Atlantic City Convention Center - Convention centre in Atlantic City, United States
Super easy parking. Outstanding restrooms ( everything worked on em! and solid security.
Had a dance competition here last month and the staff was incredible as was the venue.
Easy to get to including train from Philadelphia. Parking staff friendly and helpful. Area clean and well lit.
Still many homeless around, space was clean, but overall not safe to leave valuables, staff were nice
Was there Labor day weekend on Saturday 9/3 for NABA basketball tournament. Lots of space for basketball, volleyball and badminton courts. Multiple games going on! Interesting and fun times!
Plenty of space, easy to navigate and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wide open spaces for large events. Easy access via car or train. Great location with plenty of hotels within walking distance and shopping across the street.
I was considering having a event at the Atlantic city convention center. I called but no one answered. I wanted to get a visual of the space. My wife and I decided to go and speak to someone and take a look at the space. When we arrived, instantly the security officer seemed alarmed and very apprehensive. I needed help. I wanted to find a help desk or customer service. But from the security officer demeanor, I didnt want to have a long dialog with him. So I asked him do they have a map directory. He told me they dont give that information out since 911. You can see and hear the fear in his face and voice. To calm his nerves i told him what we was there for. He quickly flagged another man like it was a emergency. I spoke to the other man. He was very cordial. He said I needed to speak to Michael Reynolds. He proceeded to get him for us. While we was waiting. Another female security officer came. They was staring and pointing at us. They made us feel very uncomfortable. Like we were up to something or criminals. Michael Reynolds came out and showed us around. He seemed nervous and distrustful of us too. They made my wife so uncomfortable, she walked out and waited for me outside. She later called me and told me she wanted to leave. When i was leaving i noticed security officers at different points staring my wife. We found out later that theres a map directory on the website. The security officer lied to us!!! Our experience there was horrible. We was treated like criminal terrorists. If you scared get another job!! We was dressed appropriate, was respectful, and conducted ourselves as adults. As a black man he couldve put my wife and i lives and freedom at risk due to their suspicions and fears!!!
Its a huge operation. Great , clean facility and more than anything great connectivity with Sheraton that makes convention life easy. We were attending a program where 4500 people were involved and everything was well managed. All safety staff was curtious and friendly.
Its very spacious facility that could easily accomodate 4000 guests for various activities. Not sure if audio systems are in house that needs a bit of refinement.
Clean, clean, clean!!! We went to the Jurassic quest first weekend of August every thing was clean not overly busy. I had time to see everything more than once. The bathrooms were impressively clean. Parking to our event was nice and close. We had a great day.
Convention center was awesome and huge. Parking was nice and convenient, as long as you dont miss it cuz itll put you right back on the freeway.
Was here for the NAACP National Convention. Very limited food options here. The space is huge and the perfect for any event of this scale. However, food options should be increased.
Very nice place. Bathrooms get pretty nasty but a quite modern. Food options are good but they get busy really fast.
The parking garage is well lit and clean. Entrance to the center was well marked and easily accessible. Bathrooms were clean. Food is is meh and expensive, but what do you expect from a generic food counter? The show we were there to see was ok, but the convention floor was big and clean.
The staff are friendly, it is centrally located, that is where the positives of this place end. I have been to many convention centers around the country, this is the worst one so far. They do not have enough facilities to support the size of the space. Not enough food vendors, parking fills up and you have very few options nearby. The surrounding area has very few support features like hotels and restaurants. Overall not a great environment to support a professional atmosphere.
Awesome experience for National card convention. Parking was only issue. Huge space friendly staff.
Nice facility for a convention. Modern amenities and decent food options.
Huge spot to handle all your convention/conference needs.Adjacent to AC Sheraton, walking distance to a lot of other casino hotels, 5 minute drive to basically all the others.NJ Transit ends/begins at the Center too, lots of parking on-site, more parking in nearby lots.2 minute walk to the AC outlet stores.
Awesome Convention Center, Parking is the only issue but if you use the streets bye the beach and walk, you wont have an issue.
