Ayam Penyet Ria in Noble Park
Description
Privilege
If you are in need of Indo/Malay style food come here. Yummy and was quick service.
Morevery disappointing dining experience. eating food that has flies is very disgusting. Prioritize cleanliness so that this does not happen again.
MoreVery bad experience, there was a fly was in the soup, talk to the staff and just offer another. No responsibility, everything was bad, very bad experience
MoreOrdered takeaway: Ayam penyet was tasty. Surprised at the small portion of bakso, was expecting bigger portion for the price. Soup was on the salty side.
MoreGreat food. I am in love with their spicy chilli. And the soup. The clear soup is a great addition to the Jasmine rice when combined with beef grilled or deep fry. And their grilled versions are a must try if you are not into deep fry for whatever reason.
MoreIt was ok. Need improve with customer service. Food was good. Abit pricey. Would been ok if service was good.
MoreGreat Indonesian food. Must try if you love chili, their chili are awesome. The Iga penyet and ayam penyet are so good !
MoreOrdered 4 Chicken Breast meals.Young girl who I always have trouble with when ordering accepted my order so I drove all the way there only to be told they’re out of chicken breast. Had already checked on the phone that they did have. So what happened? What a waste of time and petrol! Thanks!Absolutely useless worker!
MoreGood food, but they’re starting to reduce the portions, give really small amounts of ingredients. And upping the price.
MoreIs the owner change? Food taste a bit different and the sambals is absolutely different taste. Found a hair in the gado2
MoreI visited Noble park branch on 24Jul22, was disappointed with the fried chicken. Not much chicken meat on it, its mostly crispy skin i guess. And its dry.Taste like over night chicken been fried again.
MoreI get duck too dry and sometimes chicken penyet ok sometimes too salty, sambal it’s ok but too much oily price they put extra on public holiday. Couple of times I’ve ordered chicken crispy it’s very disappointed ☹️ ayam penyet taste better and it’s cheaper. Once try tahu isi it’s still cold inside and soggy outside (no love at all), Ordered rendang beef it’s not much of meat at all only soup not even full (stingy), Soto the lemon very stingy, tofu is nice, this review true from my heart, wish you all the best but please spread the love so people will love you back. Thank you.
MoreThis place is very terrible . I ordered ayam penyet for my dinner but I found 1 pieces of a stainless steel sponge on my fried chicken. Im so devastated and very disappointed . This restaurant should be more careful when handling a food and please keep your food clean before serving it to your customers .
MoreFor whom love indonesian hot chilli spicy grilled dishes.. they also serve soup dishes like meatball, yellow chicken or brown beef soup..Return visit on Mar 2022. Still a lovely place to come and eat in this restaurant. Ordered the authentic smashed empal and bakso soup, and ice cendol. Very lovely as it band aids the longing to our indonesian food.Return visit on July 2022. But we went here in between too 😁. Ordered empal penyet, bakso, gado gado to satisfy our hunger at dinner time post swimming. And of course we need special ketchup, sweet soy sauce ketchup. Like this indo restaurant cos it serves authentic indo food. The flavour and taste and texture of foods were great. Two thumbs up for this restaurant.
MoreIt was alright. Didnt particularly like it, but didnt hate it either. Quite expensive considering what you get, which is understandable considering the rise in costs, but was just hoping for more taste/quality.
MoreFoods great but such rude service. The guy serving had a rude attitude .
Awesome food. My wife had the fried chicken and I had the grilled chicken. Both were delicious. We also had Dadar Gulung, the dessert. It was so good, reminded me of my mums cooking.
MoreI am a regular here at Ria. Always love to have Ayam Panyet with side Rawong (Beef soupand Terong (Eggplant). If you love authentic Indonesian food, you must definitely try it out!
MoreBeef was dry and crispy chicken fillet was not crispy at all. Prices have increased a fair bit ($3 per dishyet the quality has dropped :(
MoreI went with a friend for lunch today as our Favourite Malaysian restaurant was closed. It was a ghastly experience.Flies were roaming around on the table ,we had to ask one of the staff to wipe the table clean. The dining area was also used as a storage area, boxes stacked up by the wall.As if that was not bad enough, one of the the plates that the food was served in, had a rusty egde/rim!! food was cold and the salad was made up of old vegetables, you can tell. They had some sort of a “dumb robot” to deliver our order, and you could tell that they were quite dirty looking, never been wiped! the cost of the meal was over the top as the food was worst than mediocre!! Never again would I go there. The owner should start thinking of the cleanliness,ESP.in the current situation!!
MoreNice food. But for the price no way worth it. They increased price so wont coming back. Items on menu dont include rice, so with rice- extra $3 which will come down to $17-20 for each meal. Such a shame.
MoreThe duck was wiry and unpalatable, the meat was not acceptable, was not value for the money, and the boss didnt seem to care! ... the windows could do with a clean too as makes the place look dirty!
MoreOne of the best indo food in melb! The chilli taste very authentic and spicy! Will be back x03/02/2022
MoreOrdered dinner as takeaway for my cousins bday and did not disappoint - decent portion sizes, well flavoured dishes and all delivered properly.
MoreI love Ayam Penyet Ria! Delicious food with authentic Indonesian taste. Their Ayam Geprek is so good! The sambal is also spicy, unlike many served by restaurants in Oz. I also like how they provide snacks and other Indonesian delicacies such as martabak manis, siomay, and crackers.
MoreFood is alright (Ayam Penyet meat is bit drywith robot serving the food,The whole eating environment might need some renovations. Good for take away if you dont want to dine in.
