Assaha Hotel in Baabda

Absolutely disgusting service.I booked the royal suite (biggest room1.5 weeks in advance via an online website Agoda and received confirmation email and check in details. I drove 1.5 hours in the heat to head to the hotel. Got there just before check in and was dealing with a worker called Nancy. Upon arrival she advised my booking wasn’t on the system and they had to search my name to find the booking, she then said the room is unavailable due to “Air con not working”. She tried to down sell me smaller rooms which I did not want as we were a big group and wanted a large suite. 1 of the workers without knowing advised us the room was occupied by other people so I was lied too. Nancy would not acknowledge their error and lack of communication. Before leaving I was advised the booking willBe cancelled without any fees as it was not my fault. I then receive an email fromAgoda advising the hotel contacted them and advised them I did not show and therefore I will be charged. It’s a massive headache and has been really stressful. Staff are not helpful when something goes wrong even though it’s their error. Nancy kept ignoring our questions and tried to downplay saying “I don’t wanna give you a room where the air con is not working to review a 1 star review” even thou I had booked this Over a week in advance. I will never recommend this hotel. The hotel Resturant was bad too, waiters were rude, it was hot and food was not good. I stayed at Lancaster plaza in the Rouche which was absolutely beautiful and amazing service for the same price

The Hotel has an amazing architecture, an authentic vintage Lebanese decorative pieces are all over the place, from lanterns to cooking tools.. it truly has a unique magical ambience.. however the food and service definitely need a great deal of improvement!! .. evenings in the outdoor seating are the best ones for family and friends gatherings

The staff are nice but not all of them , there response to answers is a bit slow . The rooms are great but can get better and reach perfection . Wifi is fine , its price for a night is fine . Some stuff there doesnt work , some stuff need to be renewed . Otherwise , it was good for a business trip.

Assaha Lebanon Branches are good but Qatar Branch is very very bad because Qatar Branch manager and his wife are a bad person. Always bad behavior with staffs and dont give good food for staffs in Qatar Branch.

Very poor service. the food at the breakfast buffet was either cold or expired, the room key burned out daily, and the staff was very rude at the front desk. The room was nice as was the view but the overall experience within 3 weeks was frustrating and not as expected from professionals. Disappointed.

Very amiable atmosphere, with very good prices. The food was very pleasant, and the rooms and facilities were outstanding- beds were very comfortable, space was small, but the decoration not only in the room, but throughout the hotel, made up for it.The staff were quite friendly and professional.I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to all my friends.

Ive spent two nights.The service was very good and the room was so comfortable.Though its 4 stars hotel the cost is not too much.The breakfast was good, healthy and diverse.

Very nice hotel and excellent service

Hotel was very nice. Cleaning ladies were very good at keeping the rooms very clean. My issue was when I decided to go the their gym to workout. I was not allowed to take my I Pod with me. And the last straw was when I asked to use their bathroom, the women working there were very rude, totally ignored me when I wanted to use their bathroom. I then said, you do not have washrooms? Finally a women who was going to the gym also showed me where the washrooms were. The women who worked there were not nice, they were rude, ignorant towards me. And they were very snobbish. I told my husband, we are never going there again. I was polite to them, showed them respect, but the women workers did not show respect in return. Never ever again.

Amazing old fasion hotel

Hotel has beautiful architecture. But that where it ends. It probably the worst customer service I have experienced. We stayed for two night, we could never find juice at breakfast. The room power switch kept tripping.I think if they improve the customer service this will become a great hotel.

Very clean tidy faculties. Also excellent.facilities. Staff were.really.helpful too.

Restaurant, cafe, snack, small museum, gift shop, ballrooms, and hotel with international rooms designs, all of that in one place and just few kilometers away from Beirut airport.Its a nice clean cozy luxurious place in which you can combine the old-traditional Lebanese way of living (the building, dicoration, colors, rooms design, food, drink, Turkish/Moroccan bath, hospitalitywith the current modern life (the hotel and restaurants services, pool, gym, spa).The prices are a little bit high since it is a 5 stars place.They have free WiFi everywhere and valet parking.
