Very good treatment by attentive and dedicated staff. Beautiful environment and atmosphere in Istanbul’s jewel. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Well looked after.

It was a fantastic experience in Istanbul; when you arrive, they will lead you to the changing room; then you will go inside the bath; they will use the hammam bowl to pure water on you from head to toe; you need to have the skill to hold the breath tho, relax for 15 mins to start sweat, and open up your pores, then you will experience a soothing and softening bath massage. When you finish, they will serve Turkish tea and some sweet snacks for you to relax on the couch. I will be back again.

If you are in Turkey, you must do a Turkish bath experience. Why wouldnt you?There are separate spas for both men and women with similar treatments.My husband and I elected to do the massage and traditional bath. We loved it!The gals inside as so friendly and welcoming. The bath was warm and relaxing and the bubble massage/dance was mesmerizing and felt wonderful.We really didnt need to add the massage to the service - it was 20 minutes or so long and really wasnt any better than the massage that is included in the bath experience.Highly recommend.This location is very classy bc it is affiliated with the Sultan and is very historic. This makes it much more expensive.There are several Turkish baths further away into the city for much less - but we wanted to be nearby to our hotel and were OK with paying a higher price.

My time in Turkey 🇹🇷 was special and on the last full day in Istanbul I treated myself to a bath. Kaya was my attendant and she did an amazing job! I left the hammam feeling rested and relaxed.

Great experience, the hammam and massage was amazing. They did a thorough job! The lady that did my hammam and massage was amazing and each lasted at least a good quality 30 mins. We got served with nice Turkish tea and delights during and after. Highly recommend!

Hammam was beautiful, service was great. I only got the 45min Turkish bath. It was quick though. Ersen my masseuse was extremely nice and accommodating. It came highly rated as one of the historic hammam. World I go back, probably but only to treat myself every so often. It is pricey.

Easily of the most unique things Ive ever done. This place was recommended to me and Im very satisfied with the experience. I didnt know what to expect but this exceeded it by far. The staff treat you like royalty, and my bath assistant/ masseuse Hourkan was simply perfect and professional. The hammam bubble bath was like nothing Ive felt before; my skin felt like butter after. The setting is so clean, so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!

Love it was the most beautiful experience in my life go and try it

This was my first experience at a hamam and it was incredible! First,the steam room, then a rinse with hot water, next is a scrub and soapy bubble bath/massage followed by a tray of Turkish coffee, Turkish delight, water, and fresh fruit. After we lounged and ate, we were given hour-long hot oil massages and sent away with parting gifts. They spoke English well enough and were really gracious and provided a wonderful experience. This the most expensive hamam, but worth it to have a truly over-the-top experience. Be prepared with cash to leave at least a 15% gratuity.

What an amazing place. The building is beautiful and very inviting. The customer service and massage therapist are just 5 starts; they strive to make you feel like a Sultan lol.I booked a full 110 mins service with Yasin and walked away feeling like a new person. I will definitely comeback. Thanks again to all the stuff for such a wonderful experience.

Pure opulence. I booked for a Zek-i-Sefa treatment with Hurrem Sultan Hammam months in advance knowing that its the best Hammam in Istanbul and I was not disappointed.After the warm bath and a thorough full body scrub, I was massaged on a warm marble slab with bubble foam. My experienced therapist kneaded away my sore muscles skillfully. She then proceeded to massage my scalp as she shampooed my hair, this was followed by a rinse off. Next my therapist performed an aromatherapy massage so well that I could easily slip into a comfortable nap. Throughout the entire treatment, my senses were indulged with lovely Turkish ethnic music and bathed with warm jasmine and rose scented oils.Would love to indulge myself here again!

Amazing place. The architecture is breathtaking, treatments out of this world. One feels like a time traveler, as our bodies are restored to a relaxed and clean state.

This place is for tourists. I am a tourist so it was great. Probably isn’t the cheapest but it was well worth the cost. They walk you through the entire process so there is nothing to fear. I was on the edge but I’m glad I went. It was a real hard core massage not just a sissy running their hands across you. I now need to figure out how they made so many bubbles!!! If you are around the area don’t miss it!!

Really loved the experience here. It’s one of the more authentic feeling Hammam experiences in old town of Istanbul with a great skin exfoliation and deep tissue bubble massage. Wonderful.

Wonderful experience. I think US culture has gone terribly wrong somewhere for not having assimilated Turkish bathouses as part of daily life. I feel cleaner than....well forever. Prepare for an amazing scrubbing and massage that is both relaxing and evigorating. All this in an amazing historic building that may have inspired Miyazakis bath house design in Spirited Away.

Would it be going too far if I said this was life changing? Maybe, but I’m not sure. Aysa (pronounced Aishawas amazing. This was such a wonderful, relaxing, and amazing experience in the most beautiful area in Istanbul. I hope to return soon!

