This place gives a taste of authentic Ghanaian cuisine through a wide array of local dishes. The food choices are just amazing and catered to the taste buds. The meals i tried were so good i wish I had more space to keep going. The local drinks are also to die for and the variety was also outstanding. The buffet set up just works as food is ready on arrival, so no long wait especially knowing how much time such good takes to make. There is an a la carte option but i would say, no need to bother. When it comes to service, the staff were exceptional and on top of their game. They tended to customers in such a diligent manner. The traditional outfit of the waitresses was just a splendid display of culture. All other staff turned out smartly in true African fashion. The ambiance was just amazing too. I give Azmera 100% and it is an experience i intend to enjoy again. I strongly recommend it to others.👍🏿

Great service! Ms White was outstanding. Delicious local and continental dishes. Interesting birthday bash - our table got a spill over of the birthday cake. Wonderful atmosphere. Clean washrooms. Looking forward to a repeat visit.

Im not a native of Ghana, but I think this restaurant is a proper representation. The buffet was clean, safe with precautions in place and the food was delicious!! I loved the experience and left satisfied and happy. I will definitely visit again!!

This is by far the best African restaurant experience I have ever had and I have been lucky enough to experience a number of African restaurants including in Paris, in SA, in Washington, just to name a few. While in a buffet style, the setting is perfect to taking a plethora of delicious delicacies. The staff is super courteous, and well informed.

Azmera, has the best African cuisinedisplay to relish. I love their typical Ghanaian touch giving it the ambiance I always relish. Kudos to this Ghanaian woman I am so proud of. This place is very nice and has a lot of varieties of local Ghanaian dishes. Also have some continental dishes. Same thing with the drinks, lots of local drinks.This is a buffet style restaurant but its only for the rich. This is not your average Ghanaian restaurant. Both drinks and buffet is expensive.

The most over rated restaurant and probably one of the most expensive also in Accra. Ordered Fried Rice and this looks like overnight stock and Nothing special bland and Mehhh . Im looking for zero reviews but cant find it. Customers should not expect any wow factor here and only an over rated reviews .Would not order nor dine here. Better restaurants and cuisines out there..

We enjoyed the food when we was in Ghana. Me and my family will definitely go back there again.

The staff was polite, however the food was not good. When we arrived, we were asked to wash our hands and wear a face mask, which I did not object to. We were offered the buffet. I said I wanted to order ala carte but 2 of my friends decided that they wanted to order from the buffet. When we were seated, we were told that they would not be replenishing the buffet, therefore only the food remaining was available. A few minutes later, at 7:10 pm, the waiter told my friends the buffet was not available anymore. The restaurant is supposed to close at 9 pm.We ordered groundnut soup and it was luke warm. The Red Red was not tasty either. Unfortunately I will not return based on my experience and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.

I have been to Azmera two other times in previous years to dine in at the buffet. This time I decided to go to the website and take a look at the current prices before deciding to go back. There’s an advertisement for something called Xpress Specials on the official website. If you scroll down you see Xpress specials for 35ghs and 45ghs. My husband called to confirm these prices. On the website it says the palava sauce Xpress special is 35ghs but when we called they told us it’s 45ghs. We also ordered fufu with light soup which is 45ghs on the website but when we went there to pick it up they charged us 55ghs plus 19% tax. Something that was advertised to be a total of 35 plus 45 turned out to be 45 plus 55 plus another 19% tax. That’s false advertising. The price was 35 on the website, 45 on the phone, and then surprise 55 when we came to pick it up. I am disappointed in the dishonesty with the prices. It was all in the same day. How can it go from 35 to 55 in the same day.

I am impressed with the high sanitary levels. Wearing of masks is enforced as well as washing of hands. Enough wash basins around. Gloves are worn before plates and food are touched. All of the above together with the assorted local dishes you get to sample make up for the small car park available.

Food is very good! There is a parking area n seat for toddlers to use and enjoy their meal. If you are new to this place or dont have enough on you, dont go on a Sunday . Its their buffet n its quite expensive. 290gh per person aside that the food and drinks especially the local ones are superb.

Too expensive too much safety still on COVID-19 rules. Couldnt enjoy it too cramped up. Lots of similar Africa food. Bit greasy food. However staffs were very nice 🙂👍

My friends food took forever to come and the excuse used was it took 40 mins to fry common egg. Aside that the place was beautiful and the food was good.

Your local buffet eatery where you get practically any local food you can think of to eat all you can. The only place I know where they serve UN soap.... 😆 🤣 😂. But if you have low appetite like me, then you need a foodie to consume for you

Azmera has consistently showcased the best of Ghanaian cuisine. I am always blown away by their lavished setting and food presentation. You could find dishes that encompasses all tribes, from north to south or east to west. I think the meal selection gets overwhelming. However the meals are tasty and enjoyable. It’s a pleasant experience any day.

Beautiful place to have the best of local dishes in town, with the village taste. Just that their okro soup isnt the best Ive tasted and needs attention.