Been here several times for conventions and various shows... The staff is always very pleasant. The place is always clean....Parking SUCKS... Their garage fills up fast and so its lot or street parking and you gotta hoof it..... Be prepared for that..$$
Very nice security, parking staff helpful. Nice building, love the bathrooms and convenience to NJ transit train/station.
The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen in a convention center.
Huge venue, but perfect . Very clean with great acoustics , close restrooms and plenty of places to eat.
The AC Convention Center was great! Plentiful and well lit parking underground. All staff were very nice and helpful. Signage is easy to read. The entire place is extremely spacious for large events.
Was here for the PSE expo to see some Law Enforcement brands such as Shieldbox. Was very happy with the size of the venue, especially during these times. Booths were spread out and there is a NJ mandate to wear masks. I will be visiting here again next year when I’m back in town for the convention.
In town for Zero Gravity AAU Basketball Tournament. Had a great time. Over 70 16U teams alone. Food, water and facilities in the right place.
Several security staff around, who were all kind, approachable, funny...bringing joy to those of us simply entering for our conference! The bathrooms were all modernized and always clean.Food and drink options are EXPENSIVE! $5 /bottle soda, $8 for a breakfast sandwich (which was super tasty!)The conference rooms varied in size, providing differing learning environments.
A great facility for these (Boat shows, etc.Parking however is criminal. Tickets for show and parking get a bit expensive, not to mention finding a spot the says compact cars only and a pickup truck has parked in a spot that causes one able to park next to it as they have caused a bottle neck. Some one needs to direct those larger vehicles to a better location!
Nice convention center facilities. We were there for a Gymnastics meet and it was good for that purpose. Concessions in the large rooms and a nice common area outside. Parking was darn expensive at 20 bucks. Lots of bathrooms as well. Easy to get into from the parking garage.
No seating. 10 hour day on your feet. There should be chairs, tables and couches everywhere. $20 a day parking fee. $13 a day WiFi fee. Great building. Friendly, helpful staff. Disgraceful management.
Took my daughter to the Dino Stroll, nice venue but wish the had a small dinosaur roaming the floor.
It was fun going to the convention center in AC.Everyone was friendly and chill.Lots of great vendors and staff!!!Looking forward to the next one.
Went for my 2nd shot. Our US Air Force personnel ran the place like a well oiled plane. In and out in 30 minutes! Thanks for all you do!
Big praise for all the people who pulled off the amazingly efficient operation for my 100yr old Grandpa to get his COVID vaccine shot. GREAT, human, interactions with all of the Armed Services and Hospital team members that helped pull it off. Each process point rarely took more than 5min each.Just know going in that this whole process is fluid and were all figuring this out together : 🇺🇸🌎What would bump it to give stars: flagging in advance a lot of the tribal knowledge the boots on the ground had. 1/2mi from door to vaccination (so we could know and bring our own walker/wheelchair), where to park/drop-off, who qualifies for being a Companion to help, estimated time to XYZ point (like security line timing displays with TSA), etc. All of this knowledge was on hand when we ended up needing it and everyone was super helpful to support us through it, just would have been less stressful being able to set expectations in advance.
Bathrooms are spotless. Staff are very friendly. RV show didnt have a lot of vender for camping merchandise.but it was nice
Never been here before till last Saturday for Tow show. Its is very nice and clean convention center with nice parking lot but little expensive parking fees i think they could do better on parking prices bit in general this is very nice place if you looking for place to do some type of show it is your place to go to. I am highly recommended this place to my friends.
Super fun place! Happen to be visiting the city for work, so I ventures out to go shopping. Showed up just in time to see they were having a convention going on, so excited to see it was just my kind of friends.
The first IDRLC Drone Racing event. Facility and employees were great. Hope to be back again for another event.
The convention center is huge. We came here for the basketball tournament, The Main Event May 3-5th. They have over 15 basketball courts, snack bars, candy bar, popcorn stand and cookie shop. Variety of things to eat. Lots of seating to eat. All the staff was friendly and fun! They were very professional and greeting everyone.