This place is beautiful but very expensive and right in the midst of tourist area. It is an ancient building, giant marble bath area, you do get scrubbed among other women with nothing but a disposable thong so try to just enjoy the experience and not think about others around you.The products used are nice, some cheaper hammam use cheap quality soaps. The basic treatment got me a scrub, massage, and hair wash with conditioner followed by relaxing with tea and fruit.I highly recommend trying it just for the experience. They are very professional and clean, and you get to keep your glove

WHAT TO EXPECT: from a scrub: men and women have separated entrances and spaces. You will be led to a private booth to change into mesh/paper(?black underwear. Not sure if there’s a top for women. Then you’ll be led into a grand marble room where you’re doused repeatedly with water from a beautiful bowl and fountain. Be careful to take deep breaths before they get your face! You’ll then continue to douse yourself for a few minutes and then be scrubbed down and exfoliated. Seeing swirls of skin come off is disgustingly delightful. Then you’ll be guided to a large marble slab and lay down - it’s more comfortable than it sounds - and covered in magnificently thick blankets of bubbles. You’ll be scrubbed down and washed off. Others may be in the same room but everyone is so busy closing their eyes to avoid water that you’ll hardly notice them. When it’s over you’re led into the entry area and invited to lounge in a chaise with fresh Turkish delight (the first time I’ve enjoyed itand yea or coffee, and juice! What a fantastic experience and a way to feel transported back in time!

Went with my mom-it was our first time going to a hammam.I genuinely don’t think any hammam/spa experience will be able to top this!We had Ayşe and Kevsar attending to us for the hammam part+ massage and they were amazing! They were both so very sweet and worked so hard.The place itself was very clean and beautiful, with marble and stained glass windows.The little Turkish delight they gave to us with was actually the best Turkish delight we had on our trip too!Will have to come back someday…

It’s probably the most famous hamam in Istanbul. That’s why prices are high, but I think it’s totally worth it. The cheapest hamam experience costs 85 euros (august 2022). I went with a friend and we had a great experience: hamam includes full body scrubbing and amazing bubble massage. After that they serve you some pomegranate juice with lukum and you can chill out for some time.Installations are clean and beautiful, it feels really Cosy and the attention is perfect. Totally recommendedNote that female and male hamams are obviously separated and the entrances are at the opposite sides of the building, it’s better to arrive with anticipation, so you can find the right entrance in time.

Today, I had my first Hamam experience. Upon asking for recommendations in Istanbul, everyone mentioned to go to a Hamam! I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was ready to be pampered.I chose the 60min option, which included a body scrub, body cleanse, full body clay mask, and the soap massage. I had never experienced anything quite like it - to be bathed felt awkward at times but I leaned in to the experience and felt like a sultan! My therapist, Pilar, was very thorough and the massage was firm, which I prefer.The treatment cost 130 Euros, and for Turkish standards it is quite expensive. But, I felt like it was a once in a lifetime experience to be treated among the most stunning white marble architecture in a Hamam that has been around since the 1500s. Very cool!At the end of the treatment, you can relax as long as you’d like while they treat you to Turkish delights and tea/coffee. Overall, it was a delightful and adventurous experience - I’d recommend checking it out while you are in Istanbul.

Absolutely memorable! So clean! So well organized! We were pampered from moment one and every need anticipated, and then provided, before it entered my consciousness. For example, after resting and warming for 10 minutes we were brought ice cold sparkling water with lemon and mint. We left feeling beautiful and relaxed. And as we left, we were greeted with another fabulous view of Aya Sophia.

Mostly catered to tourists. This historical hammam is sparkling cleaning. The service is very good.

2nd hamam experience, compare with there Kaya gave me really good scrub and massage.But theres must have explanation about why I had to wait long time inside of hamam.Lady took me inside just right after i arrive there, sitting inside, splash water on my body myself for 20 minutes.(lady said 10 minutes to wait but it was more than that)Now i understand it was for scrubbing a body.When everythings are finish, they will give you amenities it used for you.

This place never fails to impress me. This is my 2nd time in Ayasofya Hamam (4 years away from the 1st timeand the service maintains its excellent level of luxurious treatment. Treated like a sultana in a 400 year old Hamam is something. Their products are also very nice. I have bought the conditioner that was used in my Hamam session and perfume. You can find all the products that are used during your Hamam. Theyre all amazing.

