Terrible company all the way around. Attempted to cancel my membership(months agoin store after having a very uncomfortable interaction with the guy working the store. I was told I needed to cancel through customer service. Called and had a lengthy conversation with a representative who was very apologetic for the situation I reported and promised to investigate. She also happily "canceled" my membership and refunded me for June and July. Ive not been back to the salon since. But today noticed a $68 withdrawal on my account. Pulled up statement to find Ive been charged $5-$15 a month since July 6th. And then the $68 in Oct. Go to store where Im told I need to call customer service. Call customer service to be told they have no record of me ever canceling the membership. Or record of the "recorded" call with them previously and that it would have been impossible for a customer service representative to have canceled my membership because that had to be done in store or online. Yet I 100% DID cancel on the phone with a rep. Although they apparently cannot find that recorded call. Customer service informs me that I froze my account instead of canceling it and that they have a signed form of thos freeze. Well as many signatures as Ive put on that electronic pad for tanning, applying my bank card for automatic withdrawal, agreeing to tanning terms etc they obviously have the ability to add an e-signature to any form they please and it would appear thats what they have done. They are not willing to pull surveillance of me "signing " this form nor of the call u placed canceling the membership. Absolutely horrible, greedy company who apparently invests nothing in training of employees for stores or customer service since no one has the same information to offer as the next person. I only tanned here because of the close proximity to my business but I suggest finding a non franchise salon to do business with. At the Beach has numerous law suits for similar situations to mine and far worse. They do not care one bit about wrongfully charging customers not to even mention some of the characters they have working in stores. Run!!!!!!!!!

I needed to tan due to the heat burned me last year. I got a good base tan so I can oat the river plus a medical application for my uticaria.Nice people.
Nakisha is amazing! I listened to her talk to a customer that seemed to be upset about an auto draft. She acted in the most respectful way. She helped problem solve the customer’s concerns with grace and dignity. Broken Arrow At the Beach you need to keep Nakisha!!!On a side note, I meet her last summer but didn’t know she was the same person (new hair styleuntil I witnessed how she dealt with the upset customer. I recognized her voice, her kind spirit. Glad she is back. She is an asset to this company.
Bed broke in half and I was fired for no reason. This is a huge issue. Bias issue and I think court will be involved soon qq

Dustin is amazing! He gets ya in and out in a timely manner, he is extremely knowledgeable of the beds and lotions and what would be best for getting a awesome tan😎 He’s the best!!

Ive tanned at lots of salons; however, the customer service, the amazing beds, and the multiple tanning options offered by At The Beach blow all other tanning salons out of the water.At The Beach also offers red light therapy, which is a huge plus!
I love At The Beach!!!! The people are always courteous and very friendly. The beds are always clean and sanatized. I always have a great experience.
Sorry had to deduct some stars after the horrible experience I had here! Went there 2 times yesterday and left 2 times with out tanning! There are a few of employees who seem absolutely miserable and would rather be anywhere else than at their job! Not to mention they never help you or resolve the Issues! Always have to call someone else!
I can’t wait to try out the new bed once it gets installed it sounds so AMAZING two services in one and less time is perfect for my schedule!!!The staff is awesome and I love that they know my name and always ask how my day is going. McKenzie and Dustin always go the extra mile to make sure to help people and answer any questions you may have and I have noticed this whenever I have to wait for my favorite bed. Truly impressive. I recommend you guys to everyone that asks where I tan. Best beds with the best prices by far and I have pretty much been to all the other tanning places around.
Wont give prices for tanning packages over the phone. Super inconvenient. If this is how it goes before a tanning membership, Im glad I know! Whew! Rude about it too.
They have a sign out front. No commitment. $14.95 sun or spray tan FOR ONE SESSION.(There is no * or some restrictions apply on their sign either, maybe they should add it for their scam)Then they want to now say inside pay $20 enrollment fee or buy a product. I then agree to buy a $6.95 packet, now she says it must be more after they charge my card. They want monthly billing and cancel when you want.In their sign it doesnt say some restrictions apply or check for more details.DONT ADVERTISE 14.95 ONE TIME SPRAY AND THEN SAY SORRY THATS NOT THE DEAL. GET YOUR BUSINESS TOGETHER, PLUS ITS COVID, YOU THINK THEY WOULD WANT THE BUSINESS.In their book they have nothing about this product, even Abbey the Area GM was rude and knows nothing about her product or stores.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE
I have shown up twice now around 10:30 AM in the past 2 weeks and nobody is here, the facility is still closed although the paper on the door states M-F hours are 10-8. How is this acceptable? I’ve never experienced this at any business before!
I would highly recommend this location because the customer service is the absolute best, the beds are amazing and I love their spray tan machine! When I was new to tanning Brooke P. gave me the best recommendations of which lotions to use!
Went in to get a quick color to this pale skin. McKenzie was so helpful, answering all of my questions and helping me find the right tanning solution for me.
My daughters bought a groupon for this place and were treated horribly by management. They were told that they were not real customers and she had real customers to take care of. She refused to give her name or honor the groupon. Finally, after returning, she honored the groupon reluctantly. This was the worst customer service we have ever had.
I went in to check out the place and I loved it. The staff was so friendly and wonderful plus they made an appointment for me that is convenient for me to get my new tanning package going. I cannot wait to start tanning here. :)
I like this location. Everybody has been very kind and helpful. Im fairly new and they are always good to answer all my questions and make suggestions.

