totally worth it. now they have redone the roof. will be awesome. great location. schwedagon is right there. markets, shoooing, good food at this hotel.

Good Service & nice view

Hardest bed Ive slept in here in Yangon and the smallest room Ive ever stayed in. Their standard room is really fit for one person and their wifi sucks.Smells fainty like cigarettes and theres some cobwebs in the bathroom. Dislike the wet bathroom style.The only good thing about Azumaya is the Pagoda rooftop view.

Best location. Few minutes walk to shwedagon pagoda east gate. Rooftop restaurant with pagoda view is awesome.

Lavender Hotel is located in a great location, walking distance (500 metersto Eastern gate of Shwedagon Pagoda. The restaurant on top floor of the hotel. The food, service, and view are great! WiFi is not slow, need to improve!

Good location near the market night n temple

Nice hotel very close to the Shwedagon Pagoda. The rooms are small but trendy. The wifi is very strong and included in the room rate. The breakfast is extensive and with lot of options to choose from. The terrace offers great views of the pagoda but is currently closed due to construction.

Good service for price. Breakfast is not kept hot so get there early if youre concerned. It seems to be a running theme here in Myanmar.

All staff is very nice. Good location, near Shwedagon Pagoda and a lot of taxi for going to attractions in Yangon. (I use grab taxis application)

Great location. The hotel location was next to Shwedagon pagoda. You can walk to east gate by 5 minute. There are surround by myanmar old town ; local street market which sell everything from fresh meat until fresh food, flower market, temple, local tea shop. And the hotel roof top is hidden gem of these place. You can see yangon in all around and stunning with a view of Shwedagon which in front of you. The price approximately below 50 usd. include breakfast. Such a great place to start explore Yangon.

Breathtaking view!!! Very nice rooms! Book via Agoda and just prepay. Youll get the best price and no hassles (i.e. their CC payment system is dependent on their iffy internet - which apparently is fairly standard in Myanmar).

Location is good, it is very near one of most pagoda in Yangon, it take you 2 minute by walk to, there is small local market infort of the hotel and street foot whole day that you can stay hotel all day and arround this place to review local people life. Recommend to stay

Good hotel close to the big pagoda. Very friendly staff, fantastic view from the rooftop terrace. It‘s clean and all in all a good choice for a short stay in Yangon.

Lovely Hotel: Best rooftop view of the Shwedagon Pagoda and close to many parks. Room was cozy and clean, had a nice buffet breakfast with coffee as well. Staff were incredibly friendly and even called a taxi for us and made sure about our bus departure detials.

Fair Price & Nice View Hotel

Great location and service. I accidentally made an error on the dates that I booked and they fixed it with no issues. Front desk was helpful in calling for drivers and providing local information. I didnt try the breakfast they offered.

Our check in was late, about past 9am. Kitchen staff still served breakfast for us, regardless of time. Upon arriving, front desk person asked for our passports. Checking-in was smooth & easy. One of their staff helped us with our luggage. He also gave us instructions on how to manipulate the a/c.Room and restroom were clean and presentable. Everything was working fine- a/c, television, heated water, hair dryer.Kitchen staff during breakfast are sooo kind and always smiling. We got unlimited sunny side up 😬😬😬The location of this hotel is close to Mahi Wizaya Pagoda. There is a little market right at the entrance of this hotel, just a heads up. I am attaching pictures of my personal experience.There is also an elevator, hence you will you have no trouble going up / going down. There is also a security guard right by the entrance hence you feel more secure.Thank you so much Hotel Lavender! I look forward to coming back! You have stellar staff.

Check in around 4 pm. and family room is spacious, but very hot as the sun is on the side. The tiny air conditioning just did not work, we asked for a new room but staff asked us to wait. We were baked for a couple of hours then went out and asked for new room. When return 2 hours later, we got same room and still warm and staff played with remote for .5 hour before gave us a new room. The new room is the same condition hot with tiny air conditioning. We will not return here again..!

Ok place. Nice clean hotel but Internet was very slow. Also the road where it is located has lot of traffic. Breakfast was just bread, coffee and juice. Would have expected more

The hotel has a fantastic view of Shwedagon Pagoda when you go up on its rooftop. You can walk to Pagoda in only five mins. The neighborhood is Bahan market where you can find cheap street food. The staff are helpful, friendly and kind. Some of them cant understand English but still helpful. The breakfast is so so, but the juice and coffee are not good.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff, and great views of the Shwedagon Pagoda. Its within walking distance of the pagoda and a nice restaurant called Signature Fine Dining (average US restaurant prices - about $12 USD per person).The bathroom bath/shower had no curtain, and the A/C takes some time to cool the room. But overall we were quite happy to stay here.The front desk manager gave us good tips on how to get places we were wanting to see.

Small rooms, the service was ridiculous, just like the breakfast they served... But stunning view from the terrace on rooftop on shwedagon pagoda...

Both rooms I stayed in had "No Smoking " signs but there were ashtrays in the room. Both rooms smelled like cigarettes. Bathrooms arent that new. TV is fuzzy. The staff is very nice including the gate men. Breakfast was ok. Theres a rooftop but its called PenHouse (PH). The view from the roof of Shwedagon is beautiful during sunset. Location is good.
