Big, casual eatery offering a deep menu of familiar Mexican dishes, plus mariachi music some nights.

Wife adores this place, its a classic, service is FAST, sangria top notch, food always great!
MoreI had a migraine after eating here for two days straight. It was worth it.Try the "Queso Fundido" and "Burrito Suizo Elefante".
MorePlenty of parking, good finger food options, and bar.
Excellent and delicious food. Not exactly Mexican but the flavor is really good.
Awesome authentic Mexican food and margaritas. Good waiters nice ambiance.
This place has been in business for a very long long time.A true and tried classic when it comes to Mexican Food in the Puerto Rico Metropolitan area.Service was fast, friendly, & courteous. Prices are very reasonable.Watch out for their Margaritas!!! Not your fancy huge fish bowl colorful type. I only had one with my meal and I was most definitely feeling it.
MoreDelicious food...the service excellent!
It was ok. Portions were small for the price. No rice and beans as side for the fajitas was disappointing. Service was mildly inattentive, required active waving to get order placed/etc. Food quality was otherwise ok.
MoreFast takeout service. Good food and Margaritas 🍹
You can smell this place from around the corner and the smells dont lie! Small medium and large (amazingmargaritas, great food! I got the bean and cheese burrito elephante and Im taking the other half home for dinner but Ive said out loud "this is so good" so many times that Im just writing the review from the table. 5 stars. Everyone else is lying haha
MoreThe food was good. The prices were reasonable and the service was nice.
The island of PR needs urgently a real mexican restaurant, in our search to crave our mexican palads, we have pass by different stablishments, and this as the others has dissapointed me. The webpage writes that the restaurant was started by a Mexican back in the days, but the today´s food speaks for another want to be mexican restaurant. I understand the people expects such a food rather texmex, but for a Mexican this cannot fool it. The food lacks of salt, flavor, "sazon" as we say; does not have authenthic flavors, the chilaquiles are a plate of nachos served with a boiled meat that says carnitas in the menu, the flautas is the only thing almost close but it is served with an awful guacamole made with local watery avocado and no flavor, not to finish with the stated authenthic taco pastor which again is a bolied meat with no flavor at all no color and no pastor on it. For what I paid on this food I am completely regret of it. Can not leave a 0 stars so had to put 1.
MoreGreat food. Noisy environment.
From the moment we sat down it was amazing. I’ve been homesick and craving Mexican food and Aurorita’s excelled my expectations. Service was great. Recommend the margaritas and the resMy boyfriend and I left super content.
MoreStaff with an atitude. Overrated food, extremely loud atmosphere. They gave us and charged us for food we did not ask for.
MoreNever disappoints me. The food is excellent as well as the service.
Great Margaritas and the best pico de Gallo in Town!
The food here was amazing and the service was exceptional. We went here for a business lunch.
MoreI was at this restaurant Thursday night after not having been there in over 10 years. This restaurant at one point was ranked amongst the top 5 Mexican restaurants in Puerto Rico but not anymore. After so long an absence I ordered my favorite nachos as an appetizer. While we waited, we saw a cocroach on the floor along with discarded food in a corner and we received old reheated chips that tasted like cardboard. We also found another bug in our napkin. When we finally received the appetizer, after a long wait, our Nachos looked like they had substituted the beans and the chorizo with canned Alpo dog food. Disregarding the awful appearance we managed to try the dish and it tasted worst than it looked. We immediately asked for the check and went to the restaurant next door, where we finished the night.
MoreExcellent service and food. Great restaurant development, which I have known for almost 50 years.
MoreNot great. Had the queso fundido and it was microwaved cheese in a bowl. Not my idea of queso. Had soft tacos for dinner and the tortilla was cold (i.e. straight out of a pack of tortillas). Not warm, and not steamed.
MoreTasty food and chef was so accommodating to make adjustments for vegetarian options. Great hospitality Nani and Shirley helped us patiently even in such a busy crowded time and lovely people!!Chef Orley made me a customized Pico de Gallo..best till date!! Hands down must try place when in Puerto Rico
MoreExcellent place to eat, best Mexican food around. Great Pico de Gallo. Giant Burritos. Fantastic Service.
MoreLove this place one of my favorite real Mexican restaurants in pr
Good food, but not as expected. Friendly staff do an excellent job.
Mexican food for the soul! You can never go wrong with this place. Great for family, friends and significant others to meet.
MoreI wanted take-out so I parked, a waiter took my order and 10 minutes later he brought my food. He had a portable credit card reader, processed my payment and I was on my way. The food was well packed so there were no issues there.
MoreThe food excellent, Mexican cuisine, there drinks are the best. The Associates are A++++. Prices are not so way off. Drinks are strong, the Mexican way. Upfront they ask for Vacu card and ID.
MoreThe customer service here is the best I’ve ever had!!!! From the server (Nashialto the busser and just everybody was amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. The margaritas were big and they did not scam on the tequila lol. We came here during our trip and the food was great! We had the fajitas x2. 12/10 from food to service!! Thank you!
MoreThe mexicans are keeping a big secret. I tried the mole sauce....it taste like chocolate sause....its a big deal...since that the best kept secret in the world.
MoreNot a fan of the food but the margaritas were good. The guacamole didnt have much flavor and the tomatoes needed at least another week to ripen. Except for the carnitas, everything else was bland.