I was just so happy!But the price, Chale some dey inside. 250ghc!!! I can still feel it in my pocket but I’m glad I got to experience it.Water and drinks come at additional cost. Free wifi.I will say figuring out what to eat can get overwhelming. Be sure to walk around and take your time to look at your options . Don’t let anyone rush you.The staff were fairly nice and helpful. I love the food setup and the traditional wear of the staffTheir bathroom is really nice too.

My favourite restaurant in Ghana (can even say in the world), I salivate when Im visiting. Exceptional taste and varieties of local Ghanaian delicacies, excellent services and experience which is delivered consistently. Cant visit Ghana without trying them out, every single time.

Home away from home when it comes to variety of indigenous Ghanaian foods and delicacies. They offer buffet that you can eat whatever you want. Great environment and services by the attenders to compliment with. The location is North Ridge, a high browl area in the city of Accra. COVID-19 protocols strictly adhered to.

I was very satisfied eating at this Authentic Ghanaian Restaurant. They day we came in they were only serving a buffet for lunch, and I generally dont like buffets because I believe the quality of the food is not very good, even though you can eat as much as you want. Well this buffet was excellent and the food was great. Service was very good, the staff was very attentive, and the owner ensured that customers were happy and things were running smooth. The restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were clean. An excellent place to eat while in Accra.

We came here on a Sunday so the buffet was obligatory. The food was not worth the prices, but the atmosphere was very nice! I essentially paid $65.00USD for peanut soup, banku and a drink 😕😕. Some of the items were cold. The bathrooms were clean! I really appreciated the observance of strict covid -19 protocols.The food I did eat was good.

So I visited Azmera for the first time in a long time today. When I got there today I was awed about how many things had changed. The ambience alone was refreshing comparing it to the old Azmera. And what really got my attention was their deliberate attempt to ensure everyone touching the food at the buffet table was doing so in hygienic conditions. Everyone wears disposable rubber gloves after sanitising hands, cutleries are all packed in disposable rubbers and sealed, plates are warm and you get to clean your hands with really hot towel. For food it’s always good as they are known for good dishes when it comes to local foods.I had atseke, grilled tilapia with grounded red pepper, had some apreprense and then some fresh fish light soup. Staff are well mannered and cultured.Basically if you want to eat your local food in an exotic way just go to Azmera Restuarant.

I LOVED THIS PLACE! If you ever go to Ghana, Accra and you dont go here for food: AM SORRY! A buffet of Ghanaian dishes and delicacies awaits you at Azmera. We rendered our services at Azmeras staff party. #BruceServices. Cocktails, waiters and everything events. It was great, energetic and lively. Azmera was on point. Great restaurant and welcoming staff.

The layout at this restaurant was lovely and nicely decorated with traditional Ghanaian cloths. And there were wall hangings with the representations and names of various cloth patterns. I was impressed by the variety of authentic Ghanaian dishes and beverages on offer. And the buffet ensures that you get to sample as many of those meals as you can. Needless to say I left absolutely full. For anyone curious about local meals in Ghana, this restaurant must definitely be on your list.

Best African Food and theme restaurant I have visited so far. You get all the African tradition( the food, fireplace, cups and plates...in very modern setting. Service itself is also very good with polite and nice servers in traditional African attire. The cleanlyness and decorations of the place is also at a high level. Next time I am in Accra I definitely need to come back.

I could go on and on and on about Azmera and never get tired!So this weekend we went there for a colleagues get together. Kai! The moment I entered, I felt at home. I was welcomed with a smile. Azmera is Rich in Africa but globally targeted.Their buffet style food keeps you coming for more ( with that beautiful tall lady telling you to eat moreI was spoiled with food there.We went with kids and they made sure they also had their fair share of the delicious food, at their preferred place too! What more do we want?Apparently we wanted more so they gave it to us! They gave us good delicious food, good customer service, awesome waitress who always there to assist you.As I said, I could go on and on and on about Azmera but my food is getting cold. I have real mixed feelings about this restaurant. I had heard good things about the place so chose it as a destination for a family lunch. It’s a lovely restaurant with great simple decor, clean and tidy. We weren’t given a food or drink menu so I can only assume there are none. On arrival we were given juice which appears complimentary but think again. Ghc15 for a glass of Sobolo (hibiscus/ sorrelis daylight robbery! Pineapple juice was ghc17. My 2 yr old don was given about 200ml of pineapple juice and it was charged on the bill as a full glass until I complained. Ghc6 for a small mineral water. The prices are inappropriately high for drinks.The good was very good. Some of the best local restaurant food I’ve eaten in Accra so far but at ghc150 per head I expect nothing less. It’s definitely pricey. Staff are friendly and attentive which was lovely. A lady who appeared to be the owner runs a tight ship, with high standards.Be aware that they don’t permit photographs of their buffet. I must admit, that was a first for me.Before receiving the bill the whole family agreed we should return but after seeing the exorbitant pricing they all decided it’ll be a rare occurrence.
