Ayaspaşa Rus Lokantası - Russian restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey
The food is delicious, the staff is great at their job. The restaurant is there since 1943 which is amazing for İstanbul as things change all the time in this mega city. Live music was a surprise. Recommended!
Food is decent, lovely interior, reasonable prices.
Must try! The chicken is very juicy and tasty.
Very cozy and nostalgic atmosphere. The live music is lovely. The food itself is decent and I rate the yellow vodka very highly. All in all a very good place to dine. I have become a semi regular here even though I do not live in the area. Requires reservation. Offers valet parking services.
First time having real russian food, everything was delicious and authentic. Was so good I got it twice in the same vacation
You should call for a reservation in advance. The best dish in my opinion is pork shashlik - best one I had in my life. Dont order selyodka since the portion is extremely small. The atmosphere is amazing, and it is actually a historical restaurant
Ochiiiin kusnaaaa!! We like spend time with our russian family in thıs amazing russıan Restaurant
Nice old-fashioned Russian restaurant, quiet atmosphere, delicious traditional Russian dishes, good location, good service
The food is acceptable but the service is too slow and the hygiene is not that good
Loved it. Clean, near and they cook tasty food. First time tried Russian cuisine, its delicious. Fish and borç soup was yummy. Russian ravioli was real good.
Very well
its pricey for the quality of the food you get. Though it has a nice ambiance
Amazing place! Everything is delicious and the place is nice. The waiters are also very kind and helpful.
Like stepping into a small join in Moscow. Great good, generous portions, and cool community and vibe. Make sure to try their Gvas (basically bread soda), they do it really well!
Way more than a restaurant. This place is a whole experience. You will find amazing food and live music (we had Russian/classic piano-voice duet). Must try!
Russian music on the piano, good vodka and tasty bites.
Ayaspasa Russian Restaurant has a very authentic and beautiful atmosphere. It makes you feel like visiting a place from 40s. The service is excellent, they have live Russian music and food is delicious. I would strongly recommend everybody to visit there. In my experience the only missing part was tea as it is not served even though tea has a major role in Russian life :)
To begin, the woman who waited on me was kindly and attentive. In addition, the warm wood ambiance of the place is quite comfortable. However, for what I paid (270 tl), the quality of the food, particularly the ingredients, were not what I expected. French fries with stroganoff? In a classy place like this? Moreover, a number of menu items I tried to order were unavailable. Finally, the prices on their online menu are substantially less than the printed edition. Not a good way to build commited clientele.
Service is slow, but food is quite nice, prices are reasonable, and place is warm. The borscht soup was the best.
Great a cute Russian restaurant near taxim square. We ate there for the lunch break, super delicious Russian salad and chicken kievski (a bit took longer than we thoughtrecommended
Nice restaurant but almost of costumers Turkish not Russian
Great place, great service and excellent food ;)
Great food, welcoming atmosphere, overall great experience
Nice and cosy and friendly with good food!
Quite nice restaurant. The prices are fair and the food is rather good. İt is strange that borsch was without meat. But the other food we took was tasty. The herring under coat (selyodka pod shuboiwas really delicious. The interior is nice as well. İt looks like Russian cafe before October revolution.
Authenic russian food. very good. would come again 100%
Full Russian experience - the restaurant is furnished in Russian style and Russian music is playing in the bacground. The food is very good.
Not the best one Russian restaurant in my life, but its ok, if you miss Russian dishes, or never tried it before.
Not everything is superb, but overall quite satisfactory. Aubergine rolls are really tasty. The vodka is something else altogether.
Great place... Mixture of history with nice service, delicious Russion cousine & "yellow" vodka!
Good place, good russian food. Inconvenient entrance, nice and clean cafe.
Definitely one address to visit. The food is delicious and the decoration is lovely. The staff is also adorable. I recommend you book your table in advance. The place is small and tends to fill quickly
Very good authentic Russian food in Istanbul!
Amazing food, great service and very nice atmosphere
Great little place with a retro vibe. Good variety of delicious Eastern European food.
Favorite restaurant in town. Vodka and russian cuisine!
Great food, personnel could be less bossy and more pleasant
Nice food at reasonable prices. Waiter not very friendly!
been there 2 times. one of the best restaurant i have ever been in. everything was perfect .that includes side dishes, drinks, desserts and main the course. i cant wait to go back.
Silent, cozy place with good service, the food is good
If you like to Russian Cusine this is the one and only restaurant in Istanbul. Over 75 years experience and a cozy atmosphere make this place very unique for it’s guests.
Excellent food, good service and a different overall experience
If I knew how, I’d give this place 0 stars!I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I’ve seen people get better service at a garbage dump!We came here to celebrate the birthday of our friend and other than eating what can only be called mediocre tasting food, we also received disturbingly horrible service with a big price tag on it 👎The staff was terrible with no manners to the extent that I’m having trouble describing it!At some point, we wanted to have the cake for the birthday, which we brought ourselves to the restaurant. The bag in which we brought the cake included some sparklers and candles. Not only did they lose the sparklers, but they also wouldn’t even let us choose the amount of candles to place on the cake! (P.S. they put like 6 candles and we weren’t even trying to put that many)The waitress which apparently only came to argue with us spoke purely with anger, attitude and almost lashed out to my friend like she was scolding a child! The waitress also told us that she prepared the cake and wouldn’t let us arrange it ourselves or even let us check the box/container for the sparklers we had! They definitely managed to spoil our mood and ruin what could have been a decent birthday dinner!
One of the best Russian restaurant in Istanbul. Try schnitzel -so tasty, and also desert is also advised.
a lovely place good food, service, music
Very friendly and attentive service, good food, reasonable prices. Wine options are limited though. Will come back :)
Great atmosphere, even better food and service. With such an affordable price! Cant wait to come back here.
Good service, very nice interior and ambiance, quality food and good portions, non smoking!
Authentic and old place to taste Russian food
Marvellous place! Divine food! Amazing owner! It takes you to a different world of a different era. Love this place!
