Ashry Toky in Aswan

En plus dêtre des escrocs et des voleurs (on a payé plus cher que ce que lon pensait à la base... Il nous on rajouté les 25% de pourboire déjà inclus dans le menu...Il ne sont pas sympathiques du tout et ne veulent rien savoir. le prix est 3 à 4 fois supérieur que la moyen que nous avons pu trouver (On a du payer 360LE pour 2 plats). 1h dattente pour avoir avoir les plats. A fuir !

Sur le menu, cest écrit que les 25% de pourboires sont déjà ajouté au prix des plats (qui sont dailleurs plus élevé que sur le menu écrit en arabe). On avait demandé avant de commander si cétait déjà inclus et ils avaient dit oui....Sur la note, ils ont ajouté 25% en plus.... Après débat, nous sommes arrivés à rien de concluant.Le repas est donc revenus cher.A part ça, le repas était très bon et le lieu et sympa.

We went here for our diner. Only thing I liked is the place has a beautiful view, but the food is average. We ordered rice, chicken fry, and fish curry. The food arrived very late, and we had to wait for almost half an hour.Smoking of hukkah is allowed here, which can be unpleasant and suffocating. The service and food could be better. There are a couple of cats around that were just roaming around our table, which made eating food difficult. Total bill was 300EGP which is little over the usual price.

Great rooftop spot right by the Nile river with great food amd welcomimg staff.

Hugely overpriced for the terrible food you get. My partner and I ate lunch here and we both ordered the chicken grill. When it arrived after 50 minutes it looks fabulous (almost worth the wait). However, when we cut into the chicken it was raw and blood poured out of it. When I told the waiter he simply said “ok so will cook it more”. I said not to bother because seeing blood pour out of my meal made me feel slightly ill. He insisted and then made us pay full price for a meal we could barley eat. At a total cost of 280LE for both of us it was a total rip off and I would defiantly not recommend this place. Walk for 1 minute and go to the Bob Marley guest house and terrace instead.

Food is bellow average and massively overpriced for what it is.About 3x overpriced.Waiting time for a dish was about 1 hour , salad wasn’t fresh.

Best place to eat on the island. Service a little bit long but nice staff, beautiful view and very good food.

Completely unfriendly, aggressive, crooking staff. So much nice places and people in Elephantine, avoid this one at all price.

Good food, nice servers, cool location. Difficult to find, especially in the dark as it is in a cluttered side street. The people in the village are very helpful when asked and not pushy like everywhere else.

Nice place with nice views

No apparent vegan options on the menu, but ask the chef for vegetarian food and he will prepare a very good kushari-like dish. Since there are so few good vegan options in Aswan, its worth a visit if you are close by.

Nice service and beautiful view, but the food is average and about 3x the price it should be. Dinner for two was a shocking 350 LE. I could get a massive feast for foue people for that price in an amazing restaurant in Cairo.

No value for money... Very small portions and regular food. Nothing special.

Situé sur lîle Elephantine au bord du nil, on a déguster des jus de fruit frais sur leur toit. Emplacement idéal, vraiment très agréable du coup on est revenu le soir manger. Très bon! Un petit coin de paradis loin du vacarme de la ville!

Best food we had in egypt. In middle of ramadan lowseason we had it to ourselves but was still a beautiful location on edge of the Nile, shaded and sunny areas, and perfectly spiced fish tagine with spicy potatoes, rice, salad and tahini (140egpwith nice lemonmint drink too. Lovely staff let us off our unwieldy change, but it was so good we came back twice.
