Asian Central Gawler in Gawler

Didnt even get to try the food, was placed on hold and forgotten about for over 10 minutes. Had to ring them back. I work in this industry and thats a 10000% not even remotely close to being acceptable. Will take my business elsewhere.

Favourite Asian food out North, great service, prices and food .

Food is always excellent, great portions, well seasoned.

Disappointed with the restaurant. We are lovers of good Asian food. This restaurant delivered the opposite. Satay chicken was delivered with boiled chicken and vegetables in a watery sauce that had known relationship to satay. Tasted like slightly sweet corn flour. Other 2 dishes reached the same level. Left a lot of the food??? .Food matches the bland decor.

Its always such experience of beautiful food, friendly service,both dine in or takeaway. Go once and youll definitely be back.

Welcoming customer service, family friendly environment and surprisingly vegan friendly choices.Smelt good upon entering so I was expecting good outcomes. Not sure if its an Adelaide thing but good to see theyre keeping the Vietnam custom alive by using the drip. Tastes authentic too.Id say very affordable for a nice meal.

Amazing, from the first phone call to order, altered us to a small wait, customer service on pick up great. Food was next level, beautiful fresh and yum!

Absolutely useless. Currently sitting here waiting 35 minutes to even be asked if we want drinks.... went to the bar to order food and was told to sit back down to be served .... still waiting 🤬

Extremely disappointing! Pricing increase, portions were TINY! Well overpriced for very, very average food. Would not return or recommend.

Dining in seemed great but when I ordered take away I got ripped off. Crocodile had about a teaspoon of meat the rest sauce and veg. Beef with black bean sauce was like water instead of creamy. Wont be ordering take away again. I called to complain and the staff were disputing my complaint that the watery sauce was my fault for getting take away. Apparently it goes watery if you dont consume it within 20 minutes. Lame excuse. And the Fried rice is made from frozen veg. I asked for shrimp in my Fried rice and they just put 3 large prawns on top. I felt ripped off and was upset that staff disputed my complaint.

Really nice food.We were disappointed that after spending $85 that a bag a prawn chips wasnt included complimentary. These were an additional $4!

Had a feed there Saturday night (20of us the staff were flat out and done an amazing job,food was fabulous, definitely can recommend this place for a feed will definitely be going back....

Good old fashioned Chinese restaurant. Excellent value, great service and great menu.Only came here as we were recommended and we weren’t disappointed.

Wouldnt recommend unless you want them to all of a sudden increase the prices after you order your meal. Then when you call them out on, get told that the menu is one and a half years old. Not my problem, update your prices on your menu not just on POS.

Met up with some friends from long ago. Meal was a banquet. Nice selection of dishes.

Pros-Polite & friendly staff. Cons-Slow service, too many vegetables & not enough meat, fried rice was more like steamed rice, very small servings went away hungry, We had a banquet. Overpriced in my opinion. I prefer Bamboo Hut in Gawler or House Of The Red Dragon in Munno Para.

Had lunch here today, a group of eight. We shared some entrees and then each of us had a main. Delicious entrees. My favourite was the spring roll. We had satay chicken, dim sims, steamed and fried and Thai fish cakes. Wasn’t mad on the fish cakes but all the others were Yummie.Mains consisted of Mongolian beef, squid with church sauce, satay prawn, sweet and sour pork and Singapore noodles. We also shared some chicken fried rice.Opinions were:Mongolian beef, delicious. Medium heat was a little too hot. He’s going to try mild next time.Satay prawn a bit bland but beautiful fresh prawns and veg.Singapore noodle, delicious.Sweet and sour pork, Yummie.Not sure about the squid.Fried rice very tasty.Corkage is $3.50 per person. That turned out to be quite reasonable as we opened three bottles of our own wine.I look forward to returning and ordering a selection of just entrees between my husband and myself. The banquet also looked tempting.Service was perfect. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Meals were delivered very quickly despite the restaurant being reasonably busy.You must try the Vietnamese coffee!

We are from Melbourne and love Thai.Not knowing anything about what restaurants are the best in Gawler, we just out of luck picked this one.Absolutely beautiful food!! Wonderful customer service, very prompt and well priced!Great place!

Food is ALWAYS incredible, hot, tasty and brimmed to the top of the plate/container. Staff are really friendly and will always do what’s best for the customer. We’ve dined in and had take away and each meal has been fantastic. Recommend booking for dinners because they are always super busy - which is great

Meal was well done and service was good as well the only thing I can complain about is I had asked a waitress for another drink as I had finished my first one a little quicker than planned but had to ask a 2nd one as the 1st one must of forgotten which I can understand to a point considering they were quite busy nonetheless It was enjoyable and I recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to eat out at

Highly recommend the Creamy garlic chicken. Every time we go there it is the first meal we order. Fantastic service, awesome meals and has a good vibe to the joint.

Yesterday my partner, son and I came in just before lunch service was finished. The lady who greeted us was super polite and she sat us down, next to the fish tank. We were satisfied with our dishes and my son loved his steam rice! We were incredibly happy with our service and will definitely return our next trip to Gawler!

The staff were wonderful but the salt and pepper tofu had extremely thick batter and was a bit flavourless, and the fried rice seemed to use frozen veg from a packet. Also the spring rolls were good but served with a ketchup-y sauce rather than sweet chilli.

Asian Central is my favourite restaurant. They have a great range of cuisines, good service, clean facilities. Have never had a bad meal from there.

Asian Central is our familys favourite restaurant. Its a family owned restaurant, and Maria always makes us feel special, and the staff are always friendly professional. We regularly have international visitors who always ask to go back to Asian Central for dinners as well. Food is always delicious, and with great portion sizes, we have some to take home for lunch the next day.

Stopped in here for a quick work lunch, and it was so delicious. Fresh, great flavours, generous serve and service was great. Will definitely come back. Thanks so much

Went for the first time. Absolutely fabulous food. Lovely staff. My advice would be to book a table, it was absolutely full. Tried black bean kangaroo for the first time, gorgeous!

Lots of choices for asian food in gawler .I think asian central has the edge on the rest when it comes to taste...fair priced.big serves . freindly staff.Would go back again

Been here several times with friends and it never fails to make the grade.Awesome fresh food, great service and always more than we can eat.Cannot fail to say if your thinking of heading here for a meal, then do it, you wont be disappointed.

The food here was very yummy, the beef In the pho was so soft and delishes. Presentation of the dishes were amazing. The inside of the restaurant looks way better then the outside.

Had the Asian Central Roast Duck and the Chinese special fried rice. Food was very quick and the duck was excellent.

I had sweet and sour pork which was decent, green curry chicken is not really green curry but it was okay too. I ordered two serves of plain rice which came in a very small portion.Spring rolls were very thin with minimal filling - bits of carrots, a string of noodle and tiny particle of crab and chicken (allegedly - because I couldnt see or taste it).The real deal breaker was the "Salt and Pepper Squid" which was very old, paper thin slices of squid covered in batter (way more batter than squidwhich had no flavour. I brought this to the attention of the cashier but all she did was argue the point and insinuate that I didnt know what squid should look like. It felt quite inappropriate. I would not have bothered writing a negative review if not for that.Overall I wont be coming back and I do hope the cheeky cashier tastes decent squid some day...
