Asian Buffet in Kingsville

Mostly fresh food. Great service from the start until almost the end. Overall, it was a great experience.

Better than what I expected for Kingsville. Enjoyed it.

Food is always good. The dining area is large, and the food is always ready.

Worst food ever. I would never come back to this place even if it was the last place that offered food. Stay away.

Decent food. All their meat dishes were on the sweet side but were ok. Egg rolls are the best Ive found in a buffet setting. All in all the food was pretty good. We will come again.

I went for the first time. It was pretty good for what it was. The sign at the door could be updated. It still says dinner is 9.99 when its actually 11.99. No biggie but still....I cant say it was great or amazing but I havent any complaints either.

Staff was not real friendly the food that was out had been sitting for a while ( it was cold and rubbery). They were starting to put fresh food out but they were putting the old food in with it. The food that was hot was great. It took a while for them to clear the old plates.

That Asian buffet you can get a number of different items as much as you want for a set price. Sometimes however the staff is a little standoffish for example I burned my hand on the pot of hot tea and a waitress just stood there and saw the tea spill all over the table and did nothing. That being said I do like their food and I love their egg drop soup and it is all very reasonably priced and there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

Buffet was hot and fresh. Ive been there a few times and the food and service is always good!

Food was a little too salty, I know Asian food is a little on the salty side but it was a but much that evening for dinner. Eggs rolls were super hard, and staff was not friendly

We love Buffett and had supper this time. They ran out of crab sushi but the lady got some for my son. Thats what he loves. Some noodles looked like they been there a while but my son still liked thise

Maybe its timing, but this is the the second time that we dined here and it wasnt busy when we went in, but was busy when we left. Lol Im surprised that they were open during this difficult time. Be that as it may, the variety of food and dessert was good.

You this place gets a bad rap, for me this place is really good. I grew up here in this town and moved to the valley and this place doesnt compare to asian restaurants in the valley. Food is really really good

The staff is nice, but the food is not so great it needs more flavor and to be prepped better. My daughter didnt eat, she just sat with us and they were charging for her. So we needed to pay for her and got a to go plate, which we threw away.

Im giving it 3. Most of the food was good, but sushi was sitting for too long. The hostess wasnt very attentive, she also sat an obnoxious group of women on the booth adjacent to me which was not pleasant..whilst every other table was at a comfortable distance from the next.

Great place for yummy food with a great clean environment that is especially peaceful with this beautiful fountain with love fish in it. I have no complaints, food tasted great and at a great price

Food was great, but I drink water and the water tastes like soap. Its not the first time. They need to work on that. Otherwise all is good.

Great food, fantastic service. A little empty, but considering the late hour there was plenty of people there. The buffet was well stocked and had a very good variety of foods and desserts.

During a transportation for work me and my partner stopped here to eat. The outside isnt that eye appealing but the inside is very nice. For the most part their food is okay we showed up around 5 p.m. . They did have a lot of food that look fresh for being slow. So it was a good time eating there. The workers there were attentive although it was slow. So their service was good.

Food was COLD !!!!!!Mentioned this to the manager and he just smiled and walked off. I mentioned it to our server and asked if they were going to put some fresh food out. She talked to the cook and he came bnb out to stir the food. VERY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED.

Asian Buffet is an average establishment. Have a few dishes that are outstanding. Problem is their consistency. When they are on...their beef and broccoli cant be beat.Best egg drop soup in town as well when they are on. Problem is they are so hit and miss.Great variety. My boys love it, so we frequently eat here.Not the best, but suits us just fine. Something for all of us there.

Good price for the lunch buffet. In total I spent $7.85 for lunch, it might be more if you get a soda. All in all the food wasnt bad some things were a bit over salted but not to where it was inedible.

I went here a while back and the food was ok. I had been using a credit card for the past year to work on my credit and forgot it at home, so I used my debit card to pay this time. I got faulty charges all over the kingsville/corpus area the very next day. This happened to be my only purchase from that card in an entire year. I’ll let that speak for itself.

The outside building wasnt impressive when I saw it... but its extreamly nice inside. There was a lot of food to select from and it was delicious, dont let the outside fool you its a fantastic place to eat!!

A bit pricey at $9.49 for Saturday lunch. Good variety. Food was hot and tasty. Service is good. Wife is very picky, but she liked it... that alone says a lot to me. 😁

Generally good. Last time we went they started pulling the food off 30 minutes before scheduled closing time. Waitress was very slow to pick up used plates and refilling drinks.

