Azzahra Hotel - in Jerusalem, Israel
Azzahra Hotel in Jerusalem
Description
Quiet hotel in East Jerusalem, with great friendly service and simple, clean and modern rooms. Beautiful typical Jerusalem stone building from the turn of the 20th century, a few minutes walk from the old citys Damascus gate. Great restaurant serving local Palestinian cuisine. Well worth the money!
MoreExcellent pizza. The lasagna is more like a very cheesy soup and doesn’t really qualify as lasagna.
Moretry the pizza theyre doing 😋
Delicious pizza!
Visited the restaurant a couple of times. Both middle eastern and Italian food are great. Pizza is excellent. Taybeh (localbeer goes well with the food. Friendly service with very good English. Reasonable prices. Definitely a great option for lunch or dinner!
MoreHuge portions and a really good variety of local food and some international options
MoreNever disappoints, service and the food are Great!!!!
Gorgeous food though quality went down compared to what it was previous to the Covid period. Service gentleness and class still needs improvement…
MoreExcellent service and professionalism, the quality of the hotel is exceptional. The welcome is to the little care of customers, always with a smile and good humor.A very big thank you to James and his team for your daily advice.I recommend Azzahra hotel to all travelers who want to have a pleasant stay in Jerusalem.Looking forward to seeing you again
MoreWe went to have lunch, tried traditional dishes, a bit expensive but very tasty and nice. Good service as well, the only hiccup was when paying with a card, my bank registered the operation but their machine didnt, so we had to pay cash, and it is slightly inconvenient to wait for the bank to cancel the transaction, perhaps it was a 1 in a 100 thing but based on my experience Id suggest using cash. Best thing about the place is that it opens Friday and Saturday when most places are closed.
MoreThe best pizza in the city. No doubt! Tasty Palestinian cuisine is worth trying.
We went to the restaurant to taste Palestinian food. The food was amazing ! I surely recommend it!
MoreThe only place if you are tired of local food and like to appreciate some well cooked Italian receipt!
MoreThe restaurant is very classic and lavish , the food is very good compared to some of the other pizza restaurants in the city. The employees English speakers, which makes it essayer for the non Arabic or Hebrew speakers. When the restaurant is crowded the service becomes really slow.It could be a little expensive for an middle class person. For example, a small size pizza costs more than 52 NIS.
MoreVery good food and staff peoples from here are very kind and nice.
This place is in the heart of East Jerusalem. The setting is very warm, and the service os great. Probably the best pizza in Jerusalem is there.
MoreI ate at the hptels resturant. It was very delicious and fresh
Amazing food and really friendly staff
Fantastic food. Local cuisine and Italian style pizzas etc. Will be coming back for sure.
More**Restaurant**: Delicious interpretations of traditional Palestinian home cooking, now coming back to life as COVID recedes. Features a range of dishes, including vegetable ones, that weve not found at other restaurants (like mulukhiyya, tajin, mansaf, mahshi, etc.). The bar selection is also wide, and the attentive, friendly service and ambiance put our group at ease. Altogether, the selection and value make this hotel restaurant a cant-miss venue in East Jerusalem.
MoreAmazing restaurant with delicious Palestinian food! We loved it!
Very helpful staff. And a warm welcome. Clean rooms and delicious food!!!.
We had dinner here only There were 12 of us.It is a local place but we were with Majd from 206 tours. The chicken and vegetable rice was delicious a and cooked in a big pot.It could have used more vegetables. You could get coke cola or wine or beer. They also had pizza.
MoreQuiet, authentic, and friendly staff: it is a real gem. Good food in the restaurant as well.
MoreBest meal and atmosphere in Jerusalem in a 1 week trip. Will come back. Great Service in English with polite and not harassing at all. Very happy
MoreVery confortable stay. The Restaurant is a must, we ate there every night. Very nice stuff. Only minus, the hotel was in renovation, but the result is very nice

MoreGreat hotel hidden away from main street. Fresh lovely food + wine. Very attentive staff
MoreThis post is related to the restaurant. Amazing service, nice location and the food is very lovely. They do have large variety of meals including traditional local food as well as makluba, mlokheye and mansaf - and it tastes very well. It is also remarkable to say that the place is very clean and looks very authentic. We loved it
MoreQuattro carni pizza - probably the best in Jerusalem. Taybeh beer - an absolute must.
MoreVery nice Palestinian restaurant . Food delicious and good quality. Place suitable for large groups but it is better book in advance.
MoreRestaurant: tasty food for a reasonable price with a very friendly staff. Much recommended.
MoreA good place for pizza and other foods and you can drink a cold beer or wine.
First hotel in Jerusalem. Huge tall rooms very refined classical inside. Rooms have local fruit as gift. Morning breakfast is great. Make sure breakfast included in meal
MoreVery good location but very expensive for what we got. Rooms are very small and need a lot of work doing. Only reason got 3 is because of the breakfast.
MoreGreat restaurant, very tasty pizza with a thin crust
Its the absolute best, on every level. Ama axing staff, delicious breakfast, clean and beautiful
MoreMy husband and I did a self tour of Jerusalem and we chose the Azzahara hotel because it was Within walking distance Of the main gates of the old city of Jerusalem. The Azzahara has a wonderful breakfast buffet , an old fire oven for some of the best pizza ever, a great menu for dinner., and wine selections galore. The employees are just wonderful., we were greeted with homemade lemonade and a big smile when we checked in. Room service is available and really comes in handy after a long day of site seeing. We truly appreciate the kindness from all the employees., they were so helpful to us.THANK YOU TOO YOU ALL ,Douglas and Peggy <><
MorePizza was great - crisp thin crust. Nice garden setting. Service was average.
Good Pizza. Palestinian dishes are served as well. Friendly service
Good place to stay. Very close to the old town. Very nice crew, fantastic people. Rooms cleaned everyday (towels changed too). I recommend to take option with breakfast!
MoreReally comfortable beds and lovely powerful hot showers in rooms. We had a lovely quiet room on the first floor with Three beds. Soap and shower gel provided. Fresh linens daily. Location: approx fifteen mins walk to masjid al aqsa. Highlight of the hotel; the staff! Amazingly courteous and going above and beyond. Will return!
MoreUsed this hotel to eat out at night as our hotel did not server alcohol. It turned out to be a good choice as the food was excellent and the staff were super attentive.
MoreAll people there were very nice and ready to give useful advice. Restaurant of the hotel offered tasty food. Breakfast buffet was OK.
MoreHidden culinary gem of east Jerusalem. Great variety of pizzas, salads and Palestinian food.
MoreVery friendly, fair prices, very good kitchen.Old rooms but charming.
The rooms here are nice and spacious. Its about in the center of everything I needed and the bus is only about five minutes away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the AC works nicely. The restaurant is also wonderful and has a great selection of Palestinian food and pizza. It was on the slightly pricy side, but worth a visit.
MoreSome of the best pizza in Jerusalem. Friendly quiet place. They also have an amazing oven and great story. Check this place out.
