My local butcher. Amazing quality product, service and always expanding their range of offers and uncooked/ prepared items. Cater very well for large orders (with noticeor dietary requirements- like gluten free. Cant recommend any higher. Would rate with more than 5 stars if I could.

First class service top quality meats excellent staff

I buy in bulk, for example todays delivery 8×10oz rump steaks, 8×chicken thighs, 6 slices bacon, 3×ham off the bone, 1× Somerset cheddar plait. Its ALL good, NAH, GREAT! Last order I had minted lamb leg steaks (instead of chickenthey were SOOO GOOD! 1st time Ive had the cheese loaf, highly recommended by Julie who works there, MAN WAS SHE RIGHT! Ive been tearing pieces off to munch, no butter,no fillings just simply tear off&munch. Ive been trying to think of descriptive words to justify what my palate is enjoying...alas, I cannot. All I can say, my mouth, its EXTREMELY HAPPY & I will order everytime from now on in (thanks Julie). The rump steaks are always of top quality, the chicken thighs are fat(in good way), full of meat under that skin FAB for a ruby/stew. The bacon is thick, just how I like it& the ham, OH MAN its tip top & U will have to proper stop urself from munching the lot there+then! I also buy pork neck fillet there too, great for lots of dishes as its plenty lean. I personally like 3cm slices, bash, flour, egg&breadcrumb for schnitzel. The rest Ill make stir fry or summit, its THAT versatile. Thanks guys, speak to u soon & look forward to my next delivery. OH MAN THE PORK RIBS....UNBELIEVABLE!! Ask about marinades they have, taller them about what u want to cook & they will aide u,even straight out recipes! I bought a steak pie this time as pukka pies proper let me down, I cannot wait to eat that, apparently theyre proper moreish. EVERYONE BUY FROM BAKERS, BEST BUTCHERS ABOUT!!

Excellent local butchers. I get Chew Valley milk here in reusable glass bottles. Better milk than supermarkets have and no plastic bottles. 🖒