I usually have a great experience and the food is always great and fresh ....Just this time there was a roach in my soup when i sat down..... i showed the manager very quietly to not draw attention.... she looked at me ugly until I left

Great place! The food is fresh, the staff is very friendly. Everything I ate was very delicious. I would say the egg rolls were the best on the buffet. I ate 4.. next time Im in town, this will be the spot!

Overall a good place to eat. I give it 3 stars due to the egg rolls werent fresh. The sushi I was really craving tasted horrible and spoiled or sour as soon as I put it in my mouth. And for some reason the banana pudding has animal crackers with a whole lot of banana rather than pudding. Bathroom was rather clean just not a fan of seeing all the cleaning products in plain sight...hazard for kids in my opinion.

The food is exactly what I expect and crave at times ( usually go once a weekHowever I am disappointed in the servers... They got my drink order wrong, not bad in itself, however when I lifted my hand and looked to the servers to get someones attention, I saw both with their phones out not even glancing at the tables... This is unacceptable... When you are being a server your phone should never be seen by guests. It was worse because it was both I might have been okay with one since I would have gotten the service required.

Poor Sanitation (not using any spray to wipe the table,floors are slippery on the counter food area,carpet looks dirty, ceiling and air vents dirty look like no maintenance done..broken seats with ductape covering the holes. Food not that good.

This was the worst food I have ever encountered at a Chinese buffet. The staff is extremely rude. The food was literally left from lunch when we arrived for the dinner buffet. The sushi smelled sour and after my son ate 1 bite he was immediately ill and we had to leave. I was not going to pay full buffet price since we did not eat it. They couldnt care less about serving spoiled food to their customers as when told, they did not make any attempt to fix the situation. When I let them know I planned on calling health department they only charged for drinks. Avoid this place it is food poisoning waiting to happen.

Decent Asian restaurant. As far as the quality is concerned, I would say it taste very good. I grade this restaurant 4 stars because on the Japanese food section. Everyone I visited this place, they do not keep a replacement of the food. Meaning, almost empty with few left that other customer will not eat.

Good food, waitresses in bad mood, price O.K.The food was good for an Asian restaurant in a town this small. The waitresses (most of themwere in a bad mood. Perhaps they do not like working on Sundays or the language barrier. There was a young customer accompanied by two older persons. His loud voice and wording gave us the impression that he was born and raised in a harlot house. He had no regard for the families and kids that were around him. I felt compelled to warn him about calling the police on him if he did not stop his obscenities, but decided not to, in order to avoid a confrontation. If you want to eat good tasting sea food, and avoid waiting for a table in a hot room, do not go to Kings Inn in Riviera. Come to this place in Kingsville that is about 15 minutes away from Riviera.

The food was ok some what good, staff waitresses are nice friendly. But the old lady in the food section wow has some attitude problem. Over all price is fair$$. Enjoy eating.

This is a decent place to eat. The price is not bad and theres quite a few things to choose from. Good ambience as well. My only problem was the flies. Flies on the food, flying around the restaurant, and flying around your food. I did not enjoy having to swat flies while eating.

Ive been there for lunch and dinner. Both were very good. I would not recommend going for a late dinner. We recently went in about 8pm and the food was old and dried out. The restrooms could stand a good cleaning.

Nice quiet evening dinner. Food and service was on point. Mongolian Bar was great. Prices are about average for variety and service. Ambience was just right.Overall dining experience great!

The food is good and they have a pretty diverse selection. At dinnertime and on the weekends they have steaks, which are decent. This place is very consistent and you know what youre going to get. So, if you want some good Chinese food for a decent price, this is a good place to go.

It was just OK...I would not go back. Too much oil/grease in some dishes. Presentation and variety not bad. Pot stickers overdone/tough....worst Ive seen...salmon too salty and overcooked. Broccoli in beef dish, though bright green and suggesting al dente, was oddly mushy, so much so I spit it out...and I like broccoli. Is this the only Asian place in town?

Went for the sushi bar around 715 pm not much of a selection the only ingredients was cucumber that artificial crab meat cream cheese and avacado on 5 of the 7 rolls and the avacado on top of the rolls were getting black did not look appetizing. I had the mongolian grill it was okay the dude that was cooking is very polite.

Ive eaten in dozens of Chinese buffets all over the country. Asian Buffet is in the top 2 or 3. The egg drop soup, egg rolls, seafood salad and crispy chicken were perfection. All the other selections I made were very good. Hot foods were hot. Cold foods were cold. Everything tasted very fresh. Service was very good.
