B'Cos Brazil - Brazilian restaurant in Bundoora, Australia
Terrible service.... pretend they are Brazilian, this is a cheap version of Brazilian hospitality, But for oozies, is okay, as perhaps they dont know better this is their version of Brazilian food.
Great coxinha, but had to have one for take away only, since they didnt have any vegetarian options for my friend besides a quinoa salad or beans salad.
great service from staff and huge servings. some items were a bit too salty, but maybe thats how it is supposed to taste like.
The owner mistreats the workers. She yells at them and has a terrible mood, in the presence of customers, as if that wasnt bad enough. This place should not be open for business if things are not working properly.
My heart gets all warm and cozy every time I eat here. Authentic Brazilian food, best beans in town. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend this place. Thank you for being there for whenever I feel homesick and for showcasing a little bit of our beautiful country to this beautiful city.
Delicious Brazilian food in Melbourne. Love their bbq chicken
After nearly 5 years away from home I finally found a restaurant that has the authentic Brazilian Taste. The coxinhas are absolutely to die for and the Pão de queijo are unreal! The Staff and owner are so lovey and thoughtful. If you really want to have a taste of Brazilian food this is the place for it!
The food was very tasty, the caipirinha was delicious and the service was great. I recommend!!!
Delicious food, cozy, outstanding service and please do try the chocolate truffle!!!
The food was delicious, I felt in Brazil
On the run working here and there no time to sit in a restaurant and be waited on as you have limited time. Walk into this little world & you will be greeted with the warmest of welcomes, the menu explained served and seated. Fresh food for this price AMAZING. Don’t waste your time eating junk food if your short on time, come here it was a great accidental find. I will be back.
I love the food! Great please for have a good meal. The owner (Muabicare about the customers and always friendly as the staff.... If do you want a good food, chicken made on grill there is the place. I also have dinner there sometime on Friday, I love the “picanha” high quality of meat really well prepared. Highly recommend it
Good Brazilian food, cozy laneway eatery atmosphere and helpful staff explaining the concept and menu.
Spending a few weeks in Brazil and eating the local food will make an addict out of anyone. For a long time weve been wanting to visit BCos and after yesterdays dinner I can attest to the fact that the great reviews are well justified. Golden and crunchy on the outside , soft and savoury on the inside the coxinhas took me back to the canteens of Sao Paulo. My partner had the grilled chicken for her main course while I savoured beautifully falling apart carne assada with brown rice beans and a tangy quinoa salad that complimented the meaty savoury beef excellently. My primary craving though was for the Brazilian soft drink staple Guarana and when that box ticked from a well stocked fridge , my night was well complete. Consider us repeat customers!
Its 100% authentic, and I verified that with my Brazilian friend. He even said he thought about this restaurant when he was visiting home! You quite a big meal, with a lot of different stuff and a lot to choose from. Overall, it works perfectly for a quick lunch in the city.
The most genuine tasting Brazilian food I’ve been able to find in Melbourne so far, and a really nice vibe every time. I come here for their coxinha, pão de queijo, pichana (on the night menu), and always Brazilian style rice and beans. I must remember to go back for a feijoada night when they next have one!
I went to this place for a quick lunch and got a bbq chicken burrito. The chicken was cooked fresh. It was hot and juicy and the flavor was nice. It was topped with fresh veggies and beans. It had a nice texture and the flavors were good as well but I think that it is a bit overpriced. I thought the portion size could have been better, other than that food was of really nice quality.Outdoor seating is also available in the restaurant which on a sunny day is amazing. It is really nice to enjoy a nice burrito sitting in the sun. :D
I was at the restaurant just after Grand Final weekend 2019. The food here is amazing, just like the street style food you will find right across Brazil. The internal setting/decor feels like a Brazilian eatery, and the owner/staff are very pleasant with high customer service. The food is flavoursome, with a range of options for meat (including grill), sides and salads. The Pão de Queijo (Brazilian cheese breadis made by the restaurant, and is firm on the outside, and soft on the inside, which is exactly how it should be.I highly recommend this restaurant.
