As 7 Maravilhas - Gastropub in Porto, Portugal
Fantastic food and really nice atmosphere. We ate here multiple times in 2017 and loved everything on the menu!
Different. Snack lunch ok. Beers €7 a pint. A cheaper pint is available
Stumbled upon this gem as we were winding through the back streets looking for a nice place to get a beer and a bite to eat! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the next hour or so! Lots of Belgium as well as local beer choices and great food choices! The Goulash (pork)with peppers in a rich wine sauce was amazing!(sm serving)makes a nice before dinner snack!
Good bar snacks, nice ambience and variety of beers. Would have preferred more Portuguese options as a tourist, but international options looked good and I understand the concept. Good local wines.
Interesting and incredibly tasty food in great company. Your taste buds will travel the world while the owner will make you feel at home. Be sure to try their Hausbier.
Fantastic selection of Portuguese beer served by friendly and passionate people. We were unsure about the broad selection of cuisines but everything we ordered was very delicious and unique.
An amazing evening was spent in this authentic gem of a restaurant. The staff were very welcoming, professional and delightful and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definalty be going again before I leave this lovely City and many thanks to Thomas the Manager.
Absolutely lovely cafe- attentive multilingual staff, excellent food, and some fantastic beers both on tap and in bottles. Many vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked on the menu, including the spanakoffafle (sp?which is a spanakopita that has been waffled- definitely unique!
Amazing food and atmosphere. But the base, the soul of the place is the people who work there. The ones in the kitchen, the others who are running around you to give the best service with an honest smile. A true place, with its own miracles. Wonderful and lovely dishes, with huge variety of drinks. Thanks for the experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here, lots of great options for meat eaters and vegetarians! The calzone is fantastic and the currywurst was delicious. The atmosphere is perfect and relaxing and the waiters were excellent. Get the lychee shaved ice, its really refreshing! Also if you are going for supper make a reservation, there are only 7 tables. We are so glad we called in advance because they kept turning people away. They do have an area in the back where you can sit and have a drink to wait for a table to free up. Might be worth it since they turned a few away when there was only one couple waiting on a table and quite of few of us were almost finished eating. Go here if you can!!
Whatever you order it will be delicious. I enjoyed every single bite of the chicken adobo I ordered.I even asked for some bread to enjoy the delicious sauce it came with.Small place with local craft beers and very well spiced dishes with a fast and super friendly service. One of the best places is at the end of the place, close to the kitchen. It will be a joy for your sense of smell.
Great service, great food and great beers. We had the chicken wings, padron peppers and currywurzt
Our favorite place from Porto!Great atmosphere, great food and a great wide variety of craft beers.Super friendly attention.Highly recommended!
Great tunes, hospitable staff and wonderful beers and snacks. Recommended by a friend who was visiting a year ago and the place did not disappoint. The perfect place to relax after a walk in the city.
Paulaner and Padron Peppers. This place is a great, laid-back vibe.
Really cool place with a great selection of beers. Definitely visit.
Great variety of Portuguese craft beers. The food menu also pairs very well with beer - currywurst was delicious.
Amazing food, super friendly staff, authentic atmosphere and an immense craft beer choice.Absolutely worth to stop by!
Very good and spécial the grilled porc sandwich, and not expensive at all
Great experience. A teeny tiny spot in a backstreet. Wonderful little tapas and a wide choice of beer. The staff is nice and fast.
Wonderful place with a great beer selection, loved the atmosphere. Staff is relaxed but attentive and the music is fine. We visted in June around the time of Sao Joao.
Very different, varied and nice menu. Great beers and hosts are really nice. Highly recommend this place! After being treated badly by their neighbors we decided to come here. Cosy place with few tables and good food!Great option for Vegetarians!
I really liked this place. They have worked hard in a menu that is not just the typical things, it goes further so you have a variety of food to choose and combine. Great selection of beers, drinks a little bit pricey but worth the money. Strongly recommended.
The food was great and the staff also! They have a very big selection of beers, but they are expensive around 7€ a bottle.I really like everything we tasted. They have a variety of food from many different countries, it was great!
Great selection of food, excellent vegan and vegetarian food. Some local dishes, mostly from all over the world. Service was friendly and quick. Not a lot of tables, so make sure you make a reservation or get there early
The food was so good we ate here twice during our 4 day trip! But we got lucky getting a table each time we walked in, so keep in mind they do fill up during popular times. Love the quirky decor and super friendly service. Lots of vegetarian options for me, all super delicious even for my meat-eating husband, and even the vegan chocolate cake was incredible (and Im very skeptical about these kinds of things).
We walked past this place several times before knowing it was a restaurant- and so glad we finally noticed it. Dropped in for a drink but couldn’t get a table, so booked for the next night. Very friendly staff, varied tapas style menu with huge range of whisky and beer, and vintage decor to keep you guessing. Shame we won’t get to visit again before we go home.