I attended my AKA Sorority Convention (NARC), from April 4-7th. My room was on the 11th floor, very near the elevator. It was as advertised 2 queen beds, with TV, nice size bathroom with shower. The only room feature that we didnt like was that the light switch for the bathroom was on the outside of the bathroom door.We used Room Service and they did an excellent job fulfilling our order to perfection. Everything was still hot upon arrival.Jalil checked us in on April 4th, Jamillah assisted me with retrieving my luggage from the room at 2:30 am Sunday Morning, So I could pack up my car early. She had the valet bring my car around and packed it as per my instructions. That way I was able to beat the check out rush!! Jamil did a great job in checking us out, and finally split the bill. The only other issue that we had was, that my Roommate had made the original Reservations, using her Name and Credit Card, she added my name to the Reservation later. But, they said that they couldnt add my Credit Card To split the bill, until we checked out!! In all of the hotels that Ive visited over 40 decades, this was the First Time that I ever recall having this experience!! All in all we had a had a great stay!!
Came here for the boat show this time around, been here for many conventions. This place is awesome! Food is great, bathrooms are always clean, shows are always worth the money.
Great exhibit, only complaint I have is that it was EXTREMELY pricey. $5-$6 for a bottle of water? Over all I had taken my son and he loved it. Loved the fact that spongebob was there and he got to meet him. He loved going on the boats and pretending to drive them. All of the people showing the boats were very nice and played along with him. Well definitely go again, but bring our own drinks and snacks lol
Every year a group of us go to the Atlantic City Convention Center for the big Car Auction. On the way down we stop at Kerbecks Car Dealer to drool over the new Corvettes. We spend the day at the Center and then walk across the street to the Tun Tavern for a delicious dinner. Cant wait to do it again.
I have been here many times. This time was for the car show. I have been to better venues so Im giving four stars but overall a good visit.
AC Beer Fest. Boss Tones. Great 🍺. Great friends. Local breweries Alementary- Brix City. Major powers Allagash Avery Stone Firestone Walker. Beer passport stamping. The fun run and 5k was cool. Runners in costume. The big brew party was at Alphabet City Brewing Co. Who did the AC Beerfest beer. Add Schmaltz Brewing 5 djs and let the party begin. Look up the videos
I judge convention center by it washroom cleanliness. For three thousand plus guests the place was kept clean for over 12hour period. The floor was spotless a plesant surprise. The WiFi was turned off during the conference do not know why. Parking was simple. For the convention in out privileges was enabled that helped.
I worked a booth for Sea School. It was a nice venue. The convention managers were constantly asking us if we needed anything to make our booth more better. Also if we needed anything. Great crowd and clean restrooms and food areas !! It’s a very pleasant atmosphere to be at. We signed up a good amount of future Captains. Thank you, Captain Bob Larsen.
I came to the boat show for the first time and to my amazement it was a great experience the models and exhibition of the boats were amazing the set up of the boats on the show floor wereI would love to return next year
Very clean and modern convention center. In the past month, I have been to three different convention centers. I have been to this one twice in the past month. I dont go to a convention center for the food... Just like you dont go to a concert for the food. So I am not going to discuss it. However, below I discuss other "non" convention center dining options. The center has 4 floors of convention space. With escalators and elevators. There is parking for a fee (price varies due to event). There is also valet service for a fee.The convention center is on one side of the Sheraton Hotel. On the other side of the hotel is an outdoor Outlet Mall (Tanger Outletswith several dining options. The Outlets are less than a 5 minute walk from the convention center. The Boardwalk, Beach and Ceasars Casino are another 5 minute walk from the otherside of the outlets. ( So a 10 - 15 min walk from the convention center). Sometimes parking at Ceasars is cheaper than parking at the convention center. There is also more dining options at Ceasars and on the Boardwalk. Also right behind Ceasars on the Beach is another mall called "Playground Pier" which has additional dining options. So needless to say, dont listen to the people who complain about needing more options for places to eat at. And this is Atlantic City so nothing is going to be less expensive. Everything just costs more here. Thats the way it is.
As far as convention centers go this was nice. Clean facility, friendly staff and very accommodating to the group. There were over 1000 soccer players at our event and, unlike other venues, the ACCC let the kids warm up, practice and just have fun doing what they love to do. It was pretty refreshing!