MoreThe restaurant is very nice, but for some reason either the chef changed or something is happening in the kitchen. We ordered (from a scale of one to five, five the best flavor)guacamole = 2 (watery, it was more like a sauce ), Flauta platter = 3 (the chicken looks like it was frozen inside the taco shelf, and it was fried very quickly, no flavor, we opened one, and it looks like a compress piece of chicken compress inside the shelf on the Tostadas = 3 (no flavor and the same chicken).. Needless to say I ask for cheese for the Tostadas and it was $2.50, the only reason for the cheese was to put some flavor on the tostada. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Everything was very clean, and service was fast ( maybe because everything is pre made).
MoreI love this place! it was the first place that i found that, i would say, had authentic Mexican food. and the food is amazing!parking - limited parkingspace - lots of spacefamily - welcomedprices - very reasonable
MoreGreat food and even greater service!
Amazing place to eat. My parents always brought me food from this place and I finally went to the restaurant to eat there.Servers are all extremely nice and eager to help. Many choices to eat for appetizers and drinks. As appetizer I ate Pico de Gallo which is honestly the best one Ive ever eaten.Whenever a glass of water empties, I dont have to call for a refill as they pay attention to guests and are quick to give you a refill from your drink or nachos. The freshness of the food is on another level. Presentation of it beautifully. And the taste... From the heavens. For my main dish I had Tacos al Pastor Refrito and Guacamole. The refrito is one of the best Ive eaten and the tacos just mouthwatering. And for dessert I highly recommend Flan de Queso. Tres leches is also really good but the Flan de Queso just hits so differently.Had an amazing time there and its really rare to find such an amazing place with good customer service and flavorsome dishes. .
MoreHands down best Mexican restaurant in Puerto Rico! The food was delicious, I prefer a bit more spice but delicious overall. The margaritas are amazing and not watered down like other places, strong but flavorful. The service was excellent overall. We did have some friends join after we finished eating and got a horrible waitress to finish our experience but the the rest of the staff was so kind, they still get five stars. Now the bad and ugly, parking is HORRIBLE!!! Nevertheless, I highly recommend!
MoreThe service was good. Thats why the 3 star 🌠🌠🌠 rating. But when you are used to more authentic Mexican food from places like Mexico itself or Pilsen & Little Village in Chicago, the food pales in comparison. In my humble opinion, their refried beans were way to salty. My wife did not like the Enchiladas at all, they were drowned with to much cheese 🧀 and the tortillas were not done appropriately. Let down, will not visit again.
MoreWent for lunch last Friday and was disappointed by the food as were two of my friends. I ate half of my food, because I was hungry and had to go back to work, but my friends barely touched theirs. Everything just tasted off.I dont know what happened as I have enjoyed my food here before.
MoreWorst service experience ever. They don’t value their customers. They did not anticipated our needs as usual. Not even offered drinks or follow up service after taking our appetizers orders. We had to waive at waiters to have them come and finally take our order and the place wasn’t even busy. Waited for over an hour for our food. Manager did not even came to the table to apologize and they clearly knew we were upset. At the end when we ask the cashier for the manager he passed by saying that it was the kitchens fault and it took longer which is unacceptable. How is that our fault? On top of that he left us talking to ourselves didn’t even acknowledged us and left to go outside without even offering an apology. They clearly don’t value or appreciate their customers.
MoreFood is excellent 5 stars but customer service starting with the guard outside NOT good at all. The guard is rude. And this is not good, he is the 1st face to deal with. Waited 30 min to place the order. And 30 more min after finishing my meal to get the check. TWO very good waiters Pedro and a female that was pregnant.
MoreExcellent service. Finding parking was a little difficult, but even with the pandemic, reservation was fast, and waiting time was a minimum. Food was great, love the tacos, queso fundido was good. Margaritas were delicious. Service was fast and attentive. Price was affordable. Want to come back! Needed my favorite dessert!
MoreGreat food as always. Have been consistently eating the best pork carnitas here since I was in grade school...and theyre STILL the best. Pretty good carry out setup now during the COVID-19 crisis. Very fast service even when theres a line of cars beyond the small front parking lot where pick ups are made. Very much recommended.
MoreThis restaurant is a family and local favorite. It’s been since open since I can remember. The restaurant is spacious but it gets busy often so be sure to take that into consideration. The parking space is also limited, although they do have a valet parking option. The menu is extensive and they specialize in many traditional plates. Most of the entrees have a good amount of food for two peoples The service has always been exceptional, although waiting times can vary depending on how busy the restaurant is. Highly recommended.
MoreYum yum yum. Cant beat this noisy gem of a place. Best deep fried pork tacos Ive ever had, anywhere on the planet. Margaritas are popular, beers are always cold, and its perfect for large parties. A bit noisy, but thats great if you have kids. Wont annoy anyone around you ;)
MoreExquisite food. Excellent service. Fun for family and friends.
Visited Aurorita for my birthday celebration and it didnt disappoint. This place has been good for as long as I remember. The food is delicious, the mariachi band is great and the margaritas are the best! We truly love this place.
MoreA very good place for Mexican food and Margaritas. Some days like Fridays they have a group of Mariachis singing around the tables. Many times the restaurant is crowded and there will be difficult to park your vehicle, even if the valet parking is available.
MoreThe food is great!, you can never go wrong with Aurorita. Had A couple of margaritas with the wife and had a small plate of chihuahua very tasty.
MoreGood food loved the mariachi band. Great family resturant
You must come early because it really gets packed very good thing for the desert talks by his self