By the end of september, on a warm saturday evening, we had the best time over there. The selection of craft beers and whiskies is amazing and the food is also very good (and has tastefull vegetarian/vegan options). The place itself is so nice and cosy and the owners will definitely try to make you feel even more confortable. Huge thanks to the owners for that awesome night.TLDR: If youre in Porto and like beers, liquors and food, make sure to check this place
Ambiance, service, food, drink something not to be missed on a trip to Porto. Very quirky and a menu that has wonderful food and an immense range of craft beers, wines, whiskeys, brandys, gins................. The staffs knowledge equally matches the vast menu and the only downside was we just never had enough days to revisit
A very characteristic design, a long list of good craft beers and very friendly staff. The only flaw is the food. Despite the menu was filled with original ideas, 3 out of 4 of the plates we ordered were not good and very small in size, despite costing like an actual meal considering Porto prices.
Such tasty food and a great variety on offer. The sardine butter was so good I wanted a second portion! Lovely space, excellent music, very friendly staff. A must.Bryan
We encountered this nice place by coincidence. The food was original, fresh and very tasty. The kids loved. Lots of vegetarian possibilities. Cool!!! We recommend.
Very nice place to eat, friendly staff and good food. Beer was a little expensive, but a lot of choice. We really loved the desserts.
Top!! Great diversity of beer. Nice food. Thanks
Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing staff. All around great night. The place is very cosy, aspire a very relaxed atmosphere. Would for sure recommend this to everyone looking for a great meal at a fair price!
Nice International food. Well prepared. I found a bit expensive 5 euros for a 40ml beer. Although artisan and very good, it was still quite expensive for being on tap. The charcuterie tier could do with better quality cured meats. Overall good experience. Will recommend and go back
Such a lovely pub. Good selection of local beers and wines. Also the owners are very nice. Good for a small snack and a nice drink.
Really outstanding food in a family-run restaurant with great atmosphere. Veggie- and kid-friendly while still being cool. Everyones favorite restaurant of the trip!
The service and interior was very nice. We had the vegetarian tower which was okay but we would have liked a bit more vegetables on it. Would go here again and try the other dishes because it is such a cute place :)
Delicious food from start to end, staff is super friendly!! Top address and a real must when you visit Porto. Very Very Very recommended!! Best to make a reservation though!! ☺️
Awesome staff! Great beer! Good food! This became our home away from home, started our nights and finished our nights here. I loved working my way through the Portuguese craft beer (Ill finish the list off another time)A diverse range of food, your bound to find something you love.
A must visit in Porto. Very good food inspired by the cuisines from across the world in a wonderful setting. Choose from an amazing selection of craft beers and whiskeys. And everything gets topped by an outstandingly friendly staff.
Lovely place with a HUGE selection of craft beers! Knowledgeable service to guide you. All the food that we tried was great! We spent several hours there and as we left, we almost went right back :-)
You gotta try this place. Eating here is an experience; the food, the drinks, the staff, the interior decor are all wonderful. This place has a great beer selection and eclectic food options.
Affordable price , I got two tapas and a (very goodPorto Wine for 11€ ! I dont recommend this if you want a full gastronomical experience, but to share a nice craft beer (they have many choicesand some food with it it is perfectThe place is super cozy and the staff is nice! Im Very happy I went there !!
Huge Portuguese beer selection and friendly service. Spanned many varieties and nearly all were "craft" breweries. Had a PS Equinox IPA which was a malty English-style IPA. Tried a Smokin Juniper from Mean Sardine too. Did not eat as kitchen was closed until 8:30 pm.
Great food, though reservations are definitely required as the place is tiny and very popular. Portions might be too small for some people but were perfect for us. Prices are affordable and fair.
Superb , stumbled upon it and wish we had found it earlier in the evening. Would have visited again but closed on monday.Selection of portugese craft beers excellent, and even Brewdog ipa on tap. Excellent host.Cant drink wine every night!
I can only give a 4 star review because my travel companion and I were not able to eat here as they were completely booked for hours in advance. They did however have a more casual area with couches where we sat for snacks and beer. The restaurant was very chill, great atmosphere and the staff was really cool. They have an awesome beer selection and the food coming out of the kitchen smelled amazing. I can definitely recommend.
Weve bumped to this gem by a mere accident and we fell in love with it the moment we sit in and the waiter (and owner as wellcame all smiling. He was an incredibly fine and easy going German guy with delightful and genuine love for what he is doing. Everywhere, there was a presence of palpably natural attention dedicated to every single detail of the restaurant and food. If Id return to Porto, Id surely return to As 7 Maravilhas as well.