WORST TANNING PLACE I’VE EVER GONE TO. 1 the staff is awful and takes forever to sign everyone in. 2 they do not inform you that you’re signing a year of payments and if you want to get out or IF YOU MOVE you have to pay 200$ to cancel a TANNING membership!!! I’m moving and there is no location in claremore and I had no idea this was a year thing, so to cancel it they informed me I have to pay 200 to cancel it. Overpriced, horrible staff, and they will screw you over. Will be spreading the word on how horrible this place is.
i love this store and all of the employees are super nice and always helpful. i was in the store the other night with my sister and niece and two girls came in and were very very rude to the manager. they were harrasing her and yelling at her and causing a big scene. through all of it, she stayed super professional and nice and told them she would help them when she could. she told them what the store policy was and they continued to yell at her because it wasn’t in the fine print on groupon. they were completely awful and my niece began to cry because of how crazy they were acting. i have never seen anyone handle a situation like this so professionally. jacy was nothing but nice and i will recommend everyone i know to go see her!
An employee JACY BURDICK in Broken Arrow refused service to my sister and I and was completely rude and unprofessional to us. She lied and told us we had to schedule an appointment to tan. She hung up on us several times and said she didn’t have time for us. Called us rude and crazy. Pointed and laughed at us and gossiped among the customers while we were in the store and could hear her. She continuously ignored us and let other guests that came in after us tan before us. Very disappointed as I was really looking forward to trying out this new place that I’ve never been. I will never ever go back and I will tell everyone I know about my experience.
After watching two young girls mistreat an employee, I have even more love for this place. Kiddos to the manager on duty last night for her patience with such disrespectful and outright deplorable young ladies.Those 2 young girls were extremely aggressive and threatening to both the staff and other customers. One lady even had a child that witnessed them acting this way. Every customer in the store was outrages by their behavior. Management was patient amd kimd, but shouldve asked to leave. Corporate needs to BAN BEHAVIOR LIKE THIS FROM ANYONE IN THEIR STORES to provide a safer, nonthreatening environment for EVERYONE.
Recently went in to get a membership and the manager was so nice and friendly! She helped me with everything I needed and explained everything amazingly! Even while dealing with some of the rudest customers while I was in there she stayed so professional. The tanning beds and products are awesome as well. Seriously not one complaint! I would HIGHLY recommend going to this store and seeing Jacy for all your tanning needs!
Margaret was very friendly I had a bad accident which resulted in many noticeable scars that I wanted to try to cover up with a tan she took the time and explained everything that I can do to help me feel better about myself I would recommend her and this place to anybody.
I absolutely LOVE this store and location! Brandon is amazing and super friendly (but the whole staff is awesome and friendly as well!the beds are totally kick butt and get me the darkest tan I could ever want. I love all of the things about these beds, staff, and prices! Would recommend to everyone!

Scan card has yet to work at any location. New to tanning. Asked for 6 minutes, bed was still going at 8. Good thing i was paying attention or i would have burned! Memorial location was much more friendly.
Customer service was amazing and everyone was very welcoming to the experience! The staff was very friendly and I felt that I received accurate information, and knew what I was getting into.
The experience was outstanding! The staff was extremely helpful and imformative. I was able to understand all of the information and if i was unclear they made sure to help me understand. Definately will be coming again
October 4 2016.. (last yearI signed up for a year membership. Towards the end of it September 2017 i go in to cancel my membership and Im told I cant until Oct 4th so I say okay no problem then he tells me that I can freeze my acct for Oct and only pay $10 instead of the usual $27 okay perfect and i can come in on Oct 5th and cancel everything and he said yes! Well the 5th came and I was busy so I went In a week late and tried to cancel and they want ME to pay $100 to end MY year membership that I have already fulfilled!!!!!I had so many people try to tell me not to go there but I did for convenience since I live in the 101st and elm area and also had daycare but 6 months months into the membership they get rid of daycare AND move to 71st and aspen area so no more convenience.I would not wish this kind of aggression on my worse enemy. They only train their employees to get customers to spend more money and if you go in with your own lotion from somewhere else they will dog you for it. Every time I walk in the girl working there has her hair brush and pack of smokes just laying on the counter, thats just nasty!And their customer service number is a joke!!!! Leave a message and theyll get back to you in 48 business hours! And thats typically when Im busy. When I call its when I have time to deal with my problem not when its convenient for you!So basically I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!!!!
Worst experience EVER!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Tried to get out of contract and got nothing but the run around. Try to call customer service and they NEVER return your calls. Try to charge you $100 AFTER you already fulfill your year contract. BEWARE!!!