The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The food is perfect and in massive portions. The potato salad is exactly like my Brazilian friends make. I cant wait to come back to Melbourne so i can come back again!
The mixed plate is delicious and the beans stole the show
Absolutely delicious! The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food and drinks were incredible- so many gluten free options! I loved the atmosphere too - it was so homey and welcoming. Our whole experience made me forget I was in the middle of Melbourne city! Will be back!
One of my newest favourite spots in Melbourne. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is so welcoming and lovely and the Caipirinha drinks were so damn delicious! Loved it
I love these sorts of places. Small, crowded, lovely friendly staff, great food, good prices, and a pleasant surprise for all visitors. They take Liven coin, thats a bonus, but most importantly the food is fresh, Beutiful flavours, hint of spice and chilly. I had meatballs in a rich tomato based sauce that tickled my Italian taste buds, bococini cheese, avocado, etc and i already cant wait to go back and try the bbq chicken. If you want more spice every table has a bottle of hot chilly sauce. Im not a fan of Mexican burritos etc but Brazilian, yum.
I ordered the BBQ Chicken Burrito – its the best burrito Ive ever had. The chicken was tender and beautifully barbecued – a far cry from the typical bland, dry chicken experience. Even the beans and rice were flavoursome, which Ive found is rare for a burrito. They take their time, but its worth the wait – they carefully prepare the ingredients and meticulously construct it. My friend was with me, and they managed to serve both orders at the perfect temperature. Service-wise, the owner is a lovely, hospitable man.
Great food, great service, always crowded but in no time everyone gets served with the best food! Its a great deal for the price you pay.Secret hint, for those whod like to try the proper of eating "arroz com feijão" (beans with rice, the brasilian style), ask for some farofa (say fa-roh-fahat the end of the counter! 😊
I love that place, food is fresh and healthy. The staff is so lovely and nice ❤️. As mentioned previously it gets quite full during lunch so be quick :-that being said, service is super quick and you have a takeaway option too! Enjoy 😊
Amazing!! The food was fantastic and really filling. Super fresh and healthy. Highly recommend the vegetarian option with the zucchini fritters, havent had anything like that before it was a delight. The vibes are good too. Seating is indoor and outdoors. Service is really quick and easy. Be sure to beat the lunch rush though, although if you do the lines clear up fairly fast. Highly recommend!!!
i came across this place, i didnt know much about brazilian food, got good reviews here so i decided to give a go.poped in before noon, they were still preparing croquetts in the middle of tables. i felt like trying grilled chicken feito but wasnt ready and had to wait 45min or so. (i couldnt as i was starving!)i got served by a middle age lady and she was very friendly.i ordered half pork and meetballs with brown rice, beans, salad.pork was very tender and juicy, meetballs was tasty, full of flavour, moist and hint of chilli was good kick. although was a bit salty for me.brown rice was cooked very well, not hard like other places i came across!(and the lady was goinf to give me more rice but said no)beans were nice, although a bit salty again for me.gourcamole was good flavour, well seasoned.potato salad tasted like japanese potato salad!!mustve used kewpie mayo.really suprised.quinoa was well cooked, coriander salad was refreshing.everything was very very fresh, good portion and filling!!decor is cool, good music on, friendly staff. i really enjoyed😀
Everyone can enjoy or try the original taste of Brazilian dishes in the heart of downtown area. We can choose the various choice of dishes with variety of curries including starters, main course and sweets.
Fresh, nutritious, flavoursome and affordable. Im already partial to Brazilian food, so not hard to convince me to return here! Highly recommended for cheap lunch in CBD. Be mindful it is loud in true samba style though, so probably not best for an intimate date or work meeting.
