Asha's Culture Kitchen in Punta Gorda

After the hassle of getting to the location, only to find out it had closed down.

Great food with a funky vibe! We love to bring visitors from the US for at least 1 meal when they visit...

I ate at Ashas for dinner twice while in Belize and had amazing meals. Definitely would recommend trying the conche!

The food here is solid, the staff are kind and the views are great. If you order food or drinks you can swim off of their pier. I ate here three times in the 10 days I was in PG

Mains were good, chocolate sundae desert was excellent.Guy behind bar was grumpy but owners were lovely and very attentive.

Beautiful and clean cultural restaurant. Dining on a verandah built over the sea and hearing the sea waves crash under you is so relaxing and contribute to a soothing dining experience! Food is prepared quickly and tastes delicious. This is my go to restaurant in Punta Gorda Town!

I enjoyed quite a few meals at Ashas and even tried the lionfish and enjoyed it. Definately one of my fave food spots while I was in the Punta Gorda area.

Loved this place, because of their location with access to the water and because they make an effort to stop the lionfish from taking over the Caribbean waters by putting them on their menu. Also, the menu on the wall with boxes checked for the items that were available.

The place is quiet with beautiful sea views, the traditional Belizean food they serve is delicious, affordable and authentic.

If in Punta Gorda you have to check out this place. Asha the owner and chef is a true culinary master and a great conversationalist to boot. We were staying at the nearby Copal Tree Lodge (formerly Belcampoand grew a bit tired of the menu...so we took a cab into town on a Saturday night to experience this little rustic place on the water. The surroundings may have been rustic but the food was top notch. I asked Asha to prepare us a seafood extravaganza of his choosing and he did not disappoint. Our party of 3 ate snapper, shrimp and conch (and other fishprepared in a myriad of different ways with coconut rice and plantains. We unfortunately couldnt finish all the food. When all was said and done the bill was only $80 US! A memorable night. Thanks Asha!!

I got the vegetarian plate and watermelon juice. It was good but small portions for the price.

I enjoyed the curry conchs and vegetable rice. The location is awesome overlooking the seà. We enjoyed sitting taking in the view and watching the birds. Fantastic

Very cool spot right on the water. Had the red snapper fillet and a fish burger. The portions were big and the food was delicious. Fast service as well

Healthy and fresh dishes served here in a lovely, seaside location. Love how this restaurant is tucked away out of downtown on the ocean side. The vibe here is funky, fun, and vibrant. The food is awesome!!!

Asha is the man. Serves great seafood, with a menu based on what is fresh, often what has been caught that day. Spent many hours drinking Belikin here during my time in PG.

I had the worst experience there with my husband, I DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND IT, we were treated with racism( i have never been treated like that by the OWNER just because im latin and my husband didnt speak english well, the OWNER didnt want to give not a even minute to us for explain the dishes and to make the order while the other tourists werent treated like that.. IT SUCKS!!!!
