or their potatoes everything is from a bag from a can or from a box I got the chicken parm like I said it was a pre breaded piece of chicken cutlet that they had got out of a bag and fried it real quick and sprinkled some cheddar cheese on it I dont know what kind of chicken parm that was the collard greens were tasteless not one little piece of meat or nothing in there all you can do is taste the aluminum from the metal of the can and the potatoes was like paste you can tell they were boxed all the way it was absolutely disgusting they put absolutely zero effort into preparing anything fresh I dont think they know how to cook

The food was ok, but I wont be going back. After I placed my order, I got on my phone. Every time I looked up, the man( I assume is the ownerkept telling me that "My order was on its way. That it takes time to make"... OK, I never asked and I know they were busy. I was just patiently waiting using my phone.

The big hit was delicious 😋The customer service is awesome and the price is great! 😁 Will definitely come back

Smelled like mold and mildew, coffee was not strong it was brown water, my wife and I were there for 25 minutes and the only time we had a server was for the coffee with one other couple there. They were kind but bad service and couldnt get passed the weak coffee so we didnt even order food. The only reason I even give it a single star is because I have to pick one to post this. If I could post without even one star I would. No offense the the ownership but they need to make lots of changes.

I have never been to this restaurant however I have ordered many times through UberEats. The food is amazing every time and the portion size is great. No complaints.

Have been going to this establishment for 10 years never have I experienced anything that the 1 star reviewers have claimed they have experienced. Breakfast and lunch has always been top notch! The owner and his wife are very polite,professional and caring. The food has always been prepared exactly the same way portions and quality for the past 10 yrs I have been visiting this establishment.

I went yesterday and ordered the liver & onions. It had no seasoning I tried it in the parking lot and noticed it had green spots so I couldn’t eat it and didn’t want to cause a scene but they can keep the money and I’ll never return. The Mac and cheese/ Collard greens were unseasoned, old, and reheated in the microwave. There were no COVID restrictions and the tables were filthy. I did a pickup and not a Dine In. I chose this place because of the reviews. But I’ll never go back. FYI: Angels is across the street

This place has a nice atmosphereBut I did not like the food we walked in, and sat down at a table, it wasnt cleaned (in the Corona area, really makes you think)My wife ordered a liver stake, she said it was good but the mash potatos were not home made they were the powder type you buy at Walmart with no spices or even butter.And I ordered Hungarian goulash,What I got, was Mac & cheese, with a little bit of ground beef added to it.And the size of the portion my fill up a four year old, this is definitely not a place I would go back to, after there we were both disappointed and ended up going to McDonalds

I have been to restaurants all around the world and I love this place. I had the Mona Lisa omelette and it was fantastic and stuffed with the meat. My husband had he Hungry Man and it was wonderful and huge portion. My daughter had the Johnny and my son the bisquit and gravy. The owners are so kind and nice.

Amazing food! Great price, great quality. Came here for breakfast and got the Kevin, two biscuits with sausage gravy and two eggs any style. Real homestyle food, exactly the right amount. New favorite breakfast place for sure. Just dont tell my mom :D

I have now had breakfast and lunch from here. Dont let the outside turn you away. It is very good food. The owners do the cooking, cleaning, and waiting tables. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot .The open face roast beef sandwich was great. The fries are hand cut. The prices are amazing. Run to try the food.

You cannot beat BBees the Hospitality, Food and the welcome you are given when you come through the door. This family local is an amazing stop. There Omelettes are epic and great corn beef hash. I highly recommend.Great people, Great food and a Great atmosphere.

I’ve been battling with a disease that caused me to lose a lot of weight. On a day I was feeling good enough to eat, the owner embarrassed me by constantly going on and on about the weight I’ve lost. Then to only turn around and serve me half cooked food. My French toast didn’t have an toast to it (lightly toasted still soggyI asked for cheese on my eggs that had not melted it was laying on top. I was good friends with the owner and his wife but after today I’m highly embarrassed and disappointed. I will never go there again!!!