HASEKI HURREM BATHHOUSE This building that was one of the great and gorge- ous buildings of.Ottoman bathhouses in Istanbal, was constructed by Hurrem Sultan in 1556-57. The architect of the bulding, that was called as "Kagias Sophia Bathhouse,was Architect Sinan. The building that lost its geruine use in the begin- ning of Repubiican era was used as gas tank of the municipality, and as warehouse of State Printing Office for a while. It was ruined due to negligente; also, a door was opened in-between temperature parts of women and men. In the bathhouse that was firstly restorated in 1957-1958, several international contemporary arts exhibitions were performed at the end of 1980s. The building that was designed as double-bathho- use lies in north-south direction. On the walls of the building, rubble stone-fence on which hac- kistgs were used in patches, but at the entrance façade (northernof mens partthat was decora- ted by a portico, sequential wałl by two lines of brick and a line of face limestone were preferred. The elegant porticoon the northern façade of mens part that was rarely seen in other bathhou-- ses and giving mosque view has five units. The unit in the middle with square plan has pendenti- ve dome, other units with rectangular plan are co- vered by cavetto vaults. The lancet arches with se- quential walls of the portico are settled on co- lumns decorated by checkered headings. Above the entrance with drcp arch, under a basmala, a tablet with the date of 1556-57 that was written by a poet with a nickname of "Hudai" is available. Dressing rooms with square płan, that were made dominant over the outer façade of the building by holding it higher than the other parts of the bath- house, were crowned by domes embedded on the squinches. In the addorsed heating parts of mer. and women, it çəuld be seen that traditional scheme of Turkish bathhouse architecture with a central sofa and four iwans and star withi eight-strand that was characteristic for Roman arc- hitecture vwere applied in a synthesis.

An amazing feeling of spiritually, I planned to visit for years until came true last September 18th 2021 and was my mom passing 40 years ago. Love the great history and such a beautiful place for prayers.

This is my third time at a hamam, and this is by far the best one! Everything here was amazing. The facility is absolutely beautiful, and spotless, and from the moment I walked in, I felt catered to. The receptionist was so sweet, and Ayse gave me the best service! Wonderful bubble bath, and massage. I cant wait to go back. This was so much better than another highly rated place I went to. I will definitely be back.

I booked a 45 minute treatment and it was wonderful! The staff were warm, friendly and the therapist I worked with, Dilck, was gentle and communicative. It’s a touch awkward at first because you are wearing nothing but a little pair of underwear that the spa gives you, but it’s so relaxing and she was so kind, you forget about modesty and can’t help but enjoy the whole process. This place is luxurious and very professional. Loved the entire experience!! Would definitely recommend!!

The most amazing service by Fatima the hostess and Salda the therapist. I booked for the full fledged Hammam with body masque, massage and foot massage and it was superb . Hygeine is impeccable, service is welcoming and friendly and the therapist Salda is highly experienced . The Hammam is a little gem in the old town and I highly recommend it ❤️

The experience was - surreal. After my scrubbing and bubble massage was done, they said, you can relax for as long as you want and we will bring drinks. That felt very special unlike other massages where theyre conscious about time and instead of relaxation, you get the opposite effect 😂. I was just chilling there and when I felt I was ready for the final massage, I just told Bilal and we went to the private room. After finishing the massage, he told me that I could just stay there if I wanted. So I was once again relaxing, losing track of time (how its supposed to be 😍). I went at 7, I would recommend going a bit earlier to chill for longer time and unwind.

The best place to feel as a SultanaIve dreamt about this place since the time Ive seen it for the first time!This visit was my birthday present - Ab-l Hayat package. It was unspeakably great!Skillful, attentive and caring Bahar, the massage therapist washed me like a baby, made a mask and scrub of the whole body, brought water to the hammam and and took me everywhere by the hand. I enjoyed the hamam in the quota of Hurrem Sultan. The hammam itself is surprisingly beautiful and bright - there is absolutely no steam inside and a lot of space and the sound of an echo. Beautiful marble and golden bowls to wash from, olive soap and creamy foam create a feeling of oriental luxury and bliss Then I rested on a bed with a golden tray of fruits, turkish delight and pomegranate juice.Then there was a massage from the magical Bahar - from head to toe, an hour! The massage, like everything else, was magnificent! Strong, skilled hands and utmost attention to every centimeter of the body. The warmth, the murmur of a fountain in the center of the hall, the delicate Ottoman music is simply carried away into nirvana. Down at the fountain I was offered a large plate of fruits, Turkish coffee and tea. And I was told - Take your time Sultana, no need to run, relax and enjoy!Here you completely lose the sense of time and reality, especially when you are addressed as a SultanaThey also gave me a wonderful gift that you can’t buy anywhere in the world only in the hammam Hurrem Sultan - pestamal and soap. There I bought these unique washing and bath products as gifts for the girls of my family. Everything is done manually and specifically for Hammam Hurrem Sultan. Beautiful, smiling girls at the reception helped me with the choice and offered to bring gifts to the hotel, because there were a lot of packages)Not a second did I regret the time spent there and the money spent on this pleasure. Hammam Hurrem Sultan is a completely unique place, oriental luxury and enjoyment!And I will definitely be back there again!
