Decent place, all clean with good shower once it warmed up. Bed was a bit soft, felt like you might fall out but a decent nights sleep. Would go again.

This place is a Nightmare! First, my BANKCARD COMPANY has warned me because of the danger of possible fraudulent transations! Second, the reception and the corridor, stairway house is dirty. Third, the reception guy was acting like a soldier, despite of our suspicious approach - because of the first time impression what we had - there was no chance for preliminary check of the room. They had a good reason for that, I assume. Nightmare!!!!!

Clean rooms ideal location for going wembley when we watched coldplay. Friendly staff would stay again.

This was not a fun experience. The place itself wasnt too bad, if a little shabby and very dated.The room was small. By "small" I mean the mattress on the double bed was blocking the doorway.My room didnt have an en-suite. Instead, I had to cross the landing if I wanted a wee, a shower or even to fill the kettle.When the guy at reception didnt mention breakfast hours, and I saw on my door that the hours had been hastily stickered over, I asked. My booking said breakfast was included. But no, they dont offer breakfast, and were not apologetic about that fact.Positives? Its well positioned if you travel to Kings Cross, Euston or St Pancras. The bed, while blocking the door from opening, was comfortable. The shower cubicle was decent, if you could get there without being spotted crossing the landing in your undies.Do not recommend.

Lovely hotel! Our room was really great! We have a beautiful view from our room. The only drawback? We like to watch 5 USA channel...and couldnt get it. Highly recommended!

Excellent customer service, friendly staff and great location. Just a 5 minute walk from Kings Cross. The bed was comfortable, the room warm and good wifi connection. I would definitely come back.

We found this Hotel last minute. It had all we needed. The staff was very very friendly, helped us with our suitcases and 24h, there was a person at the entrance to open the door. It is a 2 star hotel, so dont expect it to be ultra luxurious...We would defenitely go there again. :)

Several one-night stays. Very conveniently located, 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross. For low rate I paid, considering location, very good value for money. Rooms small but clean and comfortable, personnel quiet but polite and efficient.

Great price (though it may vary)Cons - Overall operation could be better. I was given wrong room (occupiedtwice before checking into the available room. They don’t seem to be very responsive - I called and emailed before my arrival but couldn’t reach them. Wifi works but keeps dropping. Soundproof is poor.

Rooms were small and basic which was fine with us as we only required somewhere to sleep. The beds were so comfy, the rooms were clean and the staff were lovely.

I was at the rear of the hotel Sunday !! Immediately, the hotel is located in a pretty good location next to the park where there are many shops, restaurants where you can buy whatever you want !!The hotel itself is small but it is quite cozy and very warm !! Honestly, it was warm enough for us to sleep with the windows open !! all night long I had to listen to screams screams of some broken bottles that someone was trying to figure out some kind of relationship Because there are bars and restaurants nearby !! besides, near the hotel as far as I know there is a park where there were also some screams screaming at a dish, sorting out some kind of relationship, we had to listen to all this because the windows in the hotel itself are old, we even had to close them by force and we still could not close them because I did not want them just break. There is a whole pile of rubbish near the hotel !! I had to go downstairs all the time in order to launch a person inside the hotel, that is, there was such a technique in the hotel that if a person comes to visit me, I need to go downstairs and run him inside !! also it was not clear to me I had a hotel for 3 people there were two of us but towels were only for 1 person !! In general, I will say that I will say this, I was satisfied because, firstly, there was no such birocracy and as it was in other hotels, and everything is pretty simple, quickly and without any questions !! because I arrived in the evening, it was somewhere at 6:00 and I was tired and believe me that when you are given a bunch of papers to fill out and tell who you are, what you are, although you have already given all the information on the Internet I do not know why in many hotels to ask about it Because it is not necessary !! Честно мне сказать было достаточно тепло чтобы мы спали с открытыми окнами!!всю ночь пришлось слушать крики вопли какие-то разбитые бутылки что кто-то выясняет какие-то отношения Потому что рядом есть бары и рестораны!!кроме того возле гостиницы насколько я знаю есть парк где тоже были какие-то крики вопли блюде выясняли какие-то отношения нам пришлось это всё слушать потому что окна в самой гостинице старые нам даже приходилось силой их закрывать и мы до сих пор так и закрыть не могли Потому что я не хотел их просто сломать. Рядом возле гостиницы находится целая куча мусора !!мне все время приходилось спускаться вниз для того чтобы запустить человека вовнутрь гостиницы то есть в гостинице было такая техника что человек если ко мне приходит в гости мне нужно спуститься вниз и его запустить во внутрь!! также мне было непонятно у меня была гостиница для 3 людей нас было двое но полотенца было только для 1персоны !! В целом я скажу что я скажу так я остался доволен потому что во-первых не было такой бирократия и как это было в других гостиницах и довольно всё просто быстро и без лишних вопросов!!потому что я приехал вечером это где-то в часов в 6:00 и я был уставший и поверьте мне что когда тебе дают кучу бумаг заполнить и рассказать кто ты что ты хотя ты уже всю информацию дал уже в интернете Я не знаю зачем во многих гостиницах об этом спрашивать Потому что это не нужно !!единственное мне непонятно только то что почему надпись на гостинице не освещается то есть ты сам должен найти эту гостиницу тем более что рядом находится если я помню 4 гостиницы у которых тоже нету на здании никакого освещение!! Поэтому думаю что компания и администратор данного заведение это учтет я думаю что всё будет в порядке!!на завтрак я конечно не попал потому я не могу сказать как тут кормят но в целом могу сказать что для тех кто любит путешествовать это довольно неплохой способ побывать в этой гостинице и это не дорого

