I am posting this after a while. Should have posted it longtime back. Here is the summary:1The room was not clean and there was some kind of faint smell inside2Water flow was not good3The door to the room had a gap below. That is, there was a sizeable gap between the door and the floor below, so outside noise come in a lot.4No parking, spent hours finding street parking around in an unknown location

Nice location, one block from the beach. Has a pool and a few sitting areas. No parking but I wasn’t driving so it wasn’t a problem. Staff was helpful. They were able to hold my luggage until check in. Bar in the back. Entrance at the front and side.

I dont enjoy giving poor reviews, but I think my recent experience warrants it:1. Poor cleanliness and upkeep: Im talking white bed sheets with old stains, mold in the mattress, curtains with (what seemed likespecks of dry paint, and somewhat-broken furniture. My particular room had a night-table whose electric plugs were detached from its intended location. Terrifyingly enough, I found a still-live cockroach in my bathroom after the first night.2. No hot water. Water was either "cold" or "colder". Not a deal-breaker in a hot climate, but not certainly an experience thats worth paying for.3. Poor Wi-Fi reception. There are spots in the building where Wi-Fi is just not powerful enough, and my room was unfortunately one of them. I could get Wi-Fi outside in the common areas, but not inside my room.4. Room service was awful. I placed the "please clean room" sign on my doorknob and asked the front desk for the room-cleaning schedule, and they said "between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM". "Great!" I thought, until I came back at 5 PM and found my room completely untouched. I went back to the front desk, and they informed me that the cleaning service had stopped for today, and that I would need to wait until the next day for service. They then informed me that if I needed clean towels, I could always ask the front desk for more, but this was not told to me beforehand when checking in, nor is it a true replacement for proper room service. The second day, I placed the sign on the doorknob again, and left in the morning. I arrive at midday to check if the room was clean, and it wasnt! The front desk told me that my "room was next". I returned mid-afternoon to find my room (finallyserviced, however the (new?bedsheets still had stains, and they forgot to put a liner on the sole trash can in the bathroom. Needless to say, I gave up on proper room service after this.5. The front desk was only somewhat helpful through all of this -- most of the time it seemed like they were trying to hand-wave my problems away. It seems like they are either mostly powerless to truly solve problems, or possibly arent concerned for chronic issues like the ones I experienced. Some small annoyances, such as lack of dedicated parking facilities, poor signage when trying to find my room, and the outdoor bar being closed during my stay also contributed to the poor experience, but werent necessarily dealbreakers. Ill also give credit where its due: the building itself is quite cute, and the room AC was the hardest-working one in all of Santurce. The location is very convenient, and the access to most of the restaurants and beaches walking distance made it very easy to stay the hell away from my room most of the time, however going back at night was an exercise in misery.I truly hope the owners realize that, while the location can carry them far in the hospitality industry, only the quality of the service will eventually prove to be the differentiating factor in rapidly-gentrifying Santurce. They have lots of competition, and I will certainly be on the lookout for a different place to stay for my next trip.

Dont even know where to start. Got there on a Friday morning they had my room ready. The reception made sure as soon as I stepped in their lobby that I was comfortable and taken care for. Ivelisse the manager of Wind Chime personally made sure I had all needed to feel welcomed at all time. I was very please with the cleanliness of my room. Lived the white linen very clean towels. The room was a dream my husben was in san juan fir work and I accompany him. It was so perfect because our one year and is in September and it felt like we had started the early celebration with the super romantic place. Loved the pool. Every corner of the hotel is a magical little place where you can lounge and enjoy this beautiful island. Its about 3 min walk from a very secluded beautiful beach. Walking distance from the supermarket. Only 13 min from the airport. Have to say I was down the road from la concha resort and I had nothing to envie I was in a better place. If you are looking for that peaceful special place look no further they have it all love you guys looking forward to visiting soon and more often ❤❤❤❤❤

