Facing a main square, this relaxed hotel in a 15th-century building is a 4-minute walk from the Linz State Theatre, a 6-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and 10 minutes on foot from the Ars Electronica Center. The casual rooms offer antique furnishings, free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Some also feature chandeliers and/or sofabeds.A breakfast buffet is complimentary. There's also a lobby lounge and meeting/conference rooms. Pets are welcome.
Colazione perfetta. Unica pecca i cuscini troppo morbidi. Possibilità di utilizzare parcheggio pubblico a prezzo convenzionato a due minuti a piedi dallhotel.
Schönes Zimmer, guter Ausblick, optimale Lage, freundliches Personal.
Top Hotel
Sehr gute Lage, wunderbare Betten, nostalgische angenehme Atmosphäre.
Wonderful hotel with a long history! We enjoyed our stay very much - excellent location, interesting interiors, cosy rooms, attentive staff. Price/quality ratio is justified. Will come back!
Ne-a plăcut foarte mult!
This was a well run hotel. Being able to drive onto Hauptplatz is nice. Parking is paid underground. It’s a beautiful traditional hotel in a historic building. The best part of the entire stay was the breakfast buffet. Traditional Austrian breakfast. Soooo good!!
Cosy and clean room, friendly stuff, great breakfast. Located right on the main square.
Great rooms, great location, great service.A great hotel in an historical building, we stayed here for 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised. The room was big and the bed was super comfortable. The rooms did not have an air conditioner, but even though we stayed there in August it was not an issue at all.The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not fancy, but was a good standard breakfast for a small hotel. The location is great, right on the main square, a few short paces from the tram stop. A walking distance from many of the interesting locations, and easy access to public transport to all further locations. At night it was quiet in the room despite the central location. This hotel is a gem. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It is totally worth it with good value for its price and above what we expected in almost every aspect. If we ever come back to Linz there is absolutely no way we do not consider this hotel again as our first option!
Super
Right on the main Square, rooms with modern comfortable bathrooms, lovely old furniture, one has the feeling of going back to the good old days. Car park easy to find and very close to the hotel. I am very pleased. Much better than many 4/5 star hotels
shower head slide down and go weee
Nice place to stay for business
Great family and aristocratic hotel right in the heart of Linz! Booked last minute during our European Road trip and couldn’t have been happier. What amazed us: All the facilities were SPARKLING clean. Nice breakfast too, all COVID-19 measures well thought through. Only one minor thing: the room didn’t have a fridge.
Beautiful, historic hotel !Amazing view, nice rooms and polite staff
Beautiful hotel great location
Very good
Very nice and old hotel. Only downside is no ac.
Desrves10 stars
Very well located in the centre of the city, classic atmosphere, nice personnel. The room was spacious, the breakfast with plenty of choices, in a lounge with a great view to the place. They have a special room for bycicles which was very helpful.
Nice Hotel!Great location!
Very nicely decorated hotel. The superior double room is spacious and has a great view. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. There are steep stairs from the ground floor to the first floor and no elevator between them. Breakfast is standard for a 3-star hotel. The room cleaning service could be much better.
Really appreciated the friendliness and kindness of all the staff. What a great start into a (successfulmarathon weekend. Exemplary service orientation, the staff were always ready to answer my many questions and make sure I make the most of my three days in Linz. The room was clean and tidy, and staff surprised me with a local Linzer cake and a sports drink as my welcome gift. Location on the main square is ideal, many transport connections right by the hotel, and the inner city is just a few meters away. Will come back for sure.
Wonderful, historic hotel right on city Square in Linz. Ended up here by chance, as the business hotel was full. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, even arranging a small breakfast for me departing to the airport way before regular meal times. Old building, but for a 3-star I thought everything was on point.
As for a 3-star hotel, an excellent place. Cosy, warm, clean rooms, kind staff, delicious breakfast. Id definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed one night on our Way to a ski resort and it was a great choice.
A very nice experience of immersion in the past. We appreciated the comfort of the accommodation combined with the cozy interior decoration. The rooms and corridors are covered with handknotted, wool oriental rugs, increasing the charm and warmth of the place.Highly recommended!
Good breakfast, nice Location in the City Center of Linz
Lovely hotel in the centre of town. Gentleman at check in was very knowledgeable and kind. Bedroom was great. Breakfast was awesome
Perfect place. Modern hotel made in old-fashion style building. Many restaraunts outside. Problem was that they gave me parking ticket expired 1 month ago
A really well run hotel right in the centre of Linz. The room and breakfast were excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.Be aware that a lot of the cafes nearby dont take plastic.Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesnt need a lift to get up stairs
Good as a 3 star hotel. Could be less expensive. Location extre
Lovely hotel in a perfect and central location. Breakfast is included and is a simple but delicious continental breakfast. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. Only drawback is there is no elevator from the street to reception, which mean lugging bags up a flight of stairs. If that had been different I would have given 5 stars.
Salzburg is not to be missed
We had a wonderful time. Everyone was very accommodating. The only problem we had was that some of the bread at the breakfast was moldy. Otherwise we had a great experience.
Great location great vibe
It is a really good and well positioned hotel in Linz downtown. The recepcionists are amazinly friendly. The breakfast is tipical with many types of breads and many options for coffee. The hotel is just 1 block away from Danúbio river. Near from all good and tradicional restaurants. A great choice for anyone that intends to visit Linz.
The hotel was very pleasant. The staff very friendly and attentive. The reception is open 24 hours a day. The selection of the breakfast was quite okey (no bacon - omg ;-)Since I had the room facing Hauptplatz, and this one all night was illuminated, I am always awake, as the curtains were not so great.
Beautiful and wonderful
Great value, had a one night stay and loved every minute of it. They even opened up the breakfast early for us leaving.