Very hard to get my suitcase up the small, narrow stairs to the top floor. Room ok, seems clean. Hair in bathroom, around soaps and in shower. Did not get a shower towel, just one small hand towel, even when I requested a bigger towel for showering. Shower very weak and cold, even thought I waited a while for it to get warmer. Noisy around, even after 11pm. One of the windows did not want to close, so the noise was even louder.Reason I booked this was the location, which was great, but I would not book again.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a uncommunicative staff member, telling us we had been upgraded to an ensuite room. This was not true, as we had actually booked and payed for an ensuite room.We were then sent down to the basement to our room, which had a mess of cleaning tools in front of it. Ensuite meant a tiny cell, where you had trouble sitting down in the toilet.Otherwise the room was clean and looked okay.Breakfast was okay as well.The bed was terrible. After three nights my back ist now hurting like crazy, because the mattress was so worn down. I would never book there again.

Nice place to rest. Room is clean and although not spacious its enough for short stay. Location is within walking distance to Euston Station.

Im staying in room 6. The decor is very dated. The tiles in the bathroom are cracked and broken, the light over the desk flickers, there is no toilet seat (!And the WiFi is useless. If you can book somewhere else then do.

I really did not like the hotel considering the price that Ive paid (I spent only one night). Small room, small bathroom, small bed and not a nice mattress.

Cheap and cheerful - good for 1 night. I stayed there absolutely incidentally! However, I was woken up in the morning by the staff, who were very loud. And there was some device - might be a boiler - I thought, my head was drilled throigh by the noise that "device" was making!

Well where do i start if i could give 0 stars i would. Upon arrival the man at reception had us booked in but then decided to give us another room on ground floor as he seen we had a few cases. I opened the door to door number 5 and omg it looked like my daughters bedroom. Beds messed up the window wide open it was in no fit state for guests. I went to complain n say that cant be our room as its a complete mess. He then made an excuse n said he was going to put us back to our origional room number 16 on the 3rd floor which looked like a loft conversion gone bad. Carrying 3-4suitcases up myself may i add with the help of my daughter the man did not offer to help but could see i was struggling. First impressions again i was more juvious because i had payed 180 for this half decent room i opened door n i couldnt swing a cat in it baring in mind its for 4 people. Shabby and unsecure was an understatement. The lock on the door was knackered and then didnt lock properly. Shower room was not nice at all not what i expected. I mean i wasnt expecting five star but this was beyond a joke. I asked for my money back to which he was a bit reluctant and i was strongly proceeding saying i wasnt happy with that room is there another he said no n then said he d hav to spk to his manager tomorrow to get me a refund. This is absouluty shocking service and poor quality hotel. I wouldnt reccomend anyone to stay there.

My rating is highly affected by the location (very close to Kings Crosscombined with the cheap price you get it for. The hotel itself isnt that good-looking and it has an almost vintage feeling (in a non trendy way lol). The room was very small. The door was hitting the mattress as we tried to get in. The breakfast was sufficient but not much of a choice and no vegan/vegetarian replacements for the meats in the English breakfast.

The location is great and the price is acceptable. The rooms are average so overall its ok. If you need a central hotel to just sleep at night then I would recommend.