Get what you pay for and truly dont expect much..a few of the reviews are no exaggeration..room was definitely musky..3 thin pillows for 2 of us ..I asked front desk for another..his response" you have three, thats more than enough"..being on vacation I brushed off ALOT of attitude and kept the peace ..but trust me when I say this place is low budget/lacking in customer service/house keeping is a nightmare..its only the truth..After the front desk incident..the following day the house keeper used my wash cloth to clean the mirror & toilet ..how can I be sure you may ask..? Because you can smell the soap on the mirror..also the soap smeared lines were a dead giveaway and on the top of the toilet..the shower or the floors were never touched..I wiped the floor with a floor mat which were pitch black ..the floor was never cleaned before during and Im sure after we left..the hangers have spider webs..the curtains have laundry clips holding them up..I pulled the duvet back..an seen a very questionable stain on my sheets..definitely had to remove that sheet off the bed..please note after the pillow incident I was NOT reporting any of it to the staff..reason being IF the staff cared enough from the get-go..I wouldnt have been in that predicament..but yes the place is in a great location from the beach..its very quiet at night..street parking..not wheel chair accessible..IF you lose your room key its $150 & if your a smoker you have to leave the property..if you smoke on the property or room..its a $200 charge..there are many places along the beach front with way better accommodations and staff than this place ..I DO NOT recommend this place..and dont let the owners excuses fool you of "the hurricane" or "we tried" ..they did not try..all the other hotels have stepped up after covid/hurricane/& any other excuses..my advise..spend alittle more..and you wont have this happening to you or your family..(Side notethe picture with the bottle and sock ..have been sitting like that FOR 4 FKIN DAYS ! no staff has touched it..thats just a small idea of how the place is run..

A lot of money to sleep at a dumpster! I wish I could submit all pictures taken of the room...nasty!! I really dislike to leave negative comments, but this time is worthy. Enough of reaping out tourists pockets; appeal words, a few nice pics, marketing strategies and then when clients get there....is a whole new story!Cleanness and comfort were not available.. Disappointed.

On arrival the front door was locked and there was a paper telling us to call a number to enter if no one answered the bell (which they said was broken). After calling the number and wasting 30 minutes talking to an essentially useless employee we were finally able to get into the hotel only to be met by an awful smelling, run down lobby. The front desk was basically non existent and the only reason the staff even interacted with us was to charge the fees for our stay. If you have any heavy luggage good luck getting it into your room, there is no parking and the employees will not offer you any assistance or provide anything to help you carry your things. Upon entering the room it reeked of cleaning chemicals which one of the members of my party is very sensitive to, causing them to experience moderate allergy like symptoms. After informing the front desk all they did was come to the room just to tell us to our faces that it didn’t smell like anything to them and that the room was cleaned hours ago. This was frustrating as one of us was evidently reacting to the smell, so we told them we did not plan to stay the additional nights of our reservation and all they had to say was that the contract of our stay stated it was non-refundable. As for the room itself it was very crammed, and I had no idea what they were “cleaning” in the hours before we got there. The floors of the room and bathroom were moldy and full of dirt, the sheets of the beds were stained and itchy, the furniture was dusty, the window and bathroom sills were full of rust, and to top it all off they gave us dirty towels. Overall horrible experience, DO NOT stay here even if you’re trying to budget. The pictures are very misleading and it will be almost nothing like what you are expecting. The only upside to the inn is that it’s near Condado and the beach, but as mentioned there is no parking and the inn is located on a narrow road making it a hassle to carry your luggage in. It’s clear all the management cares about is getting your money and the staff showed effectively no compassion towards us as guests. Even if we can’t get our money back hopefully this review can save you from making the same mistake we did, if you can spend the extra money to stay at a name brand hotel do so as you will at least get what you paid for.

It was a beautiful property! Its an old home converted to a hotel. The pool is gorgeous and we had fun just walking around. Rooms were ok. No parking available so you may want to drop off luggage first before you go looking for parking. It is very close to the beach. You can walk there in two minutes. The sister building up the road had was beautiful too and it had the hot tub. You could use your key to go there too.It was walking distance to several coffee shops and places to eat which was nice so we did not have to move the car.Wed go back.