MoreThe Ayam Bakar is to die for. Ask for extra chilli paste for an extra kick.
My husband and I ordered from here for the first time from Uber eats and wow!!!! Your food is amazing and so authentic!!! Feels like I’m back in Asia! Please don’t stop making them and please keep it on Uber eats as well!!! We love your food and we will be ordering more!!!
MoreAuthentic Indonesian Food s - Great customer service
Google stuffed up my review but it is still 5 ☆ no doubt! From the unexpected robot server to the burn all your organs kinda spiciness, theyve got it all. Best of all, the flavours are just marvellous and very affordable!
MoreThe Iga Barka, grilled slow-cooked beef ribs is one of the best choice. Beef is so juicy, tender and flavourful. Just little Sambal (as I said just a little if you don’t want to upset your stomach, lolzon the beef itself together with the Tempeh and veggies, oh my god so yummmmmmmm.I’m not Indonesian, but love this place and the food. Nice people. It’s one of my restaurant in town to go to.
MoreEverything was good. The drinks not worth it. Premade n in plastic bottles. Come on coffee! Tasted odd. The teh tarik- a misrepresentation , does not come in a plastic bottle. The robot good attention getter but dont go overboard with no personal touch. Hopefully the food tastes remain unchanged.
MoreVery casual place, customers are most local Indonesians. Good value for money, quite a lot varies, but super spicy if you like it. Plus a robot to deliver meals. One thing was we ordered 2 durian drinks and in the bottom, both had small plastic fragments. We showed to the cashier, no compensation whatsoever which is unusual.
MoreHad a great experience trying the authentic Indonesian foods here! Highly recommended for those who miss Indonesian foods and still not sure where to find it. For me, personally I really love the bakso, reminds me to my favorite bakso in Indo🥺🥺
Moreabsolutely delicious authentic indonesian cuisine! they keep things simple and honest and they focus on setting the flavour to be the centre of their dishes - and they have hit the mark!good portioned dishes for great value! the sambal is very addictive and had me craving for more!i would definitely be returning to try more of their dishes!
MoreDelicious! Took out the ayam pengyat and the chicken was tasty, the tofu was crispy and moist inside, and tempeh was delish! The chilli was SPICY! Loved it!Order in advance though as the kitchen was quite busy. The place is also cosy and not suitable for big groups. They have a novel robot server though
MoreIm a regular customer here. But today I was upset with their food. I just bought ayam penyet with rice. As soon as I got home I found out that my rice is not the fresh rice. It looked like a leftover rice and been heat up in the microwave. I dont believe I spent 2 dollar for this rice. I hope people who read my review will check their rice first before bring it home or dont buy rice in this store
MoreIf youre a fan of Indonesian cuisine especially Ayam or Iga penyet.. and you live nearby Noble Park.. e.g Springvale, Clayton or Sandown Park.. this is the best and nearest place for you to go.The Ayam Penyet (squashed spicy fried chickenis indisputably the best..!Its crispy and very tasty.
MoreThe food is nice and all, but they are hopeless with their timing and delivery. It has been not once or twice they forgotten to include a meal i ordered. Hopefully next time you double check everything first before sending them out, and maybe organise your timing better.
MoreHuge serving sizes. The food is fantastic and prepared really well. Service is friendly here. Order and pay at the counter. There is a tap in the store near the counter but no toilets for customers. Nearest one is across the road at the train station which makes this place a little tricky when dining with kids.
MoreReally nice authentic Indonesian restaurant. Tried the Ayam Penyet, Empal Penyet (Beef& Bakso kuah. Was really nice. The sambal chilli was just amazing. Theres a seasonal Cendol Durian too!! Would be back for more.
MoreI need my ayam penyet fix once in a while with the hot sambal that makes one sweat. Well, Ive found a place that does this well in Noble Park!Highly recommended. And if you want to go native, try eating it with your fingers. Ha, ha. They have a sink there to wash your hands. We had the ayam penyet, prawn penyet and grilled beef ribs. All were delicious. The chicken was crunchy and goes well with the sambal. The prawns were fresh, crunchy and delicious. And the beef ribs were smokey, soft and yummy. We also had the chendol for drink/dessert. It was okay.I would be coming back to this place to sample the other dishes.
MoreThe sambal is really hot but also nice. Many Indonesians came to this restaurant. Small restaurant but nice enough. Ayam penyet is the favourite, I think.
MoreNice place to enjoy the popular Indonesian dishes named crushed chicken, fried chicken with hot spicy sambal on top of it after being crushed
MoreJust like having lunch at home, back in Indonesia. They taste delicious and dont forget to try their various chilli. So hot and good.
MoreEconomical fastfood joint. Dishes are quite similar in different protein of choice - fried, crumbed, served with sambal. Fried chicken Ayam Penyet is very high in salt to unedible state. Desserts are limited but could be better.
Moreone of my favourite places to go to. They provide the best Indonesian food. Their beef ribs is awesome. However, I did not like the duck curry much. And sambal is out of the world and spicy. It is a halal place.
MoreThe place is clean and the food are amazing. We normally order beef rib and fried chicken. The breast wa a bit dry but the leg was great. You can reserve a table if you like to come during lunch or dinner time as they are always busy.
Moreexcellent and authentic food. really spicy and not watered down to suit the local palate. real gem this one
MoreI’ve eaten there twice now and had a great experience both times. Friendly customer service and delicious food. My partner loves the soto ayam. The first time I got the beef ribs, which were perfectly melt-in-your-mouth (although some people might think they’re too fatty, I loved it), and the second time I got a whole fried fish special which turned out to be huge— so good!