Its very conveniently located and quite reasonably priced. Close to train stations, restaurants, convenient stores, and the city. Staff was very helpful and kind. I would absolutely stay there again. They have free breakfast aswell

The room was fine just the stairs going up to room 15 are small and a bit steep the breakfast was fine and the service was good and we would go back again.

i will never recommend anyone for this hotel. i have stayed in may other hotels in London, but this one is below standard. The room I stayed were very small. the ceiling was very low, not more than 6 feet. the toilet and bathroom was very little, 3 feet by two feet each. one can barely move inside. it loos like they turned a store room into a hotel room. it serves breakfast as part of the package. But it has very little or no varieties in its menue. It serves only English breakfast and no vegetarian options against pork sausage/ham. Not good at taking complaints. when i requested to change the room, the receptionist said, "others had no problem before, why do you have?"

Overpriced. Quiet small. Needs maintenance. Showers have 2 settings: hot or cold with no in between. Needs updating. Breakfast choices limited. Narrow stairways could be a problem for anyone with anything more than a back pack. If it was cheaper (~£30it would be worth it for a single night otherwise save your money and go to a travel lodge or the youth hostel down the road which looks nicer.

It was an okay place to stay. Rooms small but clean, staff friendly and efficient. Shower was good, and the most powerful one we had the entire time in the country. Location is very convenient for both Euston and Kings Cross/St Pancras stations, and the nearby road was nice and quiet. The staircases are very narrow, however, which makes lugging around heavy suitcases painful. The temperature was also a bit high for our liking, even with both windows wide open and the rooms radiators off.

We loved this hotel. Classic London hotel met our expectations. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was perfect english breakfast and service was most friendly. Quiet, conveniently located. Next stop in London, we will return here.

Me and my family stayed here due to our flight being cancelled. We arrived with our 2 children at 2am after being in the airport all day to be "greeted" by the most ignorant man i have ever known!!! He was not helpful at all and accused us of not paying evem tgough we had paid by card earlier that evening. He did not tell us our room no no imformation about breakfast and we were put right at the top of the hotel with 4 suitcases and 2 bags aswell as 2 very tired children one of which has a movement disorder!! Our room was on a slant so the drawers were constantly open the carpet was filthy and our room door did not lock so i had to put a chair up against the door!! I can safely say ill never be back and to the man that greeted us needs to seriously learn some manners and take the chip off his shoulder!!

OK - So for £99.00 (including a full English breakfastin central London - close to underground and overground stations, what do you expect? This is clearly a budget hotel......but this hotel delivers by the bucketful. If you want the Savoy, then dont come here, but if you want a low cost room for the night and a perfectly adequet breakfast the next morning then this is a great place to stay. I cant give it 5* as this would say its a gorgeous hotel, it clearly isnt. But, the people that have given negative reviews clearly seem to want champagne quality at beer prices.

I was told that parking is free here and I got a ticket 20 minutes after for 130 and I think it is so unresponsive to tell your customer the wrong information. The place is not clean and smells like curry would not recommend choosing this hotel

Cheap hotels if you just want a bed and shower. Interior is a bit tatty but not dirty, the staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is only ok

My stay at the Avonmore was perfect. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and it is a short walk to St Pancras for the Eurostar. My only regret was that we had to leave too early for breakfast!

Obviously a budget hotel but very close to Euston station and underground and the breakfast was very good.

I desided to write for avonmore hotel in London because I saw in google that it has 3,9 score , big mistake. Avoid this hotel . Not recomended . If you have a bit more money go to another hotel . I stayed in the avon more hotel from 15 March until 19 March 2015 . This hotel spoiled my holidays. When I booked the hotel Iasked for a big room , for three persons not in the top floor because I have problem with my foot . Mis Danuba , the lady in the reseption write to me by e-mail , that they have a big room in the second floor , so I made the booking . When we came to the hotel they gave us a room in the TOP FLOOR with very very narrow stairs . You have to clybe like a monkey . If you have to take breakfast you have to go to the ground floor five floors downstairs or to clibe five floors upstairs . Very poor breakfast with out cheese or cake . Very poor internet . Dirty . For 4 days not change the shits, not clean the bathroom , except WC , or the room , except make the beds , they gave us only 3 towels for body , not for face . The room had a view from a small window to a dirty beside bulding . The big room is a small room for 3 persons . The shower is broken all the days and none fix it , so I made a bath in my home after 4 days when I came back . Not flew of water in top floor , so its difficult to use the toilette . Too small shower . Many , many comblains for this hotel . The avon more hotel its only a hostel for very young people or perhaps for people that they have to stay only one night , not to stay for nights on vacations . I never come back .
