The story behind the shop is fascinating and for a drink it is really affordable. My advice if you have tried Braga before try the version with lemonade. The building is also really cool and it is one of the most beloved places in town. The lady was really friendly and helpful and helped me and my friends out. The tiles on the floor are captivating, the chairs remind me of the chairs my grandmother had and most importantly it just has that historical feel to it which not a lot of places have it, a sort of new and old combined into one.

Un loc faimos pentru bragă, limonadă și înghețată artizanală - naturale, fara amelioratori de vreun fel. Un loc încărcat de istorie și tradiții mascat sub aspectul unei cofetării banale din vremea comunismului.Am înțeles că familia ce deține cofetăria a mai deschis în Slatina și o locație nouă, care e mai mult spre cafenea, dar pe aceasta din urmă nu am vizitat-o.

Historical place in Slatina, ruled by Albanian people since 300 years (they said so and there are newspaper articles on the wall). They sell just ice cream, an ice-creamed sweet and a strange beverage called braga. I recommend this last one, its a fermented drink with an amazing and weird taste.

Amazing "bragă" and ice-cream. Everything is made following some decades old recipes and the taste is unique.If you ever come close to Slatina, you have to stop and try the sweets and quench your thirst with a glass of cold bragă.

A very exquisite place. One can find here Turkish delight (rahat), nougat (alvita), some drinks like braga, lemonade and a great variety of ice-cream. All are made with natural ingredients and all have an original taste. Thats why they are so famous.

BEST ICE CREAM ANYWHERE - homemade, family recipe is too good to be true. And the ice cream cakes are gorgeous, the design is very nostalig, reminiscent of pre 89 Eastern Europe - I hope they dont change the cake designs.Must try: the millet beer - I have never tasted miller beer this good. Actually I dont like any millet beer except the one by this familys recipe.
