Árvore do Mundo - Vegan restaurant in Porto, Portugal
Loved this place and loved delicious veggie food! 🌱
Best restaurant expierience in Porto, you get a full Menu for just 10€. Really good vegan food, lovely atmosphere. You have to go here!
Amazing dishes, cute location and best Price-Performance Ratio ☝🏻 we enjoyed the lunch menu and were very happy. Also very friendly people!
Very cozy place! Staff was super nice and we really enjoyed the food. We had the cheeseboard for starters, lasagna for the main course and salame de chocolate and a cake for dessert.
We had a wonderful evening with great food and enjoyed the atmosphere of the place tonight. Thanks a lot for this. The tip box is a bit too discreet. After we left, we realised that it seemed that we didnt leave a tip. We definely recommend you. Best regards, Thu and Mark
The place was recommended to us and it lived up to the recommendation.A small place with indoor and outdoor seating. Beautifully decorated, with a warm and friendly staff. But what really makes the place worth a try is the delicious food. I had the soup menu included a starter, soup, salad and two pastries which are really two appetizers, all 7euros. There was more than enough food.My husband has the lunch menu which included starter, soup, salad and a main dish which was a vegetable lasagna. OMG that the lasagna delicious and the price for this was 10euro. So much delicious food, beautifully presented.Mark this as a place to visit. You will not be disappointed!!!
So great in every way; food - beautifully presented and so tasty, warm and friendly staff, great service, lovely environment. Instant favorite!
I am a total carnivore, and I loved this restaurant! I ate here 3-4 times while I was in Porto last month. Their food is beautiful, prepared with love and with an eye for presentation. The staff is delightful and the value is excellent. Couldnt ask for anything more!
Some of the staff were really nice, one was very tired which i understand and don t mind to much. Starters were not tasty, the bread sausage was really good and the dessert was meh, very fair prices
Genuine vegan place. Fresh food well flavored and nicely presented. Staff very engaged about the food and friendly. Good value for money.
Fantastic little restaurant well located in the heart of the city. The homemade vegan food was truly delicious and very reasonably priced. A great address for vegan or vegetarian palates.
"vegan" restaurant that is not pet friendly. I highly doubt your purpose as a business is for real. Just want the vegan money. The only good part, that makes me sleep well at night, is that will never be back.
The lunch menu was awesome, especially for the price. Today it was a beet mash with bread, a great soup with what I think was miners lettuce, some type of Portuguese fish dish made with tofu and some type of chocolate cake with fruit. This description is not giving it the credit it deserves because it was so good, I really really liked it.Also the staff was super friendly and welcoming. There were some really though guests which were all over the place, it took them a good ten minutes to sit down, another 10 to decide what they wanted with assistance and they were constantly running around and asking to change seats but the staff handled it gracefully. Im really happy I went there.I would recommend reserving a seat outside if the weather is great because the outdoor seating area is awesome. But indoors was also really welcoming. All in all great, I will definitely come here again.
Nice vibe at this hippy-ish plant based vegan restaurant. Sat outside at the back. Great service. Enjoyed it and would come back again. The mango sorbet was to die for! yummy 😋
The staff was very kind and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious and affordable. The ambiance in the restaurant feels very homey and chic at the same time. Definitely worth a visit!
Charming place! Delicious healthy food (even my 10 year old son loved their lunch menu); refreshing homemade drinks; creative food presentation; fantastic people (thank you so much, guys!!and great value for money (lunch menu costs €10 per person).
WOW if I could give more stars I would. The food, the service, the vibes, the presentation - phenomenal. Loved it. One of the most delicious vegan meals I’ve had. I wish I could have the recipe for the Portuguese meal :)
Great food and top service. Could improve on the outdoor decor and seating but otherwise very good. Nice to get a clean healthy vegan meal in Portugal. Nice ambiance too.
We went there for lunch 3 course menu for 10 Eur per person- Starters : Grilled Chillies- Cabbage Soup- Mains had the option of Pumpkin Lasagne / Mushroom Pie with salad- Dessert ( not part of course menu - coconut mango mousse. We found the main courses very flavourful and appealing. Well prepared with different flavours. They also make your plate super colorful with flowers, herbs .Starters - chillies were nice but to me it was more for pallet cleansing then starters.Soup - Also lacked flavor.Dessert - it was really nice with just right amount of sweetness and very refreshing for the Porto Sun.Tip : Given the limited vegan options in Porto, one could try for lunch, although little far off from the main city centre.
Some of the best Vegan food you can find in Porto!Ive lived in Porto for the most part of my life, and have been feeding on a plant based diet for 9+ years now: what a great little restaurant this is! It serves some of the best food in the city, the staff is extremely cool, both the inside & the outside areas are really pleasent, you can be sure youll have a great experience eating out at Árvore do Mundo - 5 out of 5 stars for sure!Highly recommended!!!
Amazing food!! You can’t go wrong with this place. We loved it (even my non vegan husband loved it so much)
Stumbled upon this place as it was the only restaurant still open, they accommodated us and served delicious vegan food. Truly excellent, eye-catching and light dishes. Very friendly service and charming experience. While the wine was good, the beer was merely passable. They didnt take card payments as of May 2021, so bring cash. Im not vegan, but one of the best dining experiences in Porto. Recommended!
Great food and great service. Recomend. Good price too
The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely, the price is very reasonable and the staff was the absolute nicest. Great place for anyone that enjoys a cosy and homely dining experience, vegans and non-vegans alike. I loved it and will definitely come back next time I’m in Porto!
