Place Verte 10, 4000 Liège, Belgium, Ans
Au Point de Vue - Belgian restaurant in Ans, Belgium
Amazing veggie boulets, as well as classic boulets, ordered with 4 of my friends, comes with big bowl of fries and side salad.
The moules mariniere were good. Let’s be honest, it’s a ridiculously simple dish to prepare. I’d have hoped the mussels themselves were a bit bigger, but sometimes its just like that. The fries were great though!! All in all a good experience.
Disrespectful service, arrogant, and a bit of right and white mentality makes the worst place to sit down in Liege.
We were passing by the restaurant and decided to check it out for lunch with no reservation. So we got a nice table for 2. Service was nice and quick. Food was absolutely delicious. Will be happy to come again but unfortunately had the one day only in the city. Removing one star for the toilets, no soap in the ladies restroom and no handdryer or tissue in the mens.
We really enjoyed our Dinner there, the food and service were excellent. Just had to give the Liegeoise Meat Balls a try and didnt regret it.
Its a Liege restaurant🍴🍽️, I was so delicious and I had the specialty of Liege, the meat ball. It was so nice I took two of them but one would be ok😂😂
Perfect place for boulette liégeoise - wonderful taste & serving, acceptable pricing.
Excellent food 🍻and great service
We ate twice at this classic brasserie/café serving local specialities. Very friendly and helpful staff and good food.
A good restaurant, typical food from the area and great service. highly recommended if you are in the area
Staff unfriendly but food is really really good !
Very nice with typical food from Liege.asked for mussels but they were out, any way went for the meatballs. Very good service and good quality food. Definitely will come back.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food, the only downside is the service. We waited over 45 min to get our food and that was overwhelming :(
Excellent local specialties at very nice prices. Good view towards the Opera when dining outside.
Fresh and tasty. The personnel is very nice and helpful. Big sortimente of cakes
The carbonade (stoofvleeswas good but a little expensive for the portion size.
Very tasty Boulettes de Liège, but also other menu items are worthwhile ordering. With a drink order, you get a variety of salty snacks, which is very much appreciated.Special mention for the good frittes.
One of the biggest open markets Ive been to, fab atmosphere and nice location by the river Meuse.
Tasty food, nice surroundings and great service. The traditional meatballs are amazing, as well as the fries
Food was okay but some servers were super aggressive. Almost throwing the food on the table. Also tried to order in French and a server totally ignored what I have said. They should improve their service first of all.
Lovely restaurant! Got recommended from a local and went there twice, first time to try the Liege famous meatball and second time just for a salad,The food is good, the beer is good, the service is really good! The menu is both in French and English and you can scan it from the camera
I don’t have anything nice to say about this place.Honestly I think the 1-star is way too high for this place. There might be nice ppl working here but we didnt notice.First of all it took the waiter a very long time to come and help us.When he finally arrived he told us we weren’t allowed to order fries on the side and he just laughed at me when I asked which wine he thought was nice??Then we ordered a main with fries and suddenly we were able to get extra portion of fries?!?!The chicken was dry, i’m pretty sure i found a hair in my fries (and i really dont want to think about that), fries were cold and we had to ask for sauce or salt...And of course the waiter did not check up once to see if everything was alright.WHICH IT WASNT.I never write a review but i just had to.
It is a charming restaurant with a big menu. The food was good and the service was nice. Only one servant spoke English, but would still recommend!
On suggestion of someone at another table we took the local speciality, Boulet Liégeois... No regrets, with the sweet sauce. This was a good recommendation. The style is very casual, waiters were friendly and helpful, even though it was quite busy.
Very nice typical Belgian place that had a huge variety of dishes for every taste! If it’s your first time in the city or you would like to have a good dinner, this is for you! Smiley and friendly stuff speaks English very good. Highly recommended!
