Balts is a great place to grab a takeaway or sit-in healthy breakfast and lunch. Love their wraps and salad!

I had the Salmon coconut with basmati rice. Enjoyed my meal that I only remembered to take pictures after. I love the neat and eco friendly packaging. Was a plus for me. The smoothie was fresh and crunchy how I like it. Not exactly cheap but I enjoyed the meal.

Very tasty Tofu, friendly staff and a modern and clean interior, but - although we’ve ordered everything to eat in - we’ve received a plastic wine bottle, plastic cups and plastic cuttlery. The plate and tea cup were made out of paper, which still is so unecessary.Especially if you’re advertising a clean environment and healthy lifestyle, please do your part, too.I’d personally prefer a less modern surrounding and less tasty food over producing that much plastic garbage with one meal.

!!!УЖАСНО!!! Вкус у суши не сбалансированный, суши с криветкой на вкус как суши просто с огурцом.Лапша вся сухая, единственная не сухая это лапша в соусе тиреяки. Порции супер маленькие. Пол тарелки с лапшой занимает ТРАВА(зелень), помимо этого заказ пришел почти холодный, но это уже больше к доставке вопросы. Либо на кухне нет печи для подогрева.Не важно какие вам до этого оставляли отзывы. Не измените подход тогда плохих станет больше. Не только у вас все плохо, у других суши тоже испортились, я думаю нужно поварам больше платить. Так как это ваши деньги.

Squized between two neighboring caffee-shops, it can be overseen. However THE Sushi and THE Deserts are to long for 🙂 nice stop to take a brake while being on a city-center run

Люблю здесь смузи! Очень неплохие зеленые салаты, упакованные в боксы.

Очень приятная обстановка, всегда светло, есть места - как внутри, так и снаружи. Приветливый персонал, который ответит на ваши вопросы.Еда вкусная, и на мой взгляд достаточно полезная по сравнению с другими заведениями. Цена соответствует качеству - 7€ за 12 штучек достаточно приемлемая. Если в наличие нет вегетарианских блюд, то можно заказать и цена останется такой же, без какой либо предоплаты.Единственные минусы - достаточно маленькое помещение, поэтому нельзя собраться всей компанией. Так же и использование пластика. Если брать еду на месте, стеклянную тару не дают. Не экологично!В целом очень понравилось.

Fresh sushi, a good option for a quick lunch. Plenty of options, but a little bit pricy compared to other food in Riga. Eco friendly takeaway boxes gets a tick from me.

Went for sushi the other day. I was expecting fresh sushi, but all of it was in the fridge in cardboard boxes. Some of them looked okay, but some of them didnt look fresh at all. And I went there at 11am. Were they from yesterday?So I ordered fresh rolls and they were nice. Lots of cream cheese in the rolls, which wasnt a problem for me but might be for some.And like others have mentioned here, the cardboard boxes are ridiculous. I mean I ordered fresh rolls to eat in. Why are they in a cardboard box??

Small sushi place, close to Riga Center. The food they serve has really high quality and is fresh, they offer vegan options, too.So the food is amazing and the staff is super friendly as well.Just the portions are a bit small for the prices.Further on the biggest minus point at this place is, that they serve, even if you eat at the place, everything on throw away plates. So your meal will produce a lot garbage, even though all of that is compostable.Sustainability seems not to have the highest standing at BALTS.All in all I had a really nice time here and got served very well! Just the garbage thing is bothering me a bit.

Cozy

The atmosphere theres pretty sleek, clean and nice! There is a modern interior, a lot of lights that brighten up the room. If you want to take-away vegan or just healthy food , this is the place for you. You can eat/drink there or just take it with you ready-made. Awesome!!!!

Lovely little place with self-service. Mostly fresh salads and sushi, smoothies, soft drinks. Healthy desserts are available as well.

Amazing sushi, very friendly owner lady. They also have a cool dog (dog friendly place), winner!!

Bad place

Viss ļoti garšīgs un svaigs. Ļoti garšo tofu salāti zemesriekstu mērcē un Čia pudiņš. Laba salātu un suši izvēle. Arī cenas pieņemamas (atbilst kvalitātei). Laba vieta ātrām, bet veselīgām pusdienām. Ēdieni tiek iepakoti videi draudzīgā iepakojumā.

Tasty food at reasonable price

Balts is a trendy place with welcoming staff and excellent food - always fresh and delicious. Haven’t found better sushi in Riga and the salmon is heavenly. Thumbs up for the environment-friendly attitude.

Balts made me grow a fondness for prepackaged takeaway food as everything they prepare is the same, good quality and Id available either at the spot or taking with you. The prices seem a little higher up front but even out compared to other places. The interior design is lovely and its usually not packed so its a nice place for studying or hanging out. They also offer a selection of interesting drinks, pocky and seaweed chips. Great place to check out.

My best dinner choice in Riga center – bistro “Balts”. Sushi, soups and desserts, exactly as I love!

Been here already many times. Healthy food, unique design, cozy atmosphere and great service! Definitely worth visiting over and over again! Recommend to everyone, especially those who care about the environment (all dishes are recyclable)!P.S. in case youre in a hurry, grab a soup which you can easily prepare later at home. ;)