Horrible experience!!!!!The location was the only thing that kept it all together because it is in an excellent location in the center of everything. The staff were all super friendly and nice except for one man who was super rude and unprofessional. He acted if I wasn’t there asking him a question and said “I’m not here right now you’ll have to wait for the next employee” and continued to focus on his pc. He does not like Americans or tourist at all and he is not in the right field. Beds were super stiff and hard and floors and hard and cold. Pay the extra and stay at the Marriott or Hilton you won’t regret it.

No parking! Definitely did not expect that. The pool is nothing like the pictures on the Internet. The place looked dingy and old. The toilet did not work and the towels were dirty. We had an ugly/dirty view. When we open the curtain; all you could see is mold and rust. We will never stay here again nor will we let any family and friends stay here.

The bed linens have multiple stains, also the shower towels. The room odor was horrible and without any sign of cleanliness. And to finish, I found a roach in the bathroom. I do not recommend this “hotel” to anyone. Please do not spend your money here.

Do not stay here! Great location but management is horrible. Looks nothing like the pictures- 1 step above a hostel. Do NOT smoke - even when you see ashtrays in open areas - you will be fined. Read the fine print because you will not get a refund from these people.

I thought very hard and for many days about what to rate this hotel. I do NOT like to give bad reviews. The pictures listed for this place are much better than what the reality is. This hotel is unique and very Puerto Rican in culture and is ok for the price. However, we were sadly disappointed that the bar that was advertised was closed. This should be told to potential people booking. We booked through Expedia and was a selling point for us. The pool was nothing like the pictures and the vegetation pictured was much more lively than what was there in reality. The vegetation was all potted plants and most were on the verge of dying. I could see that the staff watered them every day but it was a lot of brown plants everywhere. The pool was only open 9am to 9pm. If you were out most of the day and came back and wanted a night swim, the pool was closed. Most of the staff were very friendly. I only encountered one front desk attendant whom was not so friendly. This place was literally a maze! The rooms were up and then down stairs and corridors! I felt it was unique and the place was very nicely decorated, however, getting your heavy luggage around was horrible. And the staff does NOT offer a helping hand whatsoever! My husband actually helped a couple women struggling to carry their luggage up some stairs while a male employe stood by and watched him help out. (This annoyed me to no end. Maybe it was not in his job description, but it makes me believe chivalry must not be a common theme for Puerto Rican men. I also struggled to get my luggage out while my husband went to go get the rental car and two men stood by and didn’t offer to help either.)I asked if my husband and I could sit at the bar and eat out supper and one of the employees did clean a portion of the bar and bring us cups and ice to accommodate us, as there was no where else to eat. I felt she was doing us a favor since the bar was officially closed. The room we booked was NOT at all like the room we received. We booked the king deluxe room. In the pictures listed on Expedia, it shows a small kitchenette, a small dining area in the room, a chair or a couch to sit etc. we had none of those amenities. Our bathroom looked like the one pictured. Our bed looked like the one pictured in one of the pictures, but our room only had a mini refrigerator. The “king” size bed is NOT a king. It is two twin beds pushed together. This is a nightmare because they kept separating every night and one of us ended up in the crack of the bed.All and all, the place is unique and has a unique Puerto Rican flair. But that is the extent to the “magic” of this place. The bar being closed was such a let down. The pool being closed early was a let down. Half the staff being great, and half the staff being sub par was a huge let down! Our room not being what we paid for, that is unacceptable! It was close to the beach! That is a positive! They have beach towels for guests to borrow, however, you have to sign them out and sign them back in. And you have to get them very very early in the morning or they run out.

Such a beautiful unique boutique hotel! Would absolutely stay here again. The staff was so accommodating to our group of 4, the pool was a life saver to escape the heat of the day, the location was perfect and we could walk everywhere we needed to go and the beach is so close it was just perfect for our group in all aspects. The rooms were unique with comfortable beds and great AC. We found street parking near the hotel, so it wasn’t an issue. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and night life. Definitely a great way to wrap up a week of traveling around Puerto Rico.