Straightforward, good cooking.Very long menu in 4 or 5 languages. Decent prices.Oldschool atmosphere, not trying to be fancy. In the city center.Quick service, one friendlier then the other. We had the meatballs Liege style an the osso buco.Apple almond pie for dessert.Everything tasted very good.Would come back for sure
Lively, pretty nice food, great atmosphere.
Good pleasant dinner place. Had mussels with garlic butter, which were good. We sat on Terrance and there was a powerful heater so I didn’t feel cold.
Tasty food at reasonable prices. Nice location, quick service and friendly staff who speak English.
Great menu. Good service. Neat venue. Right next to underground parking and in the heart of Liege. All the staff spoke English. Great dining experience.
The boulets were delicious, service was great and they were patient with my french. As a tourist, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Gracie Mario for this wonderful dinner Fatou “SUR measure”. The food was esquise. Italian food brought at art. The place is very pleasant for a nice evening.
Very nice atmosphere! The personnel is not intrusive, the service is at a level. The kitchen is flawless! Admiration for chefs
If youre in Belgium, try the waffles! And this fine little restaurant offers much more as well.
Liege meatballs is tasty. Services are fast and professional. The entire restaurant is non-smoking.
The place is positioned right in front of the Opera House, which gives you a very nice view. The food was really good with a good veriaty of Belgium and international dishes. Mind the time you want to come over, because it will be busy during the regular dinner times. Reservations are recommended.
In spite fear of restaurant being too touristy, the food is actually quite good. Friendly staff, perfect restaurant if youre looking to have a taste of the local menu.
I enjoyed the vol-au-vent and local meatballs. The prices are on the rather high side, but the quality of the food and service is very good. I will definitely come again!
Nice restaurant with a great selection of food. Prices are typical of city centre restaurants but the starters are a little pricey. Starters are around €15 each with main courses ranging from €15-26. There is a good selection of salads, seafood, pasta and meat dishes available as well as an extensive drinks menu. Portion sizes are generous and the staff are very friendly and helpful
Bad service, and unfriendly staff. They were rude to us. The food was overall terrible and the meatballs I ordered was the same quality as the meatballs you can buy at the nearest gasstation in The Netherlands.
I like the place very much. Its opposite the Opera House. It also is a perfect meeting point: you can have a coffee or a beer while you wait for others.
Staff OK, TOO EXPENSIVE for what it is. Ive had more legit Liège food in other and cheaper restaurants in Liège. We paid 10€ for a grilled cheese that had nothing special and 5€ for a waffle. Waffle was good but geez the price was too much!Im sorry but Im not sure I would recommend it...Picture: gaufre liégeoise
Very good food and staff was very pleasant and witty too! I really enjoyed the dinner here with outlook to the charming Opera house.
I come here occasionally for their great 330gr Irish entrecôte and I haven’t been disappointed. Courteous staff and fast service :-)
Very tasty dishes, medium priced.spent about 80€ for two. Helpful staff. Close to parking. Overall a good time.
Food is amazing and quick service. Portions are not small! Both the stew and the Boulets are definitely recommended. Also good selection of beers and super friendly staff. This is definitely a nice place in Liege if you want to dine amongst locals. Make a reservation in advance, place is pretty packed, and ask for a place inside - the terrace outside is nice except for super bright lights that take away the atmosphere
We were still waiting for the main course 1h30 minutes after ordering... the excuse they gave us was that they just ran out of french fries so they were doing more... Very poor service Im afraid. It takes just one minute to warn you about that. We paid our two beers and left the place... not the smallest sign of sorry from the service but rather a good degree of contempt from their side is what we got... Unacceptable
Take a sangria while waiting for your "boulet de Liège"... Perfect combo. (One "boulet" is already enough. I could barely finish a second one). The personnel is nice and welcoming.
Very good and typical restaurant. Its tasty and good value for money. There is a big terrasse with a great view on the Opera. The service is also very correct.
It was a nice sidewalk place with a good selection on the menu. Nothing was bad and nothing was spectacular. But it was a nice sunny day overlooking a major street intersection. The waiter was good. So all in all, it was a win.