A wonderfull restaurant with marvelous and staff ! We literally love the time we spent there. Like us, you dont have to be vegan to enjoy such extraordinary food with a really fair price in the city..thank you again 🙏🌟
Great concept and amazingly tasty (and affordablefood prepared with care and attention to detail. A culinary psychedelic trip. Went in for dinner during a trip to Porto and ended up coming back three times.
Delicious vegan restaurant in Porto! One of the best places we ate at in Portugal and definitely the best vegan food Ive had so far. Interesting vegan interpretations of typical Portuguese dishes. Fair prices and friendly service. We had a great experience and tried many of their dishes.
It is a small, cute, delicious vegan place nearby many Porto attractions. Their vegan food is the most delicious vegan food I have ever tried! In fact, it’s one of the most delicious foods I have ever tried, vegan or not. I love that they make traditional, vegan, Portuguese food that I didn’t think I would’ve gotten the chance to try otherwise. They have menus of the day for a more than fair price; a great selection of drinks (wine, local beer brewery, kombucha, soft drinks, etc). Also, when we ordered our dessert to go, we loved that the chef had the attention to decorate it as if we would’ve eaten it there.Everything was fresh, delicious and they served a good amount of food in each dish.Their service is great, and not rushed at all, so this is not the place for you if you’re looking to be in and out in 30 min. The whole staff was warm and welcoming. I really loved the vibes of this place, I would definitely be a regular if I lived in Porto :)
Its not the fact of being a vegan restaurant, or even that you dont eat meat. The food is just too good, the dishes have a lot of variety of ingredients, colors, and flavor. The staff is extremely nice and the space is quiet. I would say almost zen.
That was an excellent experience. The place, the food and the people working there. Havent been in such a perfect, cosy, chilled and professional place. You see that they put their hearts in their work. The food is playful, delicious, fresh with respect to the ingredients, planned however looking spontaneous and artsy. every part of it is well thought through. all of the vinegraites, sauces, decorations... that was for me an amazing day as a veggie tourist in Porto! I ate a dish that was as well inspired by the portuguese traditional recipe. The deal with the lunch with the soup main dish and a drink - great job guys! When i ll move to Porto i ll be coming back for sure!!!!! <3
The food here is delicious and 100% vegan. We left this place with a full belly of goodness. The staff is super friendly, helpful and happy to explain all the dishes served (there are quite a few traditional Portuguese dishes that were made vegan). Great vibes and great people!
Lovely staff, really eager to please. I splurged on the wine which was a 10 year old red and was glad I did, it was good. I had a starter that was a surprisingly tasty tofu veggie dip with good bread. The feijoada main was delicious. Peach pie with pomegranate for dessert a little sweet for my taste, but all in all, a good experience.
Delicious meals.😋I loved the hose wine with the vegan stroganoff hmmm!
Amazing food, service, atmosphere. I DO recommend this place!!! Lovely 💚😍😊
The staff was very friendly and showed us some poem’s books related to Japan while waiting for the lunch. The lunch course was very unique and tasty. I like the pumpkin (made in Hokkaido, Japansource.
Very nice vegan food and a lovely spot in one of the not so lovely parts of Porto. Youll be hosted by very friendly staff. The food is totally tasty. For lunch there is just one main course per day which is presented by the waiter. I like the idea of changing courses every day.
Amazing! This is the place! Loved everything, from the space, to the staff, to the vibration, and the food! Oh the food!!Amazing and healthy!!Wonderful and delicious!!Will comeback twice a monthThank you Árvore do Mundo
Excellent food, nice place, friendly and helpful staff.Even if you are not vegan, the food just tastes good.Really well seasoned, and not too much food.I was really sceptical about the desert (some homemade chocolate bar), but it won me over in the first bite. Its not the cheapest place to eat, but I dont think theyd be able to deliver the quality they do otherwise. And also, I wouldnt call a €10 complete menu (entree, soup, meal, drink expensive.
Tasty vegan food, well priced and friendly service. Had the set lunch menu for 10 € including a drink.
Delicious (and good looking!vegetarian food and very nice service. It was definitely worth the short walk from the train station.
The food is both inventive and cooked with love, the space cosy, the terrace serene and the service friendly. Had the lunch menu along with a supertasty dessert – I’ll be back for more!
Good and tasty food for an awesome price. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Sooo good. And cheap!Lunch menu - starter, soup, main dish (the one in the picture+ drink = 10 euro.
Excellent vegetarian / vegan dishes. Friendly service. Fair prices.
Whats not to love about this place? Tasty vegan food, attentive staff, reasonable prices, plus the restaurant is beautiful inside. Go hungry!
Amazing place! The lunch and dessert made my day. It was delicious and reasonably cheap. ;)
Awesome restaurant! Their €10 lunch offer made me really happy! Tasty food, lovely hosts and atmosphere. Took me a minute to find this place as it doesn’t have a big sign outside :)
Exceptional vegetarian restaurant! One of the best in Europe. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to try something special.
Not a lot of options, which means youll have to pick between a couple of dishes. Fortunately thats not an issue as the food is nice. Unfortunately theyre closed most of the week and tables are limited so book in advance.
Some of the best vegan food Ive had in my entire life - including the past 2 years as a vegan in Melbourne! The service is incredible, the food is phenomenal, the only fault I found for this place was that it is closed on Sunday and Monday.Food and service like this deserves to be known to all, do not hesitate to come here because you will not regret it!The photos do not do it justice, but the vegan cheese platter and vegan mushroom Alheira are to die for!