Nice and simple restaurant with good flavour foods. We ordered Porco Assado and Coxinha (Brazilian Chicken Croquettesand they tasted pretty good. The chilli sauce they had added some extra elements to their dishes. It wasnt overly spicy and just enough to make a bit of tingling sensation on your tongue. The staff were friendly too.
For a hearty Brazilian feast you have found the right place in this cosy and friendly restaurant. With patrons diving on empty seats like seagulls diving for chips at the beach this is a very popular place for lunch. The menu is a little hard to follow on your first visit but the very welcoming staff will gladly guide you through it so you know what to do next time... and the time after that... and the time after that... and...
Great Brazilian eatery, a rare gem for Melbourne. Try the Guaraná and coxinha and wonder why they arent sold everywhere. For the cost conscious you are looking at around $20 for a good meal and it can also get crowded at times - but what good food place doesnt.
Kinda tasty but seems like strange setup in terms of what you can get without being charged extra. Its already over $15 for lunch so getting only a very small bit of avocado seems a bit cheap. Should be more generous.
Simple, tasty and high quality food. One of the rare places where I like just about everything. They save a selection of meats, sides, salads, and they combine them deliciously into great dishes. I go there regularly since I discovered it about 6 month ago and they keep the quality consistent - the same good experience every time I visit.I highly recommend to try Quinoa Salad with BBQ chicken.
I can find no faults. Great friendly service. Great atmosphere (lively catchy musicfor fast casual. Great food: Ive had both burritos and the pulled pork, and the little corn fritter balls; I recommend all of them highly. If they added some veggie sides, Id live here
Does it get any better? This place is fenomenal. Great Brazilian homemade cuisine! And, you get excellent service with a smile!I was in Melbourne for only a couple of days for business, but I cannot wait to be back in Melbourne and visit this place again.Thank you!
Brasilians assured me this is the genuine feijoada. Tastes like Serbian beans to me.
Go to place with a close friend...service with a smile & a laugh! Seating is quite close, so no privacy but thats cool! Id recommend not bringing small children due to space & the menu. Its quite rustic & unless your children are very easy going with food, its going to be a challenge. I always leave here satisfied & with a full belly🤘
Excellent destination for a quick and oh so delicious lunch. Staff are super friendly and enthusiastic with a vibrant Brazilian vibe. Sit outside and watch Melbourne alley life walk past. Definitely a favourite in the area.
Delicious food, homemade taste, can’t fault it. Shame they didn’t have the stew dish when we visited (feijoada). Snacks were fried to the order, quite a few options of salads, and the chef cooked bbq chicken upon our order as well (past 2pm). Service was very decent, will be visiting again.
Great experience here! The burrito that I had tasted fresh, healthy and delicious. The staff here are all friendly and helpful. They were very kind to tell me how things work here. Nice smiles as well!
Good place for a quick and yummy lunch during work.Love being able to pick what meats, veggies and etc I want. Good variety in a dish!Didnt feel sickly full eitherI would come here again.
Fresh, healthy and great tasting food in a continent location with great staff. What more could you want?!
Very nice Brazilian food. And I can say... Im Brazilian haha
Yum, Had teastest dish here, their slow cook meat is done to perfection. Staff were also very welcoming and had a great atmosphere.
Was a really great place to have a bite to eat. Friendly staff and fast efficient service! Got there early but was waiting for a couple of friends, staff alright for you to get a table while waiting. Only thing is, it is not so obvious for people looking for this place...maybe a couple of signs at either end of Equitable Place to let people know.
Delicious meals with a variety of portion sizes and mix n match options. Warm, fun and friendly service.
Wanted something different but healthy. I could eat here everyday and not get bored. So many choices; rice, meat, veg, toppings. Yummy goodness. Go for the large plate with the works. Wish I lived here.
Wholesome food, friendly and welcoming owner.I love that I can eat amazeballs food, bring my vegetarian and vegan friends and feel like Im in a family friends kitchen.Flavours are well balanced and its a simple well designed menu. Cant reccomend this enough ^^