Very nice people work there. We went for lunch and the side dishes for my entree had been from frozen product. I was confused by the rating and quantity of reviews on Google.Its possible breakfast is much different, but lunch needs some work.

My kids and I ate here for the first time and we enjoyed it. From all of the things we got our absolute favorite has to be the pancakes! I would say in the future that I would just get pancakes, eggs & 🥓 bacon.You have to go in realizing its going to be a mom-and-pop operation so the service isnt going to be the fastest but the food is nice n homestyle. The decor is a bit dated but it adds to the old diner appeal.

I stopped on our way to school so could not get the full experience. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which was a little too floury for me but still good. Im super picky! My kid loved the chocolate chip pancakes and we will definitely try this place again.

Went to BBees diner in Sanford for brunch! Cute little hole in the wall! Service was amazing. I order over medium eggs and they came out over cooked and although I didn’t say anything, my server, Lisa, offered to have them remake them the way I wanted! Got a chocolate chip pancake (they’re in there I promiseand it was so fluffy and moist and had mini chocolate chips which are my favorite pancake addition! Also PRICING WAS AMAZING. my boyfriend and I got all food pictures here, chocolate milk and coffee for $21! Gravy wasn’t as spicy as I would have liked but nothing a lot of pepper can’t solve! Food took a bit longer than expected since there was only one other table in the restaurant but it was still delicious! Could definitely use a inside renovation and a new parking lot but as long as it doesn’t effect the taste or service (and it doesn’tthen who really cares!

I gave it one star because I couldn’t comment unless I gave it one. The owner was very nice and I like the throwback look. But that’s where it ends. I couldn’t believe how awful the food was. I got the meatloaf, and it was terrible. It didn’t look bad, but I got it to go. The mashed potatoes were instant and the gravy was probably store bought. But the worst part was my food was ice cold. It wasn’t even lukewarm. Ice cold like they took it out of the fridge and forgot to microwave it. I also got the gyro salad, and this was just as bad. Not as cold as the meatloaf but not even lukewarm either, and the sauce tasted old. It was a total waste of money, if I could’ve drove back there I would’ve gave that guy a piece of my mind. I really don’t know how it got all of these great reviews on here. I guess the people in Sanford don’t know any better. Worst restaurant ever.

We loved this diner. The old style was a cool place to visit. The coffee pot was always brewing, I was drinking most f it. Plan on taking your time as the food is made to order. The place was a little run down, lost 1 star for that, but it was worth the visit.

wonderfully friendly owners...how refreshing! reasonable prices, breakfast or lunch anytime (whenever they’re open - which is 7 days a week!),good coffee is REAL size coffee mugs, comfy diner atmosphere....if I lived close enough this would be my fav breakfast spot 👍. Yummylicious!

We have been coming here for a few years and just fell in love with the owners! Always great conversation, makes you feel like home. No matter what Mr.B does what he can to make you happy! Havent been recently but will be back soon! Great food and so much to choose from!

Checked this place out because friends wanted to get together for breakfast and I like trying new places. It was a very good choice! I will definitely return! The food was nicely portioned and extremely tasty! The prices are great! It is a little Mom & Pop place so a little patience is in order for serve time etc. The coffee was quite nice (I had several cups - not normal for me). I highly recommend the Irish Breakfast! Everyone got different stuff and all were happy with their orders. I definitely recommend this establishment if you are in the area!

What a great little restaurant! We were traveling on vacation and came across this little gem of a diner! Service was amazing and the food was home cooked and out of this world good!! Reasonably priced and they were able to accommodate our large party of 11 guests.

This place is so delicious. They have the best breakfast in Sanford hands down. The man who owns it answer the phone when you call and takes your order. He knows who I am by what I order and always make me feel like family. His wife always has nice words for me when she sees me. They are so patient with each other even when it’s very busy. I get the #2 Dually combo with grits and raisin toast. Delicious!!
