Ashtabula Historic House in Anderson
Description
Privilege
It was so cool inside and had a lot to look at!! For sure a great place to visit. Only $10 per adult and $5 for kids.
MoreI visited with my three children for a local field trip. Powell gave us an informative tour of this two hundred-year-old home. I would recommend anyone visit for a vivid impression of life before many of the conveniences we have today.

Beautiful place to visit & love all the history & how it ties to other parts of SC.
MoreGreat place with good tour guides and some of the oldest stuff around... Pre-1800s stuff is so rare!
MoreAmazing history going back to 1790 on this historic site! The houses, and so many antique and historical items within take you back in time. Fantastic knowledgeable staff and volunteers top it all off! Definitely visit this antibellum gem in South Carolina!
MoreFun
A very nicely restored Antebellum plantation house in South Carolina is well worth the visit. I had an opportunity to visit the house when it was closed to the public and photograph it. I was in photo Nirvana. I am not certain of the photo policy; I am thinking it is not allowed.
MoreAuthentic 1820 home in good repair. Visit on mild day, upstairs can be hot.
It was a very informative visit. There was a new young docent giving the tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional.
MoreI must visit for travelers and locals & students. Rich History, Great architecture.
MoreOver all a great place to come and visit! Informative!
