Auberge de Jeunesse - Charleroi - Youth Hostel in Charleroi

The location is superb just over the bridge from where the bus from the airport arrives. A short walk into the centre where there is a good choice of bars and restaurants. The rooms are very clean, the lined provided is clean and fresh with the communal areas again spotless. Reception was very helpful with good relaxed feel and chance to have a beer or two. The only down side was the bull meeting next for was undergoing building works with an early start for the workers makes a late wake up distant hope.

Consistently great experience. Staff is nice. Rooms are brand new. Location is great. The only “negative” I can think of is that kids are allowed. Affordable accommodation.

Best Price-quality ratio stay that you can find in Charleroi. Perfect location even if you want to go to the airport early, as buses go to the airport from the main train station from 4:30 am

Nice hostel, clean and modern.Theres a room for bicycle storage where you can also clean your bike (the room seems small already, with so many people coming by bike nowadays).The staff for cleaning and breakfast seemed to be working over hours while there were always 3 people at the reception being bored swiping on their phones. Seems like this can be managed better.The place closes down on Sundays (what?so thats inconvenient.

Horrendous!!!!!!! The staff is polite and helpful but the hotel is a joke!!! They dont offer towels,shower gel,liquid soap NOTHING! I asked for a double room they gave me a room with 4 single beds like in prison!! I do not recommend!

Awful service. First they offer a taxi service from the airport (15€), then they claim they dont offer it. Our taxy was one hour late and the hotel didnt refund us of this service. Pity.

Nice and clean and new

The staff was really welcoming and helpful, the vibe was great (thanks to the games as well!), and the location was very comfortable (2 minutes walk from the bus to the airport).The rooms were very good, very quiet and sound-proofed and with private shower and bathroom in the rooms (which does not happen in many hostels).

Its the best hostel were I ever have been. All services are on higher standard. Room was clear. Also, Auberge de Jaunesse - Charleroi -Youth Hostel, was provided very good options, like bar (working until 03:00), WiFi and breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality.

A very well located hostel, right next to the train and bus terminal. A very modern location with great amenities, comfort and good breakfast with big selection of coffee and organic orange juice (from concentrated). The staff is really friendly and the rooms are very clean and modern.

Even due the very late check-in the staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very basic but due the low price it even exceeds my expectations. The dormitories are not very large but are brand new and equipped with just everything you need. Quiet enough to sleep well. Located just a few minutes walking from the South station the accessibility is very great. The breakfast is just amazing for this price range.The bathroom is a little small and on the dormitories an small individual light near the bed is missing so it’s a little hard to make your bed in dark without turning the main light on and wake up everybody.

This place is amazing. Friendly staff. Very clean and well located. It has all the facilities and a comfortable bed. You should spend more than one more night here

I strongly reccomend as staff was just so friendly and helpful. Place is clean and warm. Its about 3 minutes from the train/bus station and near the shopping street and less than 1min from the shopping mall. Also there is the breakfast included and same if you leave before 6am (like I had to), there are always biscuits and coffee available with no extra charges. Loved so much!

Brand new hostel in the Belgium city of Charleroi, few steps away from the station. Supper clean, many rooms, games in the common area and a fabulous breakfast. Beds are comfortable and lockers are big. The owner of this places really put effort to create a hostel thats excellent in every way.

Brand-new youth hostel where old guys like me are also still welcome 😉 Good accommodation with basic but very good, clean rooms and ditto bathrooms. There is a large outdoor terrace and a nice bar. The people are all very friendly, especially when you speak French. The neighborhood has been renewed, is pretty cozy, and offers several cafés and restaurants. A good place to stay. Hardly no parking opportunity, however. Best come by public transport, or park at the outside edges of Charleroi.

Literally one of the best hostels I have ever seen. It was gorgeous, spacious, great beds, clean, free breakfast and the receptionist was absolutely lovely. Charleroi was a strange city but I would come back again to stay here! :)

it was super cheap compared to how nice, clean & modern the place is. check in & out was very fast & simple. the dorms are nice & since the place is new... it doesn’t smell unlike every hostel out there!! i love love love it. it’s also a very convenient location for the brussels charleroi airport

Stayed there couple of times ... in all cases, checked in after 9 pm and checked out before 6 am. Did not have any issues, very helpful people on the reception and easily reachable through email. When I need to make a reservation I just email and let them know when I come and thats it. Cheap and clean.

Great new youth hostel. The establishment is new, clean, comfy and super cheap. People are nice and friendly as well.I recommend it.

I enjoyed my stay! The room was well laided out, there was a nice selection for breakfast, very clean. Would be nice to have a dimmer switch in the rooms corridor, but not a deal breaker. Very close to the train station. I would stay here again.

Nice hostel, provides basic amenities. The kitchen is not ready yet, but the nice receptionist helped us in cooking our dinner in the microwave.

This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, free wireless internet inside the rooms and outside. Breakfast is amazing its undescribable 😍❤️. The hostel is located near the Charleroi sud just 400 or 500 meters. I really liked the place and I highly recommend it.