Im away from my home area At The Beach & have been going here for 2 weeks & the bed Ive been using is so great. It is hot & has really upped my level of darkness. I enjoy tanning & all the people @ this location are very friendly & made me feel as if Id been here for years. I met the new mgr last night & she was so helpful & friendly. She is so personable & it helps when you are out of your norm . The salon was clean, very well stocked with tanning supplies & I got right in ,NO waiting. I definitely will be back even when I go back to my home area!!! Thanks to you all for making my tanning visit enjoyable!👙
Love the new store in Broken Arrow and all the staff there. They are always nice and do everything they can to make the experience enjoyable. Always greet you when you walk in and say by when you leave. Beds are clean and bulbs are always fresh.
My husband and I recently bought the 7 day Groupon for At The Beach. We went to the Broken Arrow location. From the moment we walked through the door Jessica made us feel right at home. She is very personable and treats everyone that walks in the door like a friend. I was extremely impressed that she remembered both of our names after just one meeting; and she greeted everyone else that came in by name too. She goes above and beyond with every customer that walks through the door. The place is very clean. The beds are the best quality. Tonight after my spray ran in the versa spa it was pouring down rain. Jessica wrapped me in a trash bag to protect my new spray tan from the rain, ran outside and opened my car door for me. Above & beyond! This store is amazing! I highly recommend it!
The Newest Location on the Southeast Corner of 71st & Aspen is absolutely wonderful! A complete turnaround of what the old location was. The staff is small, only a couple of employees. Store Manager at BA is phenomenal and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Love this place and will not go anywhere else.
So excited about this new location!The doors close and lock! Its clean and inviting! Hair nets and hand/foot cream and towels stocked in spray tan beds! Equipment is well taken care of!Best of all was meeting Jessica, who genuinely cared about my tanning needs and experience!! Best At The Beach location in Tulsa area!

I really like the workout facility and its rarely crowded. Customer service is awesome. The only reason for not giving 5 stars us that theres only one 369 bed and it was open for a week with 3 bulbs out. I just tanned in a hybrid bed instead. I wish the toning tables were kept up in better shape for the high price of my membership. However, I think my membership is definitely worth it and feel very comfortable here!
Cancelled my wifes membership and was still being charged a monthly fee by their office. Had to cancel my credit card so I would no longer get billed. Would not recommend this gym to anyone.
the workers here are so rude and THEY WILL NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER i was in a hurry and needed to tan real quick i already have a membership somewhere else i just didnt have time to drive across town so i went here and they literally talked to me trying to convince me to buy a package and how my tanning salon sucked and blah blah blah for 30 minutes! i was so mad then she didnt even tell me how to work the bed and by the time i realized i couldnt figure it out i had already undressed and the bed was about to start so i got dressed and went to go find her and she was outside on the phone smoking and i said can you help me work the bed and she rolled her eyes and huffed! the bed had already started when we came back in the room and she showed me how to work the fan and the radio was playing max volume on the bed and it was just static so i was like how do you either turn off the radio or change the station and she was like hmm i dont actually know sorry by this time the bed had been going for like 5 minutes without me and she wouldnt even start it over so i payed 50 for a one time tan for half the time. now that its a couple months later im trying to find a new tanning salon near me and i would go here if it wasnt for this terrible experience!
The employees are friendly. The beds are good, the more pricey ones I pay for, have not worked for 3 weeks, going on 4. I still had to pay the full price. One lady is never on time when opening.
Rude staff, not friendly, not knowledgeable. And corporate is even worse! RARELY paper towes, toiilet paper. Have to stand in line ALWAYS. Before you get checked in. I have never ever given a review and im 43 years old. Please dont go here! One more thing try to push their products on you EVERY TIME!Lisa M
Horrible!! Can't tell u how many times I've got undressed & in the bed & they forget to turn the bed on or their having problems with the bed. So I have to get dressed again & switch beds.<br/>An employee even told me she could add the level 3 versa to my package for 1$ and when I got the bill it was 12$ more a month! I didn't sign anything for that and corporate would not remove it.<br/>Waste of time & money!!! And rude careless employees !
